Villa Ocaso is a 9-bedroom luxury villa and wedding venue in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, created to host life’s most meaningful celebrations. Overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean, our villa combines breathtaking views, refined design, and heartfelt service for couples seeking an intimate and unforgettable wedding destination. Whether you envision a romantic ceremony on our ocean-view terraces, a sunset rehearsal dinner by the infinity pool, or a weekend of curated celebrations with your closest loved ones, Villa Ocaso provides the perfect backdrop.
As the owner of Villa Ocaso, I bring over 15 years of experience as a Costa Rican wedding planner specializing in destination weddings. I understand every detail that goes into creating flawless celebrations, and that expertise is woven into the way our villa hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, and private events.
Our full-time staff includes a butler, concierge, housekeeper, and doorman, ensuring that every moment is seamless. Guests may also upgrade their stay with private chef services, mixologists, spa treatments, cultural activities, and curated excursions. From beachside cocktail hours to personalized menus and unique cultural experiences like tortilla-making classes, each event can be elevated to reflect your vision. Guests enjoy luxury amenities, spacious suites with ocean views, and the warmth of Costa Rica’s Pura Vida spirit in every detail.
Villa Ocaso can host up to 20 guests (16 adults + children) within the villa. For larger groups, there is also a 7-bedroom home located directly across from us, managed separately, where an additional 14 guests can be accommodated. This allows you to bring together more of your loved ones while still keeping your celebration intimate and close by.
At Villa Ocaso, we know weddings are about more than one day—they are about memories shared with family and friends. That’s why we offer tailored services for rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, intimate ceremonies, and farewell brunches. Every celebration feels private, elevated, and meaningful, designed for couples who want the intimacy of a private home with the luxury of a five-star resort.
