    Beautiful, unique venue!

This was the perfect venue for our wedding! It's such a unique, different space, that really fit us as a couple. Rebecca (events manager) was wonderful to work with. She was professional, fun and enthusiastic, and super flexible for meetings and vendor walk-throughs. I would highly recommend the museum for anyone looking for a special, non-traditional event space. It doesn't require a lot of extra decoration as the engines themselves are incredible!

A Fabulous and Memorable Wedding Experience

We rented the Waterworks Museum for our June 2022 wedding and reception venue, and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The venue itself is stunning, with a distinct look and feel that is difficult to find anywhere else. Rebecca Lawyer, the events manager, was professional, kind, and easy to work with and understood the space well. This space is best used for smaller weddings under 90-100 guests, and can start to become challenging to design around beyond that.

We had a ceremony outside of the waterworks which worked beautifully and a lively, gorgeous reception inside. We did not use the upstairs space. The Waterworks is a beautiful space, a hidden gem, and a piece of history in the Chestnut Hill area. We strongly recommend this gorgeous and memorable venue.

    Amazing, Unique and Perfect Venue

The Waterworks Museum was our dream wedding venue! Rebecca (events manager) and the entire team at Waterworks were phenomenal to work with! We can not say enough good things about Rebecca, she made the entire process so easy and was always accessible. This is such a unique venue and a very cool, industrial spot. Amazing for pictures and perfect for a couple who doesn't want the traditional country club vibe. Waterworks Museum made it possible for us to really personalize our entire wedding experience.

I've photographed many times at the Waterworks Museum and absolutely love the space. It is absolutely one of the most unique and beautiful venues in Boston and I love that the income from the weddings supports the museum and preservation of the historic property. I look forward to working here again soon!

The Waterworks Museum is an amazing place for weddings and events. The historical machinery and architecture create an versatile atmosphere that could compliment rustic, modern, steampunk or chic themes easily. Plus their event coordinator is incredible.
