I first met lulu as a bridesmaid when she planned my cousin's wedding. She and her team were so professional and friendly and seemed totally in control that I just knew who to call when it was my turn to get married. She handled everything from helping us select our venues, plannning, and helping us come up with a beautiful look, to making sure me and my girls had a fun relaxing day getting ready before the wedding. She gave us such a feeeling of calm, that everything was being taken care of that our entire wedding week was so stress-free. That was really the greatest feeling to just enjoy ourselves with all our friends and family in town. She did such a great job that she's also planning my sister's wedding next year!

Lulu is a rockstar who made everything so easy for us! She helped us pick the best vendors and make good decisions every step of the way. She was a life-saver when we had to postpone our wedding by a year focusing on the positive and helping us negotiate with most of the contracts we already signed for the original date. We expected that to be such a nightmare but with Lulu's help and expertise it ended up being pretty painless. She is so committed and professional and such a calm demeanor she puts you at ease! She helped us get over all the bumps in the road and ultimately our wedding day was FANTASTIC. Can't thank her enough for all her patience and hard work.

The day was flawless thanks to Lulu and her team. We didn’t have to lift a finger and she kept us calm despite the rain in the forecast. So glad we took her advice to include a 2nd line parade even though our group was small. Money well spent. Best day of our lives!

On the morning of our wedding Lulu sent over a bottle of champagne with a note that said it was going to be the best day ever and it was sooo true!

We had almost 200 guests coming from around the country and many also internationally and we wanted to create a fun weekend sharing all the things we love about New Orleans. Lulu had so many great ideas like a fun crawfish boil welcome for our guests with a ferry across the river, a swamp tour, golf, ghost tour, our rehearsal dinner, a farewell brunch and of course, our amazing wedding!

There were so many details and moving parts yet she was always on top of everything. She knew where all our guests were staying and even helped fixed a couple messed up hotel reservations. She was so patient and organized and the girls on her team were the sweetest. At every event there was always someone from her team there to make sure everything was in place and show us what to do. I especially loved having her bridal attendant with me during prep on our wedding day keeping us on schedule, she even went on a coffee run for us and helped to make sure everything we needed got onto the buses and into the wedding reception. Those little details help make your day so much easier and I really wouldn't have thought of them on my own.

The wedding itself was perfect, everything we had envisioned and more. Of course we are biased but we think it was the most beautiful wedding ever and yet so much fun. Truly was the best day ever!

My review is so long overdue but I can’t thank LuLu enough for all that she did for us. My then-fiancé and I were both in law school when we were planning our wedding and we were completely overwhelmed—we were getting nowhere with even picking a venue and dates were disappearing quickly because October is so popular for weddings in New Orleans. The manager at one of the places we called suggested we give Weddings By LuLu a call and what a great idea that turned out to be! LuLu is a former lawyer herself and she right away understood the kind of pressure we were under. She got a feel for the kind of venue we were looking for and within a few days sent us a list of places with available dates and details and more importantly, her notes and inside knowledge. She got holds on our top 3 picks and and then set up a time for us to visit on a rare afternoon off a couple weeks later. I can’t tell you the feeling of relief of just having a plan for how to get started and for someone to narrow things down for us to a bearable volume. After visiting the three venues we could see how insightful LuLu was. They were all great matches and with her guidance it was easy picking ‘the one’. From there, it was smooth sailing the whole way. LuLu provided us with a planning timeline, vendor recommendations, budget guidance, handled vendor questions, hotel blocks, welcome bags and even planned our complicated extended rehearsal dinner and welcome cocktail party. Her team handled the flowers, decor, all our rentals—it was like magic the way it all came together! We had several divorced/remarried parents and she handled everyone tactfully and gracefully. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and was better than we even could have imagined. We would recommend Weddings By LuLu without hesitation and LuLu has our heartfelt thanks for a day we’ll herons always.

Lulu and her team’s can-do attitude was exactly what we needed when planning our wedding. Planning from 7 hours away was initially stressful but Lulu eliminated all of that from our very first meeting. We initially contacted Lulu to plan our New Orleans destination wedding but eventually changed our minds and decided on a destination wedding in the Caribbean. Lulu was absolutely AMAZING!! She switched gears easily and planned a destination wedding weekend for us and our 42 guests at a gorgeous resort in Jamaica. We did everything through email and photos and Lulu never steered us wrong! It was a dream weekend, we will never forget.

I love Lulu!! She is amazing and if it were not for her, my wedding would not have been as amazing as it was. I am so happy with how everything turned out and Lulu knows exactly what to do and how to keep everything on track. I was definitely a major worrier when it came to the wedding so it was so helpful to have Lulu in my corner. My husband and I lived and got married in New Orleans, but most of our guests were from out of town and since Lulu has done so many destination weddings, she knew exactly what we needed to make our out of town guests feel comfortable. 100% recommend!!

We visit New Orleans a lot. When it came time to plan our wedding, we knew it had to be in the French Quarter. We found Weddings by Lulu online and are very happy that we had lulu helping us navigate the planning of the big day. All of the vendor recommendations were perfect! Lulu met us and we toured various venues and found the perfect place. The photographer, the cake, the hair and makeup and the officiant were all perfect. All of the guests said that if was the best wedding to which they had ever been. The second line was great! Lulu made sure that everything was well coordinated and during the craziness of the big day we didn't have to worry about the details. Everything went perfectly.
