PK Weddings and Events New Orleans

From the moment we contacted Kristen, we knew we'd chosen the right planner for our elopement in New Orleans. We never waited more than a couple of hours for her to respond -- and believe me when I say I emailed, texted, and called a LOT! She found the perfect venue (and obtained permits), made meal reservations before and after the ceremony, and created the best itinerary. She even included our pups in the ceremony! The only thing we had to do was get the license when we arrived. It was magical! Thank you to the whole team: Kimberly Quinlivin for the breathtaking wildflowers bouquet, Marcia at Ibay Photography for the beautiful photos throughout the park (I tear up every time I look at them), Joy Fragola who spent so much time helping with the ceremony and our vows, Terry Monk for the stunning and delicious cake (she recreated the wildflowers from my bouquet!), and to Julia Akers, the very lovely and talented violinist for completing the perfection of that day. I can't thank Kristen and PK Events enough. So yeah! We loved everything and highly recommend them.

Kristen and her team did an amazing job with planning my destination wedding! I really appreciated the fact that Kristen didn't mind going to the store to purchase a shawl for unexpectedly cold weather on my wedding day. I love her attention to detail! Our daughter wanted to elope to New Orleans (living in CA) and when I started the process on my own (as the mother) I was overwhelmed. I reached out to a few wedding planners in NOLA and finally signed on with PK Weddings and was soooooo happy I did. Kristen worked closely with us in making this a memorable event (even with the Hurricane welcome we received). If you want something done right--hire Kristen at PK Weddings. She will NOT disappoint.

Kristen and her team with PK Events were amazing. I am a anxious person and even more so as a bride, and her team made everything so much easier and took away much of that anxiety. I use all of her suggested vendors from cake, violinist, photography, restaurant, and hair and make up and they were all fantastic as well. Our wedding went perfectly. We were able to actually breathe and enjoy our day and our friends and family. If you are indeed of a Wedding /Event Planner, PK Events is the way to go! They offer several different packages as well to suit any of your needs/wedding plans!!

Kristen and the team is amazing. We were blown away by their service the day of our event. They just consistently went above and beyond. Kristen is super knowledgeable, organized, and professional. She was very helpful in planning a complicated post-reception transportation to take my party of 50 to get beignets. When I started stressing ahead of the ceremony, she was on top of making things run smoothly and reassuring me. We selected a package with Canal St. Inn and had such a lovely day. It was nice to not have to select any vendors. Everyone Kristen works with is amazing, we were so happy with the florals, music, officiant, and cake. Definitely check PK events out when you're considering a destination or elopement!

If you are planning a wedding, Kristen and her entire team are the answer to all your wedding planning prayers! We planned our wedding day at the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans. Every detail was tended to, every box was checked and every picture was perfect. When we had questions or requests, Kristen was always quick and efficient with responding. Our second line was a core memory for not only us, but all of our guests as well and has been bragged about by all our family and friends. My floral dreams came true with Florals by Kimberly, and we had a delicious cake made by Terry at Chez RuRene Bakery. Our wonderful wedding weekend was made possible with the help Kristen and her team and I would suggest her services to anyone and everyone! You want Kristen and her team to help you plan your wedding!

A year ahead of our wedding, we travelled to New Orleans (from Houston, TX) in search of a venue; when we found The Canal Street Inn, we were thrilled but when we learned about the PK Events wedding package option, we were just beside ourselves with glee! We met with Kristen of PK Events during that trip and very quickly felt confident that our event would be a success, and that Kristen, along with her team would take care of every little detail for us, and they did!

Our wedding was smallish, 40 guests all told and so we chose the Destination Wedding package (package for 16-50 people), the package included all of the various components that you’d ever want for a wedding, and the vendors to provide those components… Officiant, photographer, cake, bouquet/boutonnière, champagne and even a violinist! Possibly, most invaluable of all, (especially to us living out of town and having a destination wedding!) Wedding Planner Services!! Kristen was wonderful, she stayed in regular contact with us throughout the year until our wedding date, communicating (via email and then phone and in person, closer to the time) as much as we needed, she was responsive, knowledgeable, patient and always available whenever we had a question or a thought!

The biggest challenge for us was relinquishing all responsibility and having someone else handle the details, but we’re so pleased that we did, and we need not have been concerned at all. The PK Events team was amazing from beginning to end; we highly recommend PK Events to anyone planning a New Orleans wedding. Kristen, Kim, Marcia, Joy, Scherri, Terry, N’Awlins Ramblers, and Iuliia, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your passion, your dedication and your creativity. Each of you played a major part in making our day personal, unique and unforgettable!

I honestly have no idea what I would have done without Kristen! She was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to helping me plan my destination wedding at The New Orleans Pharmacy Museum! Everything turned out so perfect and I truly have her to thank for it. If there any brides out there right now that are looking for a wedding planner, I highly recommend Kristen.
