My wife and I interviewed several wedding planners as we prepared for our international wedding in Cancun, Mexico.

Planning a destination wedding is daunting, and I didn’t know where to start. As a type A person, I knew the resort planners weren’t going to cut it. I interviewed a few private planners and I was so impressed by Monica’s friendliness, reviews, and price.
Leading up to the wedding, we scheduled calls and reviewed all of my wishes. She recommended vendors, contacted and coordinated with them, got me fair, reasonable prices, and reminded me of my payments. This saved me COUNTLESS hours!
Monica was so helpful during our tasting visit and was with us every step of the way.
When it was time for the wedding, she coordinated all of my guests (~70) arrival times and transportation. She helped organize our catamaran excursion. One thing that truly impressed us was how well she communicated with our resort. Despite their occasional lack of communication, Monica was persistent with our questions and got us amazing deals and comps. What I was imagining to be one of the most stressful days of my life turned into a dream vacation and wedding.
Monica and her team had everything covered. I had a bridal attendant with me at all times to make sure our dresses were steamed, making sure I was drinking water, dabbing the sweat off my back in between pictures, helping me change into my reception dress, etc. This was truly above and beyond. I felt so special, and this let my mom and sister feel like they could relax and enjoy the wedding.
Monica and her team found my dad a belt when he realized he didn’t pack his, they went grocery shopping for us, she responded to all of my messages so quickly. They truly go above and beyond.

The décor team did a fantastic job—everything from the photo stations, the string lights, the elegant white cover at the pergola, and even the reflective white vinyl floor at the ceremony was absolutely stunning. There are no words to describe just how wonderful Monica, Vanessa and their team are! There is no way I could have pulled off a destination wedding without them. I seriously don’t think there could be anyone better than Monica and her team as a wedding planner. They made my wedding a dream come true from start to finish. Monica was very responsive and always available to talk. She always kept me in the loop and managed everything with my hotel, coordinator, and vendors behind the scenes. I did not stress one time throughout the whole process. She was on top of everything! My vision completely came to life and was beautiful. The wedding day she had a whole team with me that were just as amazing. I received compliments the whole night about all of them. My husband and I held off planning a wedding for a few years, in all honesty, because we were fearful that we would not be able to afford the wedding of our dreams. The wedding planning process is daunting and expensive and planning an event internationally adds a layer of ‘unknowns’ to the mix. I had planned on doing everything myself (I have experience planning events, and I love planning), but quickly realized that internationally coordinating vendors, catering, decor, etc. was becoming more of a stressor rather than something to look forward to. After speaking with my photographer (Giulia Vasta), she recommended Monica and her team to see if she could just help with some of the logistics, but after meeting with Monica we decided to hire her as our vendor coordinator, in addition to being our day of coordinator. I do not write reviews lightly, and when I say Monica and her team went above and beyond to make our day the most incredible of our lives, I am not even slightly kidding. She was responsive from the second we signed our contract. I don’t think 24 hours ever passed before we received a response from her. She worked with us to update our quote throughout the process to ensure we stayed within our budget. She was calm, reassuring, and very professional on all of our calls leading up to the big day! Monica picked us up from the airport, helped arrange transportation for our guests, helped pick up groceries, got suits pressed, etc.- which relieved so many of the small stressors that add up when planning a wedding.

On the wedding day, Monica and her team truly went above and beyond. The tablescape and flower bouquets were more gorgeous than any Pinterest photo I had saved in the process, the furniture was gorgeous, the food delicious, and the timing was immaculate. Everything went off without a hitch, and Monica was so calm and reassuring all day. I cannot recommend Monica and her team enough. Seriously, if you are looking for a professional, who has an eye for design, is kind and thoughtful, and will create an event that is elevated beyond your wildest dreams- you need to hire Monica immediately! I know everyone speaks highly of their wedding day, but I seriously have no negative comments, or wish anything would have been different!

I’m so happy that we hired Monica and team! Getting married at Xcaret Mexico is overwhelming because even though it’s a beautiful property it’s huge. We needed support on handling vendors/Catholic wedding process. Our weekly calls were always fun, and flexible too. She helped us with our vision and made it come true! We ran into an issue with one of our vendors insurance the week of wedding and she solved it. Helped us keep our costs down as much as we could. The day of was insane in a good way! I felt like VIP, her team was there to assist with anything that I needed since the morning (making sure I ate and drank water, which I appreciate SO MUCH!).
