Katie and the salon are fantastic. The whole process so far has been great. Katie is easy to communicate with and the salon offers reasonable pricing for wedding hair, make-up, and styling. We were so so happy with our services from Katie and her team! Katie was so easy to work with from the beginning. During my trial, Katie took her time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it for the big day. Everything was perfect for wedding day!! Kassidy did my sister and my hair for my wedding!! She was so sweet and wonderful to work with!! I came in for a trial at the Rock, Paper, Scissor Salon in Santa Rosa and she talked through everything as she did my hair. She suggested I get hair extensions to make my bun thicker on the day of and I am so glad I listened to her because it looked amazing!! She did a wonderful job doing our hair, even when I requested a few changes the day of!! My mom and mother in law needed a few bobby pins and hair spray (we forgot them in the chaos of going to the venue) and Kassidy was so sweet to give them whatever they needed! The time leading up to the wedding, I corresponded via email with Katie, the owner, and she always quickly responded to us and any questions I had. Thank you Kassidy, we LOVED your work!! We would highly highly recommend you to anyone :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE Katie and her team at Rock Paper Scissors! I was supposed to have a close friend and her salon do our hair and makeup but with our wedding being during a holiday it made it difficult to staff. I am so glad I found Katie. My mom and I both did hair and makeup trials - which came out perfect. **Pro Tip** schedule a dress fitting the same day so you can see the whole look together!

The day of our wedding, the team got there right on time despite less than favorable weather. Everyone loved their hair and makeup designs. They were even running a bit ahead of schedule and were able to "primp" my grandmother's and aunt's hair last minute!

Katie and her team did all of the hair and makeup for my wedding. We had a GREAT experience with them! Katie did a trial run of hair and makeup with me and took time to listen to me and make changes to make sure I was 100% happy. The final result- I was 200% happy with my wedding look! All of my bridesmaids, mothers of bride and groom, and flower girl looked stunning. Katie and her team came to our hotel and added lots of fun while we all got ready. Katie was very professional and organized so the morning was stress free. They did a great job!!!

I never put much thought into the importance of hair and makeup for a wedding until I had my own. My hair and makeup was done by my photographer, but I wanted to do something special for my bridesmaids and my mother so they felt pampered and relaxed on the day of the wedding. Not only did the Rock Paper Scissors team make the day more relaxing, they made all the ladies look incredible!

Katie is joy to work with. As the day approached I had some changes to schedules, to people needing services and she was very flexible, responsive and incredibly helpful.

We got ready at the guest house of the vineyard where the ceremony and reception was held. There were 6 ladies and myself all getting ready in one bedroom so space was limited and Katie and team made it work. Not only were they efficient but they were flexible, too. All the ladies came with an idea of what they wanted for updos and the RPS team made all the different styles work together. All the makeup looked natural and the hair turned out amazing - and on time! Given the tight timeline we had I was impressed. They even had a couple girls ask for changes after they were done and still had time left before pictures to do touch ups.

Having Katie and team there to make us all look good was amazing and I can't recommend them more!

How do I even begin to tell you how amazing Katie (the owner) is?! Katie and 2 other stylists came to do hair and makeup for 10 girls at my wedding last weekend (6/28/2015). Katie had me come in about a month before the wedding to do a hair and makeup trial and not only is she the sweetest, but so calming and fun! She listened to me completely about what I liked and wanted and even when I gave her feedback about makeup, she wrote it all down and totally delivered the changes on the wedding day! The week before the wedding, Katie emailed me a super organized schedule so I and all my girls knew exactly who was getting what service, from which stylist, and at what time. It was even color-coded (be still, my OCD heart!). Not only did she go above and beyond to make sure everything was clear and organized, she also without hesitation switched up the schedule to accommodate some timing needs (my MOH and MIL needed later time slots last minute).
When Katie arrived, she took no time to set up and start her magic! I even had a girl not show up for her appointment (I know, who does that?!?!) but Katie and her stylists didn't miss a beat and let my older half-sister get her hair done instead! The whole team was awesome- funny, sweet, and made everyone look phenomenal! She even made time at the end to do touch-ups on everyone before we headed out to pictures. THANK YOU Katie and the whole team for dolling us all up and making me feel truly beautiful on my big day!

I am so delighted with the services that Katie provided to me and my girls on my wedding day! She was super flexible, I think my timeline changed about 10 times because I kept requesting changes but throughout the process, Katie remained professional and very personable and didn't mind all the changes. I have been a client of Katie's for years so there was no question that she would be doing my hair and makeup for my wedding. Katie also did my sister, mom, and a couple of other women in our wedding party. All of the girls looked amazing and felt amazing. We got ready early since we did all of our photos before the ceremony and there are pictures taken at midnight and we still look great! This was all despite the fact that I stage-dived like a crazy person and danced my toosh off! I looked great and felt great all night long.

Her crew was great also! My sister LOVED her hair and makeup and people cannot stop talking about how gorgeous she looked. Katie and her assistants work well as a team and you can tell she carefully selected the best girls in Santa Rosa. I am so happy that I had Katie do our hair and makeup. Katie did my hair and the hair of my bridesmaids and mother for the wedding and it all turned out PERFECT. We had met for a hair trial where she took notes, looked at many pintrest photos ahead of time, and made suggestions based on what we tried. She is fun and relaxed to work with, but also on-time (even ahead of time), efficient, flexible (as some of our time-lines had to change last minute), and offered great ideas when some of us didn't know what we wanted. Also, everyone's hair stayed perfect through a windy out-doors wedding + out-doors reception + dancing.
