Great experience! Maria, Yancey house owner, is absolutely all that you could ask for. Very resourceful, attentive and accommodating. The venue is beautiful, very well kept, and the perfect intimate setting.

The venue is GORGEOUS and sized for a medium wedding (we invited 80). The gazebo is a beautiful spot to get married under. It works amazingly for an outside wedding. There is a beautiful piano in the main sitting room in the house (great place to take pictures), along with a great lawn and a small pond with a cute little dock (also a great place for pictures). The pricing isn't super cheap, but it's absolutely worth it for such a wonderful venue (plus there are no outside vendor fees here--very nice). Maria is the best person I could ask for. She went on two or three venue tours with me, so we could get my MOH (who is an industrial design graduate) to help us plan out decorations. She answered quickly anytime I messaged her. She is the sweetest lady I could ask for in the wedding field.

Maria was a godsend, and she went above and beyond not only to make the venue beautiful but also to accommodate the needs of my family as we prepared for my daughter's wedding. My daughter wanted the "royal wedding" she had dreamed up for years since even before high school, and The Yancey House MORE THAN DELIVERED! Thank you isn't good enough, but they're the words most often used, so thank you so much, Maria, for making my little girl's (and my new son-in-law's) day one to remember for a lifetime. You rock!
