Lisa / Hallowed Ground Productions provided so much peace of mind in the absolutely mind-boggling lead-up to our wedding. After having to part ways with another planner who had not been proactive, leaving us in the lurch six months before our destination wedding, Lisa came recommended by the event coordinator at one of our venues (I believe her exact description of Lisa was: "one of the only wedding planners who knows what they're doing" lol). Thankfully, Lisa was available, and we truly felt like we'd found a port in the storm hiring her. She was incredibly diligent, personable, accessible (even personally picked up gifts for our wedding party!) and knew exactly what we needed on a tight timeline. Especially planning from afar, this was invaluable. The day-of coordination was exceptional — our wedding party commented to us there wasn't a single thing that went wrong or off-schedule the entire day, which they attributed to Lisa’s clear direction and poise (she even humored us by making a cameo in our wedding reception photos!) We can't fathom the amount of time and effort Lisa / HGP saved us by simply being exactly who we needed exactly when we needed her!

We could not recommend Lisa and Hallowed productions more! She's incredibly thorough in planning ahead so there were no headaches. Many of our guests have been telling us we had the perfect wedding and that is all thanks to the team at Hallowed Ground. 11/10 !!!

There are so many wonderful things to say about Lisa and Hallowed Ground Productions that I don’t even know where to begin! Hiring Lisa was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. Everything - and I mean everything - went absolutely seamlessly on the day of and that is because of Lisa and her team. I have actually been trying to think of something that went wrong, and I still have not been able to think of a single thing. We were planning a destination wedding in New Orleans, so we were not local to the area. Right from the beginning, Lisa was so knowledgeable about local vendors, helped steer us in the right direction, and always gave us expert advice along the way. There were so many moving pieces that it would have been extremely easy to get overwhelmed, but each month when we had our scheduled calls with Lisa I always felt a million times better and excited more than anything! On the day of our wedding, Lisa and her team quite literally handled everything from start to finish. She created a timeline down to the minute and wrangled people to make sure they were in the right place when they needed to be. Neither myself, my husband, or any of our family members or wedding party had to lift a finger on our wedding day and that is entirely because of Lisa and her team. She handled the arrival of all of our vendors, set up our ceremony and reception exactly how I had envisioned, and made sure everything ran exactly as it should until the event ended. Lisa did such an amazing job that I didn’t even realize that half of our vendors had arrived until I saw them set up and fully in place. I was able to fully enjoy and be present on my wedding day, without having to worry about any of the little details and I will forever be thankful to Lisa for that. Not only is Lisa a best-in-the-biz wedding planner, but she is also a truly wonderful person to have around on your day. She is so calm and just a fun a person to have around on your big day. I am honestly going to miss getting to talk to Lisa once a month during our calls! If you are debating whether or not to hire Lisa and Hallowed Ground Productions for your wedding, I can say that you will absolutely not regret your decision one bit if you hire her.

Lisa was amazing! We hired her as our month-of coordinator and truly couldn't have done it without her. We had our ceremony at a friend's home and then the reception at a restaurant, and she handled all of the location changes, decor and logistics with ease, plus helped us find and hire our second-line band. We had initially decided to not hire a planner, but as we got closer to the big day we realized that we wanted our friends and family to be able to celebrate with us, instead of feeling stressed about helping with everything that needed to be done. Lisa came in about halfway through our planning process and helped us achieve our vision! I would highly recommend her for any event!

Where to start?! If you're on the fence at all about booking with Lisa, DON'T BE. This is hands down the best investment we made for our wedding. We do not live in NOLA, so it was "destination" for us, as well as our guests. That, combined with the fact that neither of us are planners, was a recipe for...well, disaster. Not only did Lisa take over basically everything the month leading up to the wedding, she was constantly available for questions and feedback. We visited NOLA with our parents in early 2023 to tour the venue, and Lisa met with us there without hesitation to get a feel for the space. Somewhere along the way (after locking in several contracts) we decided to move our ceremony up by 1 hour to account for daylight and COMPLETELY forgot to update those vendors we had already secured. Lisa caught it well before we did, and got it all sorted out seamlessly without us even realizing! The week leading up to ceremony, there was a dreaded rain forecast for the entire day - Lisa worked really hard in the days leading up to make adjustments with various vendors to execute the rain plan. She made sure that all of the things we personally brought - the things we had put so much time and effort into - were in place and ready to go for the big day. This was huge because if it were not for her, we would have lost or forgotten to put those things out all together. It seems like there are a million things she and her team did the day of - big and small - that helped it all go so smoothly, it feels impossible to list them all here.

All I can say is that several times now, we have said to each other "I miss Lisa, are we just supposed to never talk to her or see her again?!" - so, let that be a testament to the quality of person and business owner she is!

I discovered Lisa the week of my wedding. In only 5 days, she knew everything that needed to happen. My family, my husband, and I all agree that she was worth every penny and more. There's a picture of us on the last page of my wedding album because she made everything happen without any issues. I know I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day because of Lisa. I can't thank her enough!

Lisa possesses a power to help folks stay calm and relaxed during events. From big projects to small ones, she can handle it all like a real pro. She works with excellent vendors, and is great at being hands-on.
