Jane was a true professional from start to finish and beyond. She helped us set realistic expectations, stay organized, and kept us on track. She was transparent, systematic, and a great communicator. Planning a wedding can at times be extremely stressful but Jane had it all under control and it made all the difference keeping me sane and feeling good about everything. On the day of the wedding, everything went perfectly and it was because of her and her team. There were some curveballs thrown but she handled them with grace and like a boss! The night went seamlessly. Jon’s playlist kept the guests dancing all night. Shout out to Jenni and Joseph for all their planning and coordinating help! They were rockstars. Jon’s playlist kept us dancing all night! His Google form was a great tool to keep us organized. He was super chill and communicative. He managed to fulfill all of our music requests and there were a lot of them. He accommodated the unexpected and made everything flow well!

One moment that stood out was when Jane had to pay one of our vendors—our late-night taco truck— last minute with her tip because, in the whirlwind of the day, we forgot that one final payment! Of course, we reimbursed her immediately, but this could have been a disaster, frankly, without Jane’s professionalism and grace about our slip-up.

Jane and Jon strike the perfect balance between being cool, laid-back, and impeccably professional. They’re the kind of planners you genuinely enjoy having around all day, which in my opinion, is such a crucial quality when shopping for a planner.

In hindsight, our wedding was amazing, and we loved every minute of it. The only thing I’d change? I wish I had signed up for their full wedding planning service. DIY’ing our wedding was fun but it ended up causing unnecessary stress the week before. However, if you’re on a budget, the Month of Planning Service is just fine too, and that was the one we picked.

We hired Yu & Us as our wedding coordinator and DJ- it was the best decision we made aside from saying “I do” to each other!

Jane was the best coordinator we could have asked for on our special day! From our initial meeting, we knew we wanted to hire her. Jane’s confident, go-getter attitude, yet kind and genuine personality was the boss bae we wanted to coordinate our wedding. She understood our vision and was very detail oriented. Most importantly she lessened the stress of planning a wedding for us. My wife and I had a specific vision in mind for our big day and Jane executed it beautifully with no questions or hesitation. She was super organized, always fast to answer any questions and was helpful with everything. Not only was she easily available to reach, she checked on us frequently and helped us stay on schedule. Additionally, she effectively communicated with our vendors and our wedding venue coordinator, ensuring everyone understood every detail we asked for and delivering it smoothly on our wedding day. She was a tremendous help with the last minute touches of the wedding. Any concerns or obstacles we encountered during the wedding process and day of, she was able to handle it seamlessly. On the day of, Jane effortlessly worked with our wedding party, my dad’s band and photographer/videographer to make sure our timeline was on schedule. She gave us reassurance and remained supportive during the entire wedding journey, especially the night before with an endearing message to my wife and I. Our wedding day went smoothly with little to no hiccups and we have Jane to thank for that!

Jon our DJ and music planner understood our vibes from the start, which made organizing the music for the ceremony/wedding easy! His personable, laid back, yet professional personality fit well with ours. He allowed us to be creative but also made thoughtful recommendations. He was well-organized, easy to communicate with and checked on us frequently to make sure we were on track with our music forum. Additionally, he went above and beyond to work with my dad and his band to make the wedding reception memorable. His music curation of our personal favorites flowed seamlessly throughout our wedding day. He adapted well to our wedding guests and the energy of the crowd to make sure the dance floor was bangin’!

Jane and Jon worked incredibly well together on the day of, making sure all the months hard work and details were executed perfectly! Our family and guests continue to compliment Jane and Jon’s professionalism and impeccable work in orchestrating our wedding. Yu & Us were wonderful to work with for our wedding day! I started working with them a few months before our wedding and they led us across the finish line. Jane managed all vendor comms, scheduling, and event execution. She was available to answer any questions we had and provided us with the best recommendations. As the title of the review suggests, Jane and Jon were all that my wife and I could have hoped for in wedding planners/coordinators. They were not only professional but also personable. They took initiative to get the ball rolling while keeping us in the loop. They strike the balance of being helpful and active perfectly in a way that does not feel judgmental or invasive. I would recommend them to all I come across. It’d be difficult to find anyone better than them!

We worked with Jane as our coordinator for little less than a year before our wedding date. During that period, she routinely checked in with us, kept us accountable to our goals, and guided us in a lot of unknown areas. Two months prior to the wedding, she took the lead on all our vendors, was the main point of contact, and helped alleviate a lot of stress and problems that led up to the big day. We had a huge problem happen several days before the wedding that even she never experienced in all events she had planned, but she worked around the clock to help us find solutions. Day of the wedding, her and her team were flawless. The day itself was a blur, but there were no incidents to our knowledge and her and her team made sure it was a drama-free, stress-free wedding for me and my spouse. Really professional unit there.

Jon was great as a DJ and MC. He listened to all my requests and took my care for the music seriously. He was easy to work with and our guests raved about his mixing style. He was fun, polite, professional, and got everyone hyped up throughout the entire night.

Couldn't Have Asked For A Better Planner And DJ!

Personally, we found the idea of planning a wedding (even the smaller version we were contemplating) to be completely overwhelming. Planning any kind of event, much less a wedding, is not our forte. By sheer luck, we came across reviews for Yu & Us, checked out their website, and decided to give them a call. I am so glad we did. Jane and Jon were absolutely wonderful to work with. This may sound corny, but Jane really did make the planning process easy and fun. She took the time to get to know us, learn what mattered to us most for the wedding, and make sure those aspects were prioritized. She never tried to push any type of vision on us and was always able to answer any questions we had. Throughout the planning process, she made sure that everything was organized and on schedule. She was also amazing at handling everything the day of. Because of the incredible job she did, our wedding was stress-free and the best party we could ask for.

Jon was an excellent DJ. I lost track of the number of people who came up to us throughout the night to rave about the playlist he put together.

At the same time that we were getting married, my company was going through massive layoffs and my partner and I were moving to another country. Our wedding was going to be the last thing in Los Angeles before we left. Jane helped keep us on track and handled everything so no one could tell how stressful everything was. We had so many compliments on the wedding - from the DJ being absolutely smashing to the decor, clear organisation, food, everything. We really could not have done it without Jane and Jon. Highly recommend! Jane saved us more than once through this process.

THE BEST PART OF THE WEDDING! Jon got ~*weird*~ with the music late at night, and the dance floor was on fire. He kept it social and blended while the older family members were out, but got everyone on the dancefloor and kept them there until the house lights came on

Jane and Jon were both so professional, communicative, fun and just really amazing at what they do. We currently reside in NYC, they’re in LA and our wedding was in ATL but somehow they made sure everything went smoothly. 100%, if we were doing this alone, it definitely would have been a sh**t show. They were a huge part of the most memorable day of our lives. If you are looking for a full service wedding planning service, look no more!! This couple can do it allll.
