About us:
Villa Ocaso is the only culturally rich villa in Costa Rica. Every space is filled with local art and artisan touches, and at the heart of it is a culinary team trained at a Michelin-caliber level, specializing in elevating Costa Rican cuisine to a fine-dining experience. They source locally, farm-to-table, so the food itself tells the story of this region. Guests can also take part in hands-on cultural experiences right at the villa — tortilla-making over open fire, pottery, and more. For a wedding week, all of this becomes part of the celebration itself, not just a backdrop.
Facilities and Capacity
This 9-bedroom luxury villa in Guanacaste overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is designed for meaningful, multi-day celebrations, including ocean-view ceremonies, sunset rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and farewell brunches. It also accommodates up to 20 overnight guests (16 adults plus children), with a separate 7-bedroom home directly across the street available for an additional 14 guests.
Services Offered
Villa Ocaso is owned by a former destination wedding planner with over 15 years of experience, bringing expert insight into every celebration hosted at the property. A professional wedding planner is required for all weddings; couples may bring their own planner or work with one of the venue’s trusted local recommendations. A full-time on-site team—including a butler, concierge, housekeeper, and doorman—ensures a seamless and elevated experience.
