We absolutely LOVED our experience with Tracy! I found these reviews to be VERY helpful during the process of selecting someone to work with, so I did my best to be as detailed as possible (so it’s a bit of a read)! Moral of the story: Tracy is amazing and made our dream wedding happen and I can’t imagine working with anyone else. We used Tracy's services as both a wedding planner and travel coordinator. If you can swing it, I HIGHLY recommend using a dedicated planner to coordinate everything with vendors, resorts, and guests (it reduced SO much stress). Below is a breakdown on how the process worked with Tracy.

When my now husband and I were looking to get married outside the US the entire process felt overwhelming. We stumbled across Tracy's page here and immediately were impressed by the photos of her weddings and quick response. I initially reached out to several planners and Tracy responded immediately and was able to meet with us via Zoom within the week (while some of the others I couldn't meet with for a few weeks and were far less responsive via email). For our initial meeting we talked about our general thoughts about our wedding, budget, general guest count, what we were looking for in a planner, and just about us as a couple. She was able to quickly come up with a quote for her services (which was very reasonable, and worth EVERY penny!). She didn't pressure us, but we knew immediately this was the right fit!

From there, we filled out a very detailed survey with more specific preferences and ideas about things like preferred dates and locations, all inclusive vs not, family friendly vs adults only, large resort vs boutique, our budget, what we want our guests to spend per night, beach vs tropical, night life options, etc. that she used to create an incredible presentation of different options of resorts and dates for our event (I think she presented about 5 or 6 different detailed options). She contacted all of these resorts to confirm dates of availability and was able to give honest pros and cons to each choice (even helping us to consider things like weather in certain times of year, costs of vendors depending on location, extra fees that different resorts charge, what their packages include with a quote, distance from airport, room types, and SO many other important notes to consider). We chose the Valentin Imperial Riveria Maya (she has done many weddings here-- even several between the time we booked her and our wedding). She coordinated the contracts and payments with the resort and all vendors.

She made our wedding website and helped us get our save the dates out. She helped get all of our guests booked through our block (as required by the resort) and answer all their questions. She was very responsive to both us and our guests. She even would talk through booking on the phone with some of our guests who needed help.

We met via Zoom about once a month (a little more frequent when we got closer) to create our vision board, decide on vendors, talk about design, etc. She made it so easy for us by presenting us with lots of options about all the elements and vendors we can consider including in our weekend (ex: offered us several available photographers with samples and costs or extra reception entertainment options and their pros and cons). She was the primary contact to all vendors which made it SO easy for us. She has long relationships with a lot of the people and companies she works with and was able to get us lots of “extras” for us. She was an incredible negotiator for us, and certainly got us the best deals and highest quality vendors! She kept us organized by providing us with updates of her work and lists of what we needed to do to stay on track. She helped put together a timeline that kept things running smoothly!

She has an incredible eye for design. We used her services for a lot of our design elements including invitations, guest hotel bags, printwork (like menus, welcome cards, etc.). We collaborated using Pinterest and mood boards for the overall feel and elements we liked. We got to see proofs for everything and make any adjustments we wanted.

When it came time for the wedding she went down to the resort a day before us to meet with some of the vendors and ensure things were set for our arrival. She greeted us at the resort and set us up with some very thoughtful touches! She helped to greet all of our guests and get them their giftbags and ensure easy check in. We had a couple brief meetings and check ins during the week and had plenty of time to enjoy the resort. She helped communicate with the resort coordinators to ensure we got the best set up possible, and that all of our preferences were taken into account. She helped ensure our guests were well taken care of– even when issues popped up during the week. She also coordinated our welcome party-- including dinner, signature cocktails, a churro cart, and a private set up just for our party. The day of the event she was busy getting everything set up and coordinating with all of the vendors and resort coordinators. She kept in contact with me and gave me any needed updates, but took care of so many things I’m sure I never even knew were concerns!

The event itself was beautiful and everything we could’ve dreamed of. We got (and continue to get) SO many compliments on our wedding and reception from our guests. Many of them said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! Although I’m biased, I agree it was the best wedding I’ve ever been to! The decorations, the entertainment, the location, the smooth flow of the day, the detailed touches, and so much more came together so perfectly.

