Julie officiated our wedding on 10/24/25 at the Whiskey Factory in Detroit. Prior to, I had a one on one phone call with her where she was very open and honest, applying no pressure to hire her as she truly wanted us to find the best fit. We met up for coffee where she guided us in picking each part of our custom ceremony. Julie was professional, provided suggestions from her experience, and had an easy going energy. We worked with Julie from On the Spot Knot as our officiant and day-of planner. Julie is incredible! She was very accessible prior to the wedding and answered any questions we had promptly. She provided us with some helpful tips and recommendations (e.g., our amazing DJ, my very talented hair and makeup salon) as well as providing forms to fill out to ensure the day went smoothly. Regarding the officiating, Julie provided us with some sample ceremonies and allowed us to modify them to reflect how we wanted our ceremony to go. She was very organized and had all the materials needed to ensure the legal aspects of the marriage were taken care of. She filed our certificate and provided us with a copy of our ceremony. Regarding the planning, we had a phone call a few weeks before the wedding to make sure we had everything in order. She made sure to confirm with all vendors and addressed any issues that popped up the day of, so I did not have to. She arrived early to the venue and was instrumental in making sure the set up was done on time. The reception was beautiful. The entire evening went by seamlessly thanks to her organization and coordination. She made sure that we were able to get cleaned up and out of the venue on time. I am so grateful to Julie for her help throughout our wedding process. She is an invaluable resource with loads of knowledge, incredibly kind, and such a pleasure to work with! Thank you, Julie!
