Wild Flour NYC is a wedding cake bakery based out of Long Island City, New York. Our artisanal bakery is run by Pastry Chef Gina Spinelli with the support of her talented team. We are happy to work with couples throughout the tri-state area to create their dream cake. This talented culinary team loves putting a modern spin on classic treats and techniques.

Services Offered

Wild FLour NYC offers custom designs, understanding that every couple will have a unique vision for their wedding cake. The process starts with a consultation, where you can sit down and talk with your cake designer about your ideas and hopes. You're also invited to attend a private tasting and sample some of the flavors on offer. These bakers are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements you might have, including gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan options. On the day of your wedding, this bakery is available to take care of delivering and setting up your wedding cake and chosen treats. These can include:

You MUST Book Gina!!

We loved working with Gina for our wedding cake! From the moment we stepped foot into Wild Flour for our tasting she made us feel like we were at home. She would not rest to make sure we tried every option that we wanted to find not just one but three perfect cake options that captured our day. Our wedding cake was not only moist and delicious but truly BEAUTIFUL!! Gina was able to make some nut free and gluten free cake slices for family members with allergies. We cannot thank you enough Gina for making our day so sweet!!

Best. Wedding. Cake. Ever.

We loved working with Gina at Wild Flour -- the tasting was fun and informative, the process was very easy, the cake turned out GORGEOUS, and most importantly, it was really really really tasty. Gina converted me from a wedding cake skeptic to a wedding cake BELIEVER. People were all abuzz about it, and even asking for Wild Flour's contact so they could get the same exact cake made. We did a combo of her champagne vanilla and champagne dark chocolate, then an assortment of other tasty goodies. The cake was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding, and we're so grateful Gina sent our guests off so sweetly.

The best cake

We are in absolute BLISS. That was the wedding of our dreams. We are so thankful to you for your attention to detail and incredible creation of the cake. It was DELICIOUS and we have so much in our house. The guests were RAVING about it. And it was GORGEOUSSSS

Absolutely fabulous!

Gina worked with our family to provide a wonderful cake and desserts for my son's wedding. She listened to our needs and had many helpful recommendations. Everything was delicious and looked beautiful. I highly recommend this vendor.

Dream cake!!

Gina is absolutely incredible! I loved her sunny personality and creativity when I first met her during the tasting (yum!) but she truly wowed me when I saw the actual result of our planning. When the wait staff brought in the cake, I literally gasped because it was everything I dreamed of!! The design, the positioning of our toppers, the golden accent—everything was simply perfect! And needless to say, it tasted sooooo good!! If you’re still choosing a baker, don’t even hesitate—Wildflour is your go-to! Thank you so much, Gina, for making our special day even more special! ♥️

Great Flexibility & Wonderful Options

Wild Flour was the right small business for us to use for our wedding. Gina was so accommodating and flexible to work with - and she made it easy for me to see my vision come to light. I was not a "traditional multi-tier" cake type of bride, and her understanding of my cake/dessert bar preferences made the choice and design process seamless. No stress. The tasting that she does with you gives you some good perspective on her MANY options, so I really enjoyed that she provides that option. She returns your emails and calls quickly - and is transparent when she knows she'll be busy working other events - so that you know she WILL get back to you. I completely enjoyed my experience with Wild Flour and Gina. A delight.

Perfection!!

Beyond obsessed and still dreaming about how delicious our wedding cake and cookies/treats were from Wild Flour! Everything turned out so beautiful and Gina is amazing to work with. I’ll never go anywhere else for a cake or desserts!!

Vanilla champagne and sparkling rosé cake wedding cake perfection

The wedding cake that Gina at Wild Flour NYC made for our May 13th wedding at MyMoon was by far the best wedding cake I have ever had in my life -- and I am not just saying that because it was our wedding! From our first tasting, I knew that Gina was a true cake visionary. She made us a vanilla champagne and sparkling rosé cake with lemon buttercream, coated with a thin layer of honey lavender buttercream on the outside (naked cake style). Perfection. My husband and I were delighted to have some extra cake to take home after the wedding, and we've been treating ourselves to slices on special occasions since the wedding. Thank you so much Gina, especially for being so flexible and compassionate after we had to reschedule the wedding not once, but three times, due to COVID!

So good! Recommend recommend recommend

Gina and her team at Wild Flour NYC were wonderful! Prices were reasonable and the service and especially the product were EXCELLENT! Planning the wedding cross-country, Gina accommodated us the week of our wedding for a cake tasting. The cake tasting was short and sweet (just how we liked it) and though she guided us with what flavors usually go with what, the cake and fillings spoke for themselves! We chose a 3 tier alternating layers of dark chocolate champagne and vanilla champagne cake with salted bourbon cream in between and a naked cream cheese finish. SO DELICIOUS!!! Moist and flavorful! The cake was perfect for our wedding as they also nailed the look we wanted! Cake was beautifully made with the right amount of “naked” and accented with our florist flowers.

So excited for their brick and mortar store! Can’t wait to taste their cakes again! Thank you again Wild Flour NYC!!!
