I absolutely adored my experience with The Powder room! I used them for my wedding From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and truly talented. They helped create beautiful looks for both my mother and my mother-in-law, and I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. They also did stunning hair for all of my bridesmaids. Each bridesmaid had the chance to chat with Jen and collaborate on a hairstyle that perfectly suited their hair texture and dress, which made everyone feel so confident and special. Jen was amazing—polite, friendly, and so easy to talk to. She fit right in with us and genuinely felt like part of the fun on such a special day. I have nothing but wonderful things to say and would highly recommend them to any bride looking for a seamless, joyful, and beautiful bridal experience!

Jacqueline did my make-up as well as my mother and mother-in-laws plus 5 bridesmaids for my July 2011 wedding. She was not only very efficient, but the quality was outstanding and we all loved her! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, experience make up artist who will also put you at ease on the big day!

I want to give five stars, but the website won't let me :), but I had any amazing makeup artist, Chrysti from Flaunt do my wedding makeup as well as my bridal party. She was wonderful! I don't wear a lot of makeup, like none, but Chrysti made me feel beautiful, confidant, and comfortable. She knows weddings, what photographs well, and what will suit each person best, she is a true professional and artist. All of my bridesmaids were already beautiful, but Chrysti made them look flawless. I loved my makeup and I'm sure my new husband would agree Chrysti was the best!

I am from Ohio, so it was a little difficult trying to find someone who could do my MIL and my makeup for our wedding. I had found Nikki through wedding wire and I was not disappointed. From the very first email I had sent to her to the day of the wedding she was absolutely amazing. The day of the wedding Nikki was going to come out around 12 or so to start, well everything that could go wrong that morning did. In result, my makeup needed to be done hours earlier and without any hesitation she was at our beach house to get our makeup done! She was super quick to make sure we could get to our new hair appointments on time. && She was an absolute blast to talk to. She was amazing in every where and I am forever grateful for what she did for me on my wedding day.

Katie and the salon are fantastic. The whole process so far has been great. Katie is easy to communicate with and the salon offers reasonable pricing for wedding hair, make-up, and styling. Plus she's fun to work with :) I've had my make-up trial and hair trial for the wedding and I feel super comfortable for the big day approaching. Thanks Katie and team! See you soon!

Alicia did an amazing job on my hair. It lasted the whole day. She also did 5 of my bridesmaids and my moms hair all on location. She brought one person with her and they were very flexible and stayed on schedule so we were done on time stress free. She also did my trial and I left knowing the hair wasn't quite right but she practiced and did research before the big day to make sure it was perfect the day of.

Heather Tennyson, the owner of Special Effects for Hair, did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She did an amazing job. Everyone complimented me on my hair and makeup. Both of which withstood 100 degree weather! I looked and felt like a princess. I would highly recommend Heather and her team for your special event!!

Lauren and her team were so great and it felt like I was hanging out with friends. They were very professional and asked all the right questions when it came to how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding day. I never felt pressured to purchase any of the optional add ons which was lovely. My wedding was less than 2 weeks before Lauren's own wedding and you'd never have known it as she was so calm, kind and professional. I felt so confident and beautiful on my day thanks to the St. James team.
