Miriam S. Jerris, Ph.D. is the founder of The Wedding Connection. She has been officiating ceremonies since 1985. Ms Jerris is a Humanist Minister, ordained by the Humanist Society, associated with the American Humanist Association. She is also ordained as a Rabbi by the Intewrnational Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism. Dr. Jerris holds a Ph.D. degree in Jewish Studies and Masters Degrees in Near Eastern Studies and Humanistic and Clinical Psychology. She offers pre-martial and marital counseling, if desired. Her background and education places her in an exceptional position to serve the needs of couples from different cultural and religious backgrounds. She is committed to celebrating, with dignity, couples whose needs often go unmet, whether they be humanistic, interfaith, interracial, intercultural, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. She has performed more than 1500 wedding ceremonies since 1985.

Stephen J. Stawicki, co-founder of The Wedding Connection, was a Master Bridal Consultant, the highest designation offered by the Association of Bridal Consultants. , He offers same day coordinating and is an officiant for wedding ceremonies, His professional associations include membership in the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). Mr. Stawicki brings more than 30 years of expertise in the advertising and sales fields to this venture.