She also helped coordinate our "minimoon" directly after the wedding weekend at Secrets Impressions Moxche. We wanted to wait for a bigger honeymoon later this year but having some time to decompress and unwind at this luxury resort was AMAZING! We gave her our budget, wishes, requests, and top priorities and she presented us with a wide range of options for our desired dates. It was incredible and again, we felt SO taken care of!

I feel so lucky to have worked with Tracy, and feel lucky to now consider her a friend! We look forward to using her as a travel agent for future trips and recommending her to anyone that is considering a destination wedding!

We worked with Tracy for our destination wedding at SLS Playa Mujeres in November 2025 and appreciated her support throughout the planning process as well as with coordinating the logistics of the wedding day itself. From beginning to the wedding day everything was handled perfectly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I told Tracy what I envisioned and she pulled it all together for me. She has great relationships with the best vendors and I trusted her judgement. Tracy is wonderful and I am very confident that without her, our Destination wedding would not have been the huge success that it was. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, I knew that I wanted to have a destination wedding but had no idea where to start with choosing the right resort. When I started to investigate different resorts and considered touring properties, I was quickly overwhelmed by the different options and amount of cost and time it would take to decide and coordinate a wedding that my guests would love without going insane. Tracy has the expertise unlike anyone else I found when I was originally searching for a planner and it was wonderful to have that in my corner throughout the wedding planning process. Instead of spending hours and hours researching and coordinating with vendors, I had monthly calls with Tracy where she would present me with options and all I had to do was provide feedback and select from the all-great options that she provided. Tracy coordinates all of the guest travel which was a lifesaver for me, as when my guests asked miscellaneous questions, I was able to direct them to her. There are so many details that go into coordinating travel for a group of 50 including so many questions from individual guests that Tracy handled flawlessly. Everyone had such a great time and I've been asked multiple times when we're all going on our next trip together since they all had such a wonderful time at the wedding. Tracy also comes to the venue to help execute on the actual wedding weekend and this was invaluable to ensuring that everything ran smoothly. For example, the day that Tracy arrived she realized that the location for our welcome party would get very buggy at night and was able to work with the venue to move dinner inside all without me having to do anything. It is so helpful that she is working directly with the resort, as I would never have considered so many of the things the she helped us to execute and coordinate, and resolved little issues as soon as they came up. I would recommend Tracy and the French Connection Events to any Bride looking to plan a destination wedding - I could not have had such a successful event without her help and am truly grateful for all of the work that she did to make our wedding so special.

Tracy absolutely delivered when it came to our wedding day (week) We chose Cabo on her recomendation for our destination & we could not be more pleased with the Lux experience provided to our guests and us. Casa Del Mar was incredible! Tracy has curated some really special relationships with her vendors over the years and it definitely shows. Planning a wedding in a different country is no easy task, but with her expertise we felt secure in our choices. She was so responsive throughout the whole year and a half of planning we did. I'm a HUGE foodie and this was something I was stressed about being we had never tasted it or seen the resort ourselves. ( I work for a luxury resort, my standards can be unattainable at times) I had a slight fear it wouldn't live up to our expectations and it absolutely surpassed it. A whole new level of stress being responsible for everyone you love & their experience as well. Her research is second to none. I think its really important to be lined up with the perfect person/ planner based on your personality and desires. Tracy has a very large job to do and a timeline to abide by, giving her these reigns is one of the best choices we made. She was the perfect fit for us and I would reccomend her services 1000x over. Tracy truly did an exceptional job of planning the destination wedding of our dreams. My now husband and I both have demanding careers and aren’t so good at event planning. So none of this would have been possible without her. Not only did she put together a beautiful and memorable wedding but planned and executed a luxurious vacation for our closest friends and family. Her attention to detail and ability to accommodate some more challenging aspects of our needs and family are deeply appreciated. I highly recommend Tracy French if you are planning a destination wedding. She took care of Avery thing. As mother of the bride, all I had to do was show up and enjoy the resort. She is meticulous and extremely organized. For a stress free occasion, you need Tracy French to run your event.
