Yellow twist review
There are not enough words to describe how big of an impact Lindsay from Yellow Twist made on our wedding…. But I will try. First of all, she took our confusing “vision” for a two-day Indian American wedding and brought it to life! She transformed our space with floral from day to day, and recycled all our florals from the first day on the second! This was so important for us from a budgeting perspective. Instead of being scared of our budget, she got creative and made magic. Lindsay was a great communicator and answered all of our questions thoroughly and quickly!

Lindsay had an amazing structure that she adapted to our Indian wedding and used it as a mandap. The florals were jaw droppingly beautiful, so natural and classy. The second day she made our barn look like an enchanted forest - with trees on the beams, a high low design with trees coming out of the tables and a gorgeous FULL table runner of flowers. It was breath taking and more beautiful than i could have imagined.

Lindsay is a beautiful human and a talented artist. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a florist that brings experience, a creative mind and a friend. We were so lucky to find her!!!

We hired Lindsay and her team at Yellow Twist for wedding florals for our October 2021 wedding in Portland, ME. Lindsay was phenomenal, and gave us everything we wanted and more.

I found Lindsay on a whim while looking through other Maine wedding photos, but I felt an instant creative connection with her. She is so fun, thoughtful, creative, and knowledgeable. I appreciated that she comes from an artistic background, not just horticulture - so she really understood the overall composition I was going for with our table florals. I work in event production and was anxious about handing off my vision to vendors, but Lindsay delivered on everything we asked for. She maximized our budget - getting us as much content as possible in our price range - and I thought her rates were very fair for the quality products we received.

I had a narrow overall vision - I made over 200 bottle vases to use in the décor - but let Lindsay run with the floral content and she nailed it. I wanted an autumnal color palate but left exact floral choices to Lindsay and the results were STUNNING. The variety of size, texture, shape, and color were fabulous, and the arrangements genuinely brought our space to life. The ceremony arrangement brought me to tears - it was just gorgeous. And again - Lindsay seems like a person who genuinely loves what she does - her enthusiasm was contagious, her staff was so lovely and kind (shout-out to Jill for delivering the personal flowers!), and I will highly recommend her services to anyone in the area. Thank you, Lindsay!

My fiance and I were planning an out of town wedding in midcoastal Maine at French's Point, and we used Lindsay as our florist. She was wonderful to work with- she did a great job explaining floral/artistic concepts that we weren't familiar with, she had a great sense of humor and brought enjoyment to the planning process, she helped us work within our budget and put together pieces that would have the most impact, and she helped bring our vision to life. We were so pleased with the quality of her work. Highly recommend!
