I am so delighted that we found Holly Tate Catering for our daughters wedding! The Tate Team were incredibly professional, warm and welcoming to our family & guests. They were a joy to work with, recommending hors d'oeuvres and entree options. We value premium, gourmet food.....and that is exactly what we received, all at a very reasonable cost! It has been several weeks since the wedding and we are still receiving texts and calls from friends commenting, "That was THE best meal that I've ever eaten at a wedding! And, the service was also wonderfully incredible!" I could brag for days about Heather & Charlotte. They went over & beyond ensuring that we received the best service possible! Our delicious spring meal consisted of (staff recommended) appetizers: pepper crusted steak crostini's, mini fried green tomato BLT's, and mini parmesan cups filled with apple salad, candied walnuts and a maple dijon vinaigrette. For dinner, we chose half portions of the bourbon maple glazed grilled salmon and the grilled Tuscan stuffed chicken, giving guests the opportunity to have both meat options. Everything was absolute perfection! Thank you John Tate and staff for making our event a dream come true!

From beginning to end they were exceptional. I had no idea where to begin and John was so nice and helpful, he made recommendations based off the different things we were looking to do. This made for such a smooth process. Heather worked with us on the different menu items we were looking at and she was so sweet and patient with us. The options are endless! When we met for our tasting, we met with Heather and Chef Ben. The setting was so comfortable, and we really enjoyed getting to know both Heather and Chef Ben, they are such wonderful people who love what they do, and it shows. They had prepared everything as it would be at the wedding and served accordingly. They were so attentive to the comments that were made during the tasting making notes such as when the groom did not care for the tomatoes and passed to the bride Heather made the note no tomatoes for the groom extra for the bride, they did not miss a beat as we ate and made comments. The food was phenomenal!!!! We discussed with them that we had guests with food allergies and Chef Ben and Heather again taking all the notes made sure they knew who those guests were and that there could be no cross contamination of the food. Day of the wedding Heather, Chef Ben and the staff were amazing so attentive made sure to advise our guests with food allergies there would be no cross contamination everything would be provided by the staff only. Chef Ben made sure to provide what was needed for those individuals. Everyone raved about the food and how attentive the staff were. We had one guest in particular who works with catering companies and quoted “this is top level catering they are the example of what a catering company should be. They are one of the best that she has experienced!!” We are still getting comments on how amazing the food was and how wonderful the staff was. They went over and beyond outside their scope of work when they were able to pick up the wedding cake for us that we could not get. Heather is the BEST!!! That was so extremely over the top!!!! We cannot thank them enough. Every bit of that cake got eaten.

We recently worked with Holly Tate for the first time at our venue in Winston-Salem, NC. Their team was one of the most professional we’ve worked with. Though the event was a rainy one, they adapted and had a game plan to work well together and with our staff to deliver an event that satisfied the clients needs and exceeded expectations across the board. We look forward to working with Holly Tate again!
