Kim and CJ helped plan our wedding, from the big-time vendors to the fine details like what snacks to have at the after-party. They were very attentive and responsive and met all of our needs. They even took away the stress of the day of, helping keep everything in line. We wouldn't have had our magical day without the help of these two amazing people.

The weekend of our wedding, Kim and CJ were absolutely incredible. They coordinated with all of our vendors, ensuring everything was loaded in and set up smoothly. They worked hand in glove with the awesome staff of our venue, Wylder Windham. We were in awe as it all came together. We felt like we could truly relax and enjoy the weekend with our guests.


Throughout the weekend, Kim and CJ anticipated our every need and paid attention to so many details we weren’t even aware of. They were so invested in giving us and our guests a great experience and we felt their care, attention, and support at every turn.

Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff.

Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was!

On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests.

Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent.

On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly!

In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!

We were initially on the fence about working with a wedding planner, but hiring VNE was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. My husband and I both agree that our entire wedding weekend far exceeded our wildest dreams, and it's 100% thanks to Kim. She handled EVERYTHING from vendors, contracts, timelines, set-up, rain plans, my many many emails, and even my husbands very last minute requests. She is organized, solution oriented, kind, knowledgeable, and fun to work with.

Kim went above and beyond the 'full-wedding planner' scope by literally building our escort board from scratch and planting gorgeous flowers into terracotta pots for us to use throughout the weekend.

The real test of a truly great wedding planner comes down to the execution on wedding day (or for us, wedding weekend). We were able to be totally present and stress free all weekend because Kim handled everything. She coordinated with all of our vendors, answered our families questions, and kept the schedule on track so we could have the time of our lives. I also want to shout out Ivana, who was part of the VNE ‘weekend of team,’ for quickly becoming my hype woman/best friend/sidekick that was always a step ahead of me.

Kim & CJ are the best of the best. When we first started planning our wedding we knew we wanted the best of the best there by our sides. Kim was there every-step of the way, planning timelines, budget outlines, vendor recommendations, and even mood/ vision boards. They truly kept us so organized along the way and made our vendors feel at ease walking into our wedding weekend. Kim & CJ are delightful as people, but were woefully underprepared for our weekend - and unapologetic about it.

Despite hiring VNE to take over partial planning and coordination six months out from our wedding after four years of planning, VNE dropped the ball on coordination and left us, the bride and groom, to course correct all weekend.

Our wedding was non-traditional and bicultural at a campground with a blank canvas. We designed every last detail of the design, creating a document guiding vendors through the details of the weekend. The document was not perfect (we aren't wedding planners), but comprehensive. And that document was the only one that some of our vendors - such as the venue, photographer, and videographer - received; VNE never sent a timeline or any background to them. But had VNE, it would have been incongruous with what we sent since several items in VNE's timeline were wrong despite multiple corrections; their version also didn't highlight the moments most important to us, ultimately impacting our weekend.

This was avoidable. VNE declined joining our final walk through despite offering a virtual option, did not initiate regular calls with us, did not ask questions about that planning document until after the welcome dinner, did not review our photo/video forms, and did not heed our warnings about managing difficult personalities at the wedding. VNE cut us out of communication with vendors despite us asking to remain on emails, resulting in incorrect orders/counts. VNE were understaffed for the scope of the event and did not respect the expertise of other vendors who knew us and our event better. (And thankfully the other vendors did, for it was they who carried the weekend - and allowed us to relive it in a much better way through the video and photo work.)

This resulted in several missed aspects from not signing the nikkah during our ceremony to messing up TWO grand entrances, shifting the location of our post-wedding portraits, and denying the groom and mother of the bride access to participate in the second set of portraits in cultural outfits. We also had some stressful nearly misses, almost not having an off-site first look (VNE asked others to convince us to cancel), losing the bride's vows, and having the wrong people present for photos.

Keeping schedule wasn't our main issue, rather, it was VNE having no clue what was important to us and ensuring those moments happened. As a result, WE worked to make sure as many as could happened instead of celebrating and soaking it all in.

In our debrief, VNE told us our wedding should have been stressful because it included so many DIY elements, but no one should be told their day should be stressful if they've hired a team with a mission statement saying they will "bring it all together throughout the wedding weekend." We worked tirelessly to support prep for the weekend and had friends step in when VNE was nowhere to be found to problem solve. While VNE did a great job at installation and set up, they failed at coordination, never taking the time to get to know OUR wedding. And we hired them to be coordinators. As we had taken the lead up until our wedding weekend, VNE had no idea how complex our wedding actually was. And so while weddings may run off schedule, ours ran off concept. VNE did not not coordinate the wedding we curated for years with a vendor team (less VNE) who had been with us since 2018; rather, VNE took our preexisting work and forced it into their templates for their event management style, losing our creativity, our personal touch, many essential details, and disrespecting our trusted vendors. We recommend VNE for full design but not coordination, and especially warn multicultural couples to look elsewhere.
