If you're looking for an unusual but beautiful venue, this place is it. Our wedding started at 5:30 when it was still light and ended about 10:30, and the visual appeal of the museum just became more romantic as the evening went on. The place is beautifully lit so it's very atmospheric. The staff were great and made everything run so smoothly. They made some excellent recommendations for caterers and we used one of them and were extremely happy with them. The museum were very helpful and accommodating with all the questions we had and made sure our day was a day to remember. We didn't have to think about a thing the day of the wedding. The best compliment I can give the staff is that we hardly knew they were there and it all went off without a hitch.Sent on 09/18/2016

This was the first venue we looked at, and we immediately knew it was where we were going to get married. Working with Christine and Rebecca was so easy. We felt like they were friends of ours by the end of the night. They answered all our questions along the way and helped make sure the night was the best night of our lives. The museum was gorgeous and all our guests were in awe of it. It was such a unique and one of a kind space to have our wedding. We had the ceremony on the front stairs and then had the double doors open and the wedding party and guests entered through there. We do highly recommend having uplighting done. It added that extra wow factor to an already amazing space. We will never forget this magical night at a magical venue.Sent on 04/27/2016

We booked two years early, shortly before the venue price nearly doubled. However, even at the current price, it would have been well worth it. The venue is a distinct space, and all of the guests loved it. Our wedding had a Doctor Who theme, so the architecture and machines fit perfectly with the theme.Sent on 11/11/2015
When we booked, we worked primarily with Christine, who was an absolute delight--incredibly flexible, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited about our vision. Later in the process, our event manager was Chris, who was also great to work with. They were very accommodating of our more out-there requests, and kept everything running smoothl
I've photographed many times at the Waterworks Museum and absolutely love the space. It is absolutely one of the most unique and beautiful venues in Boston and I love that the income from the weddings supports the museum and preservation of the historic property. I look forward to working here again soon!
The Waterworks Museum is an amazing place for weddings and events. The historical machinery and architecture create an versatile atmosphere that could compliment rustic, modern, steampunk or chic themes easily. Plus their event coordinator is incredible.
