Luis was an absolute star day-of coordinator for our wedding day. He fielded our many emails and questions leading up to the event with kindness and patience, and encouraged us to call or text with any updates as the day drew closer. He created an extremely detailed timeline for our wedding day and coordinated with all vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. On the day of, he kept us on schedule almost down to the minute, and responded to any unexpected events calmly and with professionalism and positivity. He set up our decor just as we'd envisioned (and sometimes even better), and at the end of the night packed it up just as carefully. We especially appreciated how attentive he was to our parents and to our guests with dietary restrictions. Whether it was reworking floral arrangements to create an extra boutonniere just before family photos, or enlisting the venue coordinator to repair our cake topper in the middle of the reception when we thought it was beyond saving, we were consistently impressed with Luis's dedication, resourcefulness, and professionalism. I am naturally a very anxious person, but as soon as I saw Luis in action I knew that I could relax and that he had everything under control. At the end of the night he even personally followed the delivery driver back to our hotel to ensure our decor was returned safely. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything ran and how much fun they had. We can't thank Luis enough for going above and beyond to ensure we had a truly enjoyable and memorable wedding!

Rebecca and Luis are a seasoned duo with over 12 years of experience in event/wedding planning. When I told them my idea for a 1920s carnival themed wedding reception on a Friday the 13th, they were there to listen to my ideas, offer their expert advice, and go above and beyond in every way possible. They were always responsive and ready with their experience and wisdom to guide the planning along. They also had great connections to other vendors, which saved us a ton of money in the end. On the big day, some hiccups occurred during the event (late vendors, including the cake!), but I never even heard a word about it. We hired Rebecca and Luis as day-of coordinators and they were great! Rebecca came up with the timeline and communicated with vendors leading up to the wedding. Luis was my main coordinator for the wedding and he did a great job of keeping us on track. We had paid for sparkling wine for guests upon arrival but noticed the venue didn’t put it out. We told Luis and he handled it right away. It also rained on our day and he took away a lot of stress by communicating with the venue to go through with the rain plan.

We had the pleasure of working with Rebecca and Luis as our wedding planners, and they were absolutely incredible. We opted for their partial planning Serenity package, and it was perfect for us. Our wedding was in June at Greenpoint Loft, a venue they know like the back of their hand. They coordinated seamlessly with the venue and the caterers (we used Creative Foods, who actually recommended Rebecca and Luis).

As a very Type A person, I had a million questions for them, which they always answered enthusiastically and very quickly. They executed our day to perfection and were so sweet along the way. We got married in a circle/round formation, and Luis did an awesome job making sure the inner circle included all our immediate family and wedding party, which was one of my favorite parts.

Rebecca and Luis had fantastic recommendations that helped us save a solid amount of money. We live close to the venue, so they even picked up our decorations and dropped them off, relieving us of the worry about cleaning up afterward. We had a big wedding party, including our dog, and they led everyone seamlessly throughout the day. They also did a walkthrough with us a month out and a rehearsal two days before the wedding.

Rebecca and Luis at Unruffled Bride are game changers. After an exhausting search of different wedding planners, we were recommended Rebecca by a local venue. Rebecca saw my vision from the first conversation and executed it to a tee.

For every vendor, she had a trusted list of who to pick and choose from at every price point. She helped us understand, from the beginning, where our money should go and where it didn’t need to. For the year before the wedding, she answered every email, text, and call promptly and was happy to provide anything we needed, even if it was just a friendly ear. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Rebecca had every “t” and “I” dotted and crossed. They met with and organized all the external vendors with the venue, created the wedding day timeline, and kept me calm. Day-of, they helped set up all of the tables and chairs, our decorations, coordinated with our rental companies, and even went so far as to set our tables for us. Although I was getting ready nat the venue, I never had to raise a finger. During our wedding, they kept everything on a proper timetable and made it possible for my husband and I to participate in and enjoy ourselves to the fullest.

Our wedding went off without a hitch (or at least none that I know of) and I put that solely on Rebecca and Luis’ shoulders. They worked hard to make our day truly special, and I’ve also gained life-long friends. Hire Rebecca and Luis, you won’t regret it!!

Rebecca was my day-of coordinator and I am so beyond happy I had her. She did not have an easy task for my wedding as I needed her to be a buffer between me and some others on the guest list.
