We hired Verde's to cater our wedding this past November at the LBJ Wildflower Center and it was truly one of the best choices we made. Alanna and Cody are true professionals who personally ensure that your event will be perfect down to the smallest detail.
My husband and I tested out numerous other caterers prior to choosing Verde's and what particularly stood out to us was how personal the experience was with Cody and Alanna compared to the corporate feeling we received with others.
One thing we focused on throughout the process was being intentional with our choices and Verde's made that easy for us.

Not only did their team do a fantastic job on the day of our wedding, Cody and Alanna were both personally there as well to calmly handle details, answer questions, and ensure that the food was better than any our guests had ever had at an event.

If you are looking for a caterer who treats you like family AND makes incredible food, Verde's is it! As a wedding designer & planner, they are my go-to catering team. The food is always consistently amazing, and their staff is professional, kind, and always helpful when my clients or I need assistance in anything. Alanna knows how to put together a great menu that won't keep your guests happy, but will also add a unique flair to your wedding. If you have not been in for a tasting yet, Chef Cody is quite helpful and fun to be around. You get to go over the entire catering menu of their impeccable food options, and also get advice for your wedding that you may not have considered before! I cannot thank this team enough for all that they have done for my previous clients and all they will do for future clients!

Verdes did an awesome job! They worked with us on the menu and prepared mac & cheese balls as an appetizer which wasn't even on the catering menu... they were delicious! They were affordable and very professional. We received so many compliments on how great the food tasted! Oh and the chocolate churros were SOOOO GOOD!! Thank You! Highly recommend.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. My husband and I were married this past March 19, 2022 and Verdes Parilla/Bliss Catering catered our wedding. From the very beginning Cody and Alana were so helpful. Cody brought us in for a free tasting, and was very helpful in offering us advice on what really matters in a wedding dinner, those things that we didn’t need to spend extra money on, and how to expedite getting guests through a buffet line. The Mexican food was super tasty, but when we mentioned that we are trying to choose between Mexican and Texas BBQ they let us know about their catering company called Bliss that serves BBQ. We looked at a couple other places just to have some options, but ended coming back to Verdes/Bliss because they were so genuine in dealing with us, offered the free tasting dinner (plus we came back for some free BBQ to taste), and we could tell they were going to be able to handle our difficult venue. As a side note, our venue was an outdoor ranch that did not have a kitchen, oven, or freezer, so it required a lot of extra effort on the part of a caterer. Alana was so helpful and communicative the entire time we were planning our menu and went back and forth on a number of iterations of the contract. They were very accommodating when dealing with our bar tenders too and bringing items they needed. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by their professionalism. Everything was set up perfectly and ran so smoothly and on time. And the food was AMAZING! It was a perfect fusion of Texas BBQ and Mexican. So many guests told us afterward how good the food was, and my brother still raves about their nacho bar. I would definitely go with Bliss again for another event, and highly recommend them to anyone for any event!

I am a planner in the area and this was my first time working with Verdes for one of my couples. The entire experience was great and owner Alanna was helpful from start to finish. Even with multiple contacts involved, Alanna accommodated any last minute changes with a smile on her face. Her and her staff were professional, friendly, and the food was so flavorful. They all worked so hard from the moment they arrive for setup, through the end of the evening for breakdown. I will definitely be suggesting Verdes in the future for other clients. Highly recommend Alanna and her team if you are looking for a quality full-service caterer for your wedding or special event.

We hired Verde’s for our son’s wedding in June 2020 at Star Hill Ranch in Austin, TX. Alanna was wonderful from the initial tasting to the execution of the event. And boy did we have challenges with the constant COVID 19 changes! Alanna always remained calm and creative – answering our concerns and providing great ideas for tasty food - the bacon wrapped quail is to die for - and exemplary service – pulling off fun food for our after party when the hotel bar was closed the day of our event! Verde’s helped create a wonderful wedding day for our son and his bride – food with flair and service that is second to none!

The entire team at Verde's was amazing throughout our 1.5 year engagement. From the very start, Alanna was so patient with my questions and helpful at recommending dishes, flatware or linens for the event.

The food was DELICIOUS! We had a lot of people come up to us at the wedding and after remarking on how good the food was, totally unprompted. Of all the different caterers we tried, Verde's was the most affordable and tasted the best. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or next event!

They came highly recommended by our day of coordinator and they did not disappoint. Alanna was a pleasure to work with and the food was AMAZING. We still have our guests reminding us of how delicious the food was. From the tasting to the final clean up, the staff was great. The pricing includes total service...they set all the place settings for the reception and helped consolidate all of the table decor at the end of the night. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND their food and service!!

Verde's provided the catering for our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner, and we could not be more thrilled with the quality of the food and service.
