Val was the perfect photographer for our special day. The photo galley she made of our engagement shoot and wedding was more than we could ever have asked for. Her positive and humorous vibes made us both so comfortable while getting out photos taken at both events. She made having our photos taken fun, engaging and one of the highlights of our wedding day. In the meetings up to the wedding she was very responsive and was always accommodating of our needs for our big day. She set up check-in meetings with us leading up to the wedding, and helped us put together a schedule for the day that dovetailed with our wedding planner's. Her knowledge and insight from previous weddings really shined with her suggestions at making the day and the photos run seamlessly. Her attentiveness to detail really shined through in our lovely photos. The saying, “It will go by so fast you will hardly remember it,” rings true, but we have the most incredible photos to look back on and remind us of all the great memories we had on our special day. We would 100% recommend Val for your photography needs.

She was present and proactively communicative every step of the way from the engagement shoot through the wedding, and she kept my family calm during multiple weather and scheduling changes. Her work speaks for itself, and she captured our day perfectly. Highly recommend!

VAL IS AMAZING! She was by far the most organized and structured vendor we used AND met with - which says a lot because we talked to A LOT of vendors. She was on top of her outreach, had spreadsheets and other forms, and provided ongoing communication with us on timeline and expectations.

Our engagement photos were amazing - this woman has no problem lugging 2 cameras and a ladder up a mountain to get sunset pics, or trudging through a swamping marsh to get just the right shot of you in your dress - she does it ALL. She is thoughtful, helpful, and facilitates areas of your wedding even if it has nothing to do with photography but will ensure your day is perfect.

Our photos were so romantic and moody (exactly the vibe we wanted) and we are so happy with the photos. She even accommodated pictures of us with our dog which was so sweet!

We cannot recommend Val enough! Not only did she take the most incredible photos of us but she was a dream to work with! Planning a wedding in a pandemic was not the easiest task but she was so helpful and kind to us through the entire process! Not only did we love her but our friends and family also spoke so highly of her! She had great ideas for photos but was also so flexible letting us add in shots we wanted. We are just obsessed with our photos!

Val is so easy to work with. She’s very good at giving directions for poses. My guest loved her at the wedding. Everyone I show my wedding pictures to loves them. She was also reasonably priced compared to other photographers in the area. Her moody pictures and her black and white photography is what made me interested in her style of photography.
Val was always very responsive to emails and easy to contact. For our complimentary engagement shoot I decided that day to fly a kite during the photo shoot which she handled well. For our wedding day I bought light up balloons that she also shot well, and are some of my favorite pictures! She was very perceptive of certain pictures I wanted to obtain the day of my wedding.

One of the things we loved about working with Val was her focused energy. Val knew that there were great shots to be had, but to get them, we’d have to climb down to the rocks right up to the waters edge. In a tux and a big heavy wedding dress and red sparkly heels. It wasn’t easy but Val helped encouraged us to make it happen and the resulting shots are fantastic. Another thing we loved about Val was the she and her assistant were totally unobtrusive. They were there and got every shot but, it never felt like we were being followed around by a camera. Also, Val never pushed the poses on us so it all felt really natural and easy. Val was professional, responsive and accessible throughout the process. Most important though, her work, out photos are gorgeous. She captured the happiness and meaning of our day and we can’t recommend her more strongly. Thank you Val!
