You cannot find a better photographer than Tom Nicol!!! His pricing is very competitive, and the quality of his work is EXCEPTIONAL! I heard SEVERAL comments from people about how amazing our pictures turned out!!! They were blown away!! One woman told us she had never seen better wedding pictures!!!

Tom very obviously LOVES what he does and it shows forth in his work and the time he is willing to invest with you! Unlike other photographers who try to nickel and dime you, Tom has one flat rate that covers the wedding photography AND includes the engagement session--an added bonus! Within a very short period of time, he begins posting pictures on Facebook! That was such a pleasant surprise because at first I expected to wait a very long time to see our photos. The entire album was sent to us to view only 2 1/2 weeks after our wedding!! Tom gives you the right to the photos so that you can have them printed anywhere you choose instead of having to purchase them for outrageous prices online.

In addition to his excellent work and competitive pricing, Tom has such a pleasant, friendly personality; my husband and I knew he was the photographer we wanted to hire the very first time we met him. I cannot recommend Tom highly enough! You will NOT be disappointed in hiring him as your photographer!!!

My husband and I really enjoyed having Tom share in our special day in June. We enjoyed his company very much and Tom was willing to go above and beyond to get the right shot at the right angle for us. He literally walked through fire and ice for us as out engagement shoot was outdoors in February and our wedding was outdoors on a 90 degree morning! Tom Nicol photography also offers great value for great pictures; many other photography services offer a set amount of time at a set price, then require you to purchase additional time and add ons (thumb drives, photo books, etc.) ala carte which can add up quickly. For a reasonable price, we got GORGEOUS pictures of both an engagement shoot and our wedding, a photo book, online gallery with printing rights and a thumb drive. I am really looking forward to working with Tom in the future for other memorable occasions.

I want to start out by saying I am only giving Tom a 5.0/5.0 rating because it is not possible to give extra stars. He has truly blown my husband and I away with how talented he is. My husband and I recently got married on 09/03/2016. We booked Tom for our engagement photo session and was so happy with our photos we asked him to do our wedding. Unfortunately, he had already been booked so we were forced to go elsewhere for our wedding photographer. We ended up with a photographer from George Street (a fancy photography business). These people were not only not as professional and easy to work with as Tom was but our photos also didn't turn out as outstanding as they had when we had booked Tom. Last minute, we came to Tom begging him to find time for us to book an outdoor wedding photo-shoot. Tom not only came through for us in booking something last minute so we could get fall pictures, but all the pictures came through beautifully. My husband and I both agree that even the best photo we got from our day-of wedding photographers didn't even come close to the quality of the ones Tom took for us. He really does have a vision he brings to life and he's also a fun guy to work with. I would definitely advise anyone looking for a photographer to use Tom. He offers great deals for amazing photos.

We just received the photos of our wedding today---and couldn't be more thrilled. Each one is terrific--Tom captured the feel and the mood of our special day perfectly and the photos are beautiful. I cannot possibly give a higher recommendation for a wedding photographer. Another big factor is that Tom is such a nice person; he is kind and wonderful to work with; we found him to be truthful in his dealings and totally helpful yet unobtrusive at the event. I felt like I had a friend taking our photos. We had planned a lot of outdoor images and it poured on our wedding day, yet Tom still managed to get in a lot of wonderful shots and we don't really miss all the outdoor ones as a result. Thank you, Tom, for capturing this day for us so well; we will always treasure these pictures.

Tom Nicol’s photography is more than taking photos. He has an eye and instinct to capture those special moments in time in a photo. My wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking.
There are moments he caught that I don’t remember and there are others that brought joyful tears to my eyes. My friends and relatives who have viewed the photos are absolutely amazed at the beautiful pictures. Tom has a great personality, is wonderful to work with and his skill in photography is superb.

When it came to wedding planning, photography was one of the checklist items that I cared most about, but that I felt was the hardest to select a vendor for. There are so many options to choose from, and price ranges can vary greatly for seemingly no reason at all. Tom was our choice for photographer first and foremost because you can tell upon meeting him he is one of the nicest, most genuine people. He is accommodating, and cares solely about working with your schedule to make sure planning is not a hindrance to you. He takes his job seriously, and came so well prepared to our first meeting that we had no doubt he would be the perfect photographer for us. AND, not to mention, he is one of the highest quality, most reasonably priced photographers out there. His pictures are gorgeous, and he has SUCH an attention to detail that, when I flip through our photos, I can instantly put myself back in the moments of our day. He also spent way more hours with us during the day than what was initially talked about, and he went above and beyond to accomplish all of the 'shot list items' I had sent him beforehand. All in all, Tom was truly a spectacular vendor to have participate in our day. We weren't the only ones who thought so, as our other vendors raved about how nice he was, how professional he was, and most importantly, how beautiful his photos are. We lucked out finding such an affordable, yet world class photographer for our day, and he comes highly recommended from my husband and me!!!!!

Tom did an excellent job for our very informal wedding. We emphasized that we wanted mostly candid photos - capturing people's conversations and eye contact with one another. He was always looking, preparing for the moments when no one was watching. When someone's giggle turned into a laugh, when a hug became an embrace. He saw these moments at our wedding; between my husband and I, and between our family members. There are pictures of moments that only those in the photo will remember, and cherish.

My husband and I were fortunate to have Tom take our engagement photos in October 2020 and our wedding photos this past June 2021! Tom could not have been more laid back, flexible, patient, or easy to work with. He is also extremely reasonably priced for the amount of time he offers and the number of photos he takes. He captured the immense joy and happiness of our wedding day from start to finish. We've received many compliments on our photos, specifically on how well Tom captured our love for each other, our families, and our friends. We highly recommend Tom!!

Tom was Fabulous to work with! Very accommodating and helpful. We had a possibility of a slight glitch of changing our date (due to the holdiay. Tom was willing to work with us and even give us our deposit back if it didn't work out. You don't see that type of professionalism/understanding theses days. Well, It ended up going as planned and worked out PERFECTLY!

Tom was so great! We really appreciated how he consulted with us on what locations to choose for our outdoor wedding photos. He was very flexible as we were changing the plan around a bit the day of the wedding and he also was great with all our family photos, even though we did these outside in the cold with a large group an hour before sunset.... Overall we couldn't have been happier with our choice for a photographer. Our wedding photos were available quickly (we got the teasers while on our honeymoon!) and they are so beautiful. We have received so many compliments on the photos as well as on how unobtrusive Tom was, yet he captured the entire day perfectly. Thanks Tom!
