If you are looking for a caterer who treats you like family AND makes incredible food, Verde's is it! As a wedding designer & planner, they are my go-to catering team. The food is always consistently amazing, and their staff is professional, kind, and always helpful when my clients or I need assistance in anything. Alanna knows how to put together a great menu that won't keep your guests happy, but will also add a unique flair to your wedding. If you have not been in for a tasting yet, Chef Cody is quite helpful and fun to be around. You get to go over the entire catering menu of their impeccable food options, and also get advice for your wedding that you may not have considered before! I cannot thank this team enough for all that they have done for my previous clients and all they will do for future clients! -

Verdes did an awesome job! They worked with us on the menu and prepared mac & cheese balls as an appetizer which wasn't even on the catering menu... they were delicious! They were affordable and very professional. We received so many compliments on how great the food tasted! Oh and the chocolate churros were SOOOO GOOD!! Thank You! Highly recommend. -

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. My husband and I were married this past March 19, 2022 and Verdes Parilla/Bliss Catering catered our wedding. From the very beginning Cody and Alana were so helpful. Cody brought us in for a free tasting, and was very helpful in offering us advice on what really matters in a wedding dinner, those things that we didn’t need to spend extra money on, and how to expedite getting guests through a buffet line. The Mexican food was super tasty, but when we mentioned that we are trying to choose between Mexican and Texas BBQ they let us know about their catering company called Bliss that serves BBQ. We looked at a couple other places just to have some options, but ended coming back to Verdes/Bliss because they were so genuine in dealing with us, offered the free tasting dinner (plus we came back for some free BBQ to taste), and we could tell they were going to be able to handle our difficult venue. As a side note, our venue was an outdoor ranch that did not have a kitchen, oven, or freezer, so it required a lot of extra effort on the part of a caterer. Alana was so helpful and communicative the entire time we were planning our menu and went back and forth on a number of iterations of the contract. They were very accommodating when dealing with our bar tenders too and bringing items they needed. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by their professionalism. Everything was set up perfectly and ran so smoothly and on time. And the food was AMAZING! It was a perfect fusion of Texas BBQ and Mexican. So many guests told us afterward how good the food was, and my brother still raves about their nacho bar. I would definitely go with Bliss again for another event, and highly recommend them to anyone for any event! -

We hired Verde’s for our son’s wedding in June 2020 at Star Hill Ranch in Austin, TX. Alanna was wonderful from the initial tasting to the execution of the event. And boy did we have challenges with the constant COVID 19 changes! Alanna always remained calm and creative – answering our concerns and providing great ideas for tasty food - the bacon wrapped quail is to die for - and exemplary service – pulling off fun food for our after party when the hotel bar was closed the day of our event! Verde’s helped create a wonderful wedding day for our son and his bride – food with flair and service that is second to none!

However, when we were looking for a caterer for our daughter's wedding, he said that he didn't need a tasting anywhere but Verde's. They catered a wedding we had previously attended and the food was fantastic. We had a tasting and Chef Cody sat with us for much of the meal which made the evening such a wonderful memory! Alanna is their catering manager and she is excellent at her job. She gave me great advice on food as well as items that she wasn't responsible for...such as amount of alcohol to purchase. When we ran out of beer, she took it upon herself to run and purchase for us! That was so kind of her. Another side benefit to Verde's is that they will rent items needed under their agreement so I didn't have to hire another vendor. We heard more than once that our food was the best our guests had ever had at a wedding. Verde's just opened a second location in Round Rock! -
User2193128 Sent on 06/23/2015This restaurant is WONDERFUL! And the staff are a huge part of the greatness. Krista and Cody did a phenomenal job with our rehearsal lunch! The food was outstanding, service was personal and very friendly. Verde's was referred to us by another vendor and we are so happy that we took the advice. We had about 15 guests at the lunch and Krista/Cody put together the perfect menu, accommodating special diets and food requests without a problem. They kept everyone is a happy mood, and even opened the restaurant to us before they opened for the day so we could have a private event. Again, everything was just above and beyond. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! -
User1692501 Sent on 07/02/2014I love Verde's! Alanna was so responsive and worked with our venue to figure out details. She helped us find ways to cut costs while still executing our ideal reception. They handled all the rentals for us with no additional mark up and even shopped around for the lowest price on the rentals. The food was incredible to the point where after I'm still hearing compliments and several guests have gone to their restaurant for dinner. -

Cody, Alanna, and team, thank you for taking a chance on our concept and creating something fabulous! The food was exquisite, and we got nothing but compliments on it. You rock! We will be back for dinner sometime soon.
We hired Verdes for our April 2022 wedding at Star Hill Ranch. We are mostly vegetarian but I am from Texas, so we wanted to create a totally vegetarian menu that still highlighted Texan and Mexican cuisine, and Verdes did not disappoint! They worked with us on multiple options during our tasting, and everybody mentioned they enjoyed the food the day-of. The churro bar at the end of the night was perfect. -

Outstanding, Quality Food, Incredible Staff, and More!
My husband and I were very excited to work with Verde's for our wedding this past February here in Austin. From the beginning, they were very flexible, giving us a private tasting during COVID times, and willing to work with us on all of our rental needs. The staff at Verde's, especially Alanna, helped us out immensely. I felt like I didn't need to lift a finger the day of the wedding, they took care of everything.
We had some last minute problems we ran into--as do all weddings, I suppose, haha--but they were extremely flexible and efficient. Not only is the food delicious, but also everything looks good to eat! They cleaned up in a timely manner, and all staff was extremely pleasant to our guests. Thank you Verde's! -
