We cannot ask for a more beautiful wedding cake. The elegance of the design matched our overall aesthetic perfectly. The cake was so popular that we barely had left-overs!
The tasting box worked really well – we were able to find our favorite flavors and also provided feedback. Laura was great to work with. She listened to our stories and brainstormed ideas together – the whole process was very smooth and stress free!

I highly recommend Pip & Bits. Working with Laura was delightful. The communication flowed and every detail for our son and daughter in law’s Floating wedding cake was perfect. Laura did an amazing job on our wedding cake! It was exactly what we wanted for our fall wedding- beautifully decorated with Laura's homemade apple cider donuts! Our guests were constantly commenting on how beautiful and delicious the cake was! Would highly recommend!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Pip & Bits! Laura, the owner, was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was so thoughtful about both the design and flavors of the cake. We wanted a cake that evoked an Art Deco vibe to go with our Great Gatsby/roaring 20-inspired wedding, but we didn't want it to be overly theme-y. She delivered an absolutely gorgeous design that perfectly captured the "understated glam" look we were hoping for. We went with two flavors that were elevated, unique takes on classic flavors - chocolate cake with bourbon pecan cream cheese filling, and vanilla cake with salted honey vanilla buttercream filling. (My husband and I never would have thought we would have chosen a chocolate wedding cake, but Laura's recipe is out of this world.) Everyone raved about how delicious it was. Overall, a fantastic experience with Laura - I'm already thinking about when I might be able to get another cake from her!

Could not recommend Pip & Bits more. Laura was a delight to work with and provided insight and help throughout the process. The tasting was perfect and so easy. It was so tough not to choose the chocolate cake, but we went with the lemon. It was phenomenal. The type of cake where people do not stop talking about it after the wedding!

We loved our wedding cake from Pip & Bits! We received five tasting samples before ordering our cake, and choosing between the options was a tough decision because they were all so good. We ended up choosing two flavors (chocolate w/espresso and spice cake w/cream cheese) and they were both fantastic. We ordered more portions than we thought we'd need, and we still barely managed to take home a few slices because guests wanted seconds. The cake was also gorgeous--Laura provided a beautiful dreamy paint-inspired design that perfectly matched the aesthetic of the event. We couldn't have been happier! And as an Astoria resident, I was glad to support a baker right in my neighborhood.

Great tasting food was one of the top priorities for us in planning. We had tasted cakes from another very popular wedding cake vendor before Pip n Bits, and the moment we tasted Pip n Bits we had a clear winner. Laura, the owner, was very easy to work with. I loved that she had an extensive flavor list with some unique options, and asked for our taste preferences to determine which flavor combinations to have us taste. My husband and I are huge dessert people so do not take it lightly when she says her chocolate cake is the best -- it's true. We ultimately chose a three-layer chocolate cake with speculoos icing which was so delicious and also, stunning. She nailed the look we wanted. So many of our guests told us they don't like cake or chocolate and said they loved the cake. If you've tried other cake vendors and aren't sold on them, I promise Pip n Bits will be the one!

This cake was INCREDIBLE. It looked amazing and tasted magical! Laura was so great to work with and the product was spectacular; I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Laura was so great to work with and her cakes are so delicious. We wanted three smaller cakes instead of one large one and Laura worked with us to create three absolutely incredible flavors: vanilla cake with lemon curd and berries, chocolate cake with hazelnut praline filling, and a spice cake with bourbon pecan cream cheese filling. Every flavor was delicious at our tasting and they were all just as good at our wedding. On top of being delicious, the cakes looked beautiful. Highly recommended.
