Wedding Venues in Costa Rica

Let me start by saying this: I have always believed weddings were a waste of money. In my mind, that money could always be better used as a down payment on a house. So when my daughter wanted a small wedding, we originally thought simple Vegas chapel style. But once the guest list became more than just a few family members, Vegas no longer made sense. We searched everywhere — Mexico, Peru, and finally Costa Rica. That’s when I found Villa Punta de Vista through a wedding website and instantly fell in love with it. At first, though, I thought it was too expensive and hard to justify. After comparing it to every other venue we looked at, we finally decided to move forward with Villa Punta de Vista. Even then, I remained skeptical right up until the day we arrived. I kept wondering if we were spending too much money. The moment we arrived at    the villa, everything changed. As the days passed, I couldn’t believe I had ever doubted this place or this experience. The home itself is absolutely top-notch. Every detail is thought out beautifully. The views are breathtaking, the service from the staff is incredible, and the owners’ personal attention made us feel truly cared for from beginning to end. This wasn’t just a wedding. It became a family reunion, a once-in-a-lifetime weekend, and a memory we will all carry forever that just happened to include a wedding ceremony. My family travels all over the world and has stayed at some truly amazing places, and they could not stop raving about Villa Punta de Vista. What impressed me the most was the way the staff genuinely cared for us. One of my cousins had a medical emergency involving low blood sugar and actually passed out. The staff stayed with him at the clinic and helped make sure he was okay. Who does that anymore? Absolutely amazing people. Costa Rica itself was wonderful as well — beautiful, welcoming, and incredibly easy for travelers since U.S. dollars are accepted almost everywhere. If you are considering Villa Punta de Vista, stop searching. Don’t think twice. You only live once, and I can honestly say this experience was worth every penny. Where do I begin??? As a bride, planning a wedding is beyond stressful ESPECIALLY from overseas. However, I can 100% say with absolutely certainty that the Westin Reserva Conchal was the BEST decision I've ever made in my whole life! They made planning my wedding so easy and they went above and beyond for everything!!! Milady was my wedding planner and I feel like she's family! Don't hesitate. Pick this vendor! You definitely won't be disappointed!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeanette, our wedding coordinator at Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica. From the very beginning, she was in constant communication with us, sending daily messages that made us feel completely prepared and at ease planning a destination wedding. Her support extended not only to us, but also to our family and friends who traveled to Costa Rica to celebrate our special day. I didn't get married in Costa Rica, but Spencer did host my event and did a spectacular job both behind the scenes in the planning and detail management, as well as being the emcee and capturing everyone's hearts. I can't wait to visit the Las Brisas Resort, as everything looks amazing, and I know Spencer & Nataly would be fantastic hosts. Have always loved working with them!

We hosted our welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and wedding at El Mangroove in February 2025 and had the most wonderful experience. Paola and her team were incredibly professional & couldn't do enough for us and our group of over 100 guests. Both us and our guests thought the value was 10/10. Our wedding at Amor Arenal was the most magical day, something beyond my wildest dreams. The rainforest setting took our breath away, the staff made every moment feel effortless and full of love. It was the most beautiful soul-filled experience. A day we will never forget. The resort itself is a true sanctuary — nestled in the lush rainforest with breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano. Every aspect of the property exudes tranquility and luxury, with meticulous attention to detail evident throughout. Our suite was, without question, the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. I can’t say enough good things about this incredible venue! From start to finish, the experience was truly unforgettable. Jenn was amazing throughout the wedding planning process—so helpful and responsive. Fabian and Karol were there the moment we arrived, coordinating everything from hair and makeup to massages and even booking fishing charters for our group. And Diego—don’t get me started! He and his team were phenomenal. The food was absolutely outstanding and a huge hit with all our guests. Yes, it’s a bit pricey—but worth every single penny. I highly recommend this venue!

We had an 85 person wedding at this villa, not only was it everything I could imagine It was so much more. The Villa had the most amazing staff they cooked us breakfast every morning, helped us along the day did our laundry, by the end they almost felt like family. The villa was the perfect ceremony, reception and dance floor, we only added a tent for the rainy season.

Our wedding elopement ceremony was everything and exceeded our expectations! Lucrecia was very warm, helpful, available and just overall amazing! You can tell that this is her passion and she does everything in her power to make it the most perfect day possible! She met with us beforehand over zoom and was with us the whole night for anything we needed! The food, photography, and flower were just beyond beautiful. They also made the process so easy. They didn’t overwhelm us with options and let us do whatever we wanted to fit our needs. I will never forget the kindness of the staff and this beautiful location. We will definitely be back for a future anniversary. ¡Buena Vida! 💕
