Scheduled my celebration dinner for around 30 people. Ana was wonderful to work with and my event was beautiful. The food was delicious!

Great local venue and delicious food. Was very accomedating and flexible to work with for set up. The staff were all amazing and did a great job. The downstairs event room allows for privacy, overlooks the river, and has a great covered patio as well.

The River Company's event manager, Ana Daniels, was professional, well organized, understanding, and experienced. The venue was clean and nice with a view of the river. The event manager was accommodating during preparation and flexible. I would recommend the River Company for such events based on our wedding reception there. I liked also that the venue's decor was neutral and not themed after nearby universities which would detract from our personal event.

The River Company provided everything we needed for our wedding in a very professional manner, and the quality was amazing. They stayed in direct contact with us leading up to the wedding, and paid attention to details for set up and food orders. Meals were prepared in a timely manner and were accuarate for every guest. The entire staff was positive and ready to help in any way they could. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for everything, River Company!

The River Company Restaurant & Brewery was the perfect venue for the wedding reception of our daughter. The quality of service was excellent. The food was over the top delicious and they worked with us on our budget to provide us with the best food possible. Everyone still talks about how wonderful the food and service was. They were attentive to our every want and need and went out of their way to make sure that the reception was a wonderful event. Their event coordinator Tina had great ideas for decorating and ways to save money. She was with us every step of the way and the reception was perfect. It is a hidden jewel in the New River Valley for venues to host large or small special occasions or just to go have a wonderfully delicious meal with family and friends. This will be my first choice of places when planning any events in the future. Take the time to check them out as I know you will not be disappointed.

Having our wedding at the River Company was the best decision we could have made. From the beginning we knew that we would have a great experience with them. Trina and Marybeth made sure that everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. The food was fantastic and the venue is beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone having an event there.

The River Company Restaurant and Brewery is a diamond in the rough of wedding venues! Our wedding was extraordinary at The River Company. We did our ceremony outside at their outdoor ceremony site, with the reception inside at their banquet room (The River Room). The whole experience was so overwhelmingly positive, I cannot sing their praises enough! I worked very closely with Trina, their events coordinator, for all of the details of the wedding - she is such a professional! Also very sweet and fun! She even was very great with dealing with our last minute guest count cancelations and our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner starting late (we also did this at The River Company). Of course the major value comes from the fact that the food and beverage planning is all through them. This for one was majorly convenient and added so much value. Our guests were raving about the food and beer (many said it was the best food at a wedding they've ever had)! If I could give more stars I could. The whole staff there is superb!!! Any brides/grooms out there that love microbrews and GREAT food (and are looking for a reasonably priced venue) need to investigate The River Company.
