Josh DJed at our wedding reception and we couldn’t have been happier!

Leading up to the day, his communication was clear and friendly. He was flexible in working with both our venue and our specific needs for the space, and even took the extra step of visiting the venue in person ahead of time to make sure everything would run smoothly.

On the night, the music was brilliant—we danced right up until closing time. Josh played all our favourite songs, along with plenty of additional tracks that perfectly complemented our style. The music suited every part of the evening, and so many guests made a point of saying how much fun they had. Thank you for creating such a great atmosphere- we had a fantastic night!

First of all - the DJ'ing of our event was fantastic - he had everyone dancing and played all the songs we requested! Also, Josh was so nice and helpful with figuring out the details for our wedding - our venue required travel by ferry + it took some effort to figure out the existing sound system and Josh was incredibly patient with all this and went out of his way to figure things out without causing stress. He also had great ideas for how to make the music and dancing of the event even better. Highly recommend hiring Josh for your event!

I’ve known Josh for over 10 years DJing events in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Known in the city as someone who plays upbeat pop music and house - I’ve always enjoyed hearing him play when I was out at my favorite bars. When we were planning our wedding we knew we had to get Josh for the mix of music and energy he brings to a party. He did a fantastic job of working with us on playing some favorite songs of ours and also went with the vibe to create a really memorable dance party. We highly recommend him!

Josh was fantastic to deal with and was the best wedding DJ I’ve ever experienced. He met with us early and close to the wedding to get all the specifics and get our input on music selections which he integrated very well into his playlist. He always answered emails promptly and was still encouraging us to contact him with last minute song requests a couple days before the wedding. His rates were very affordable and he gave us great value. We’ve heard from so many people that they could not get off the dance floor and how much they enjoyed the music. I will be recommending Josh to friends who will be getting married in the future because if they go with him, they will not have to worry about anything DJ/music related because we definitely didn’t.

Working with Josh was so easy. He was professional and payed attention to detail. During our pre- wedding meeting he brought up questions I had not even thought about in order to make my day perfect. During my reception Josh had ALL my wedding guests on the dance floor, from my friends to my 86 year old grandpa! We keep hearing about how amazing our music and dance party was, and that's all thanks to Josh! We would 100% recommend booking him for your event.

Maybe I'm biased in saying we loved Josh because he made our night (and all our guests' night too). He has this ability to feel out the crowd and shift the music to keep the party moving and exciting. Super efficient, listened to our song requests and vibe for each part of the night, and created a unique, hip environment that did not scream typical wedding music!

We booked Josh for our wedding and he was awesome from the beginning. He took the time to meet with us when we were still shopping around and I really enjoyed is attitude and style. He encouraged us to send him lists of the kind of things he wanted and was very receptive to our taste. He even met with us 2 weeks before the wedding to finalize the timeline for the night and discuss details. The night of, everyone was on the dance floor and kept commenting on how great the DJ was. I would definitely recommend Josh to anyone out there looking for a DJ without the typical DJ attitude.

We booked Josh because we attended a wedding where he DJed and loved the music he played. He did an amazing job at our wedding. The music he played was fun, danceable, and made for a really great evening.

Josh met with us before the wedding to get a good sense of the kind of music we like (and don't like). It really paid off. His set through the night included many of our favorites and got everyone on the dance floor.

Josh was also great at managing the music for specific points in the ceremony and reception (such as the processional or cake cutting). He was a kind of master of ceremonies which helped keep the evening organized.

We heard of DJ SPARBER from a friend. He was recommended with very high reviews and we were told we wouldn't regret the choice. And now, 5 days after our Wedding, I still can't imagine what the night would have been with a different DJ. He was amazing and played to every guests likes.

Both my Husband and I have families that like to dance, but also are particular with their music tastes. Because of this, I provided a list of must plays / no not plays as well as a wide range of songs that show off the tastes of both family and friends. Needless to say, the dance floor was packed all night long.

One of my favorite moments came during dinner, when he played Hearts 'Alone'. My eyes lit up, and seeing that everyone knew it's one of my top 5 favorite songs, the entire table started busting out into karaoke. At that point I realized that the night would only get better. And when DJ SPARBER reached our requested "Power Pop Princess Hour" the place was jammin! The dance floor was flooded with guests - as well as broken wine glasses cause, well, it's power pop!

From the perfect timing during the ceremony, to a great lounge vibe for cocktail hour and dinner, and then a powerful mix for dancing - the night was a blast!
