We hired Q Shack for our wedding and the food was delicious. The catering staff was also amazing.

The Q Shack catered our May wedding, and it honestly was perfect. We wanted BBQ for our NC guests and also to show off what we do here in NC to our out of state guests. Q Shack totally delivered. We had multiple tastings with them to make sure we had the exact menu we wanted. They were extremely responsive and accommodating with any questions or changes.

Their staff at the reception was wonderful, very professional and really we couldn't have asked for anything more.

There were other BBQ places that I had talked to that were a bit fancier and pricier but honestly for our Barn wedding this was a great option to be a step up from your typical backyard BBQ, it was great!

We worked with Laura and she helped me out SO MUCH! Every little question no matter the time she was quick to respond. Even if it had nothing to do with the food. The crew, especially the bar keep was AMAZING and the food was warm and delicious! We could not have asked for more our of the Q Shack!

We worked with Laura from the Farmer's Table Restaurant Group for our wedding at The Cloth Mill at Eno River in Hillsborough, NC. From our initial contact to the day of our wedding, Laura was a pleasure to work with and helped us find amazing options for our cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and our main buffet dinner. The pricing was super reasonable and they even cut our cake for free, as well as helped set up our reception during the flip from the ceremony. Their staff is so sweet and were on point all throughout the night with clean up. I would highly suggest scheduling an appointment to taste their offerings before deciding on another caterer! I can't tell you how many of our guests told us about how delicious dinner was, even now, a month after we got married!

We had a 62 person barn wedding and wanted REALLY good food, so we decided on BBQ. Laura with Farmer's Table RG (the parent company of The Q Shack) was so nice and accommodating. The Q Shack catered the dinner and we had some other apps for our cocktail hour from Farmer's Table. Everything was SO GOOD, which is saying something because I've been to several weddings where the food has been forgettable at best.

Laura's team worked efficiently, professionally and unobtrusively, which is the hallmark of great service. During the planning process, Laura was always very responsive and answered all our questions. The value for the food and service we received was definitely a deal! Go with the Q Shack!

We couldn't have asked for a better caterer. Tom Meyer was there day and night to help us with every detail related to questions and planning for the wedding reception and rehearsal dinner. I'm serious when I say he returned emails sent late at night and called me promptly whenever I had a question or a change that needed discussing. We had Tom do both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception because his company does more than just BBQ. Both events were outside under a large tent on a farm in Mebane, NC and there was a limited kitchen that was far from the tent, so Tom's group had to make sure the food showed up hot/cold and stayed that way. Guests commented at both events that the food was great. (We sort of figured it was because so many people went back for seconds and thirds.) The catering team that came to our venue were top notch. Dressed very professionally, they worked hard to make sure our guests were served great food. Afterwards, the team packed up food for the bride and groom to take with them that night and then carefully packed up any remaining food (BBQ) for the rest of the family. To top that off, the catering staff also started helping us pack up the chairs and tables under the tent for the rental company - which was something that went WAY beyond customer service. If you want a caterer who really cares about the quality and presentation of the food and who will make you feel heard and cared for from start to finish, you want to hire Tom and his catering team. You will not regret it. Seriously, with a wedding you have too many other things to worry about so why not make sure you've got the best person handling your catering? Tom and his team are it!

Booked Q Shack after an excellent tasting. They were easy to work with and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a southern BBQ style meal at your wedding.

We hired Q-Shack to cater our wedding a few weeks ago and I must say that they were GREAT!! Initially when we decided to use the Q-Shack, we worked with the owner Tom in creating a menu as well as appetizers. I was highly impressed by this, as the owner of many caters aren't as hands on with potential clients as Tom was. During the planning process we encountered a mishap in setting the date of our wedding on the same day as the International Bluegrass Festival, without reception venue right in the middle of the festivities. We contacted Tom about changing this date, and he worked to accommodate our new wedding date that was set for the weekend after the festival. Approaching the wedding date, we began working with Laura, the new wedding concierge (we assumed that business was booming and Tom needed more people, lol.) Laura was a delight to work with. She was very patient and accommodating in us switching things on our menu literally a week and half before the wedding. The day of our wedding, Dave and the rest of the staff were wonderful in prepping everything for the reception. We had more than enough servers and bartenders, and all the guests seem appreciative of the hard work they put in. Our menu consisted of beef brisket, smoked turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes and their famous mac n' cheese with ham biscuits, chicken salad crostini, cracked pepper, goat cheese and honey crostini with an assortment of chips and dips as appetizers. As of today, guests still comment on how good the food was especially the brisket and mac n' cheese. I will definitely recommend the Q-Shack to anyone hosting a reunion, wedding or any other event in need of catering services.

The Q Shack, which is a restaurant under the Farmers Table Restaurant Group (this is different from the Original Q Shack in Durham), provided hors d'oeuvres, buffet, servers, bartenders, and beer for my wedding of 90 people. Overall, they were amazing, and a fantastic price! We had pimento cheese biscuits, stuffed mushrooms, goat cheese potatoes, and arancini balls for hors d'oeuvres, and brisket, pulled chicken, hushpuppies, mac and cheese, green beans, and black bean salad for dinner. The staff worked so hard and were extremely courteous and professional. Everything was extremely affordable, and our guests loved the food!
