We truly cannot say enough amazing things about The Mockingbirds. From start to finish, they were an absolute highlight of our wedding day.

We knew we wanted a live band, but I had no idea where to start. My husband had seen The Mockingbirds a few times before and was adamant that we had to have them. He took the initiative to reach out, and thankfully they were available for our date. From the very first contact, Kyle was incredibly easy to talk to and work with. Communication was smooth and consistent—he always responded quickly to emails and answered every question we had. The band was organized, professional, and kept us on track with deadlines, making us feel completely comfortable and confident that the reception would be a blast—and they delivered beyond expectations.

Our only real request was to get people up and dancing, and that they absolutely did. The dance floor was packed all night long—guests of every age were dancing, singing, and raving about the music. Their energy, talent, and ability to read the room was incredible. They seamlessly transitioned between songs and genres and kept the momentum going the entire night. They truly made our wedding.

We’ve had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen—some have even gone on to see them perform again around Boston. If you want a fun, high-energy, unforgettable reception, The Mockingbirds are the absolute best choice. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!

This band is incredible!! They made our wedding a truly unforgettable night. Our friends and family are still talking even weeks after about how awesome the Mockingbirds were. We had The Mockingbirds play at our wedding this month and they were absolutely amazing! They went out of their way to make the day feel special and totally nailed the vibe we were going for and kept it going all night. We wanted a party and The Mockingbirds delivered. When we were planning our wedding one of the must haves was a band. What started as genuine phone call with Kyle, to seeing them perform live in Boston, led to us booking The Mockingbirds for our wedding and we could not be happier we did. Kyle’s professionalism and experience helped us in the planning process. He listened to what we wanted and offered valuable suggestions that we didn’t think of as the wedding planning process can be daunting. Kyle played acoustics during the ceremony and cocktail and the band rocked the night away after dinner. From the their first song to the last song, the dance floor was packed all night long. They have an incredible set list and really play off the energy. It’s so fun looking back at our photos and videos and just seeing the dance floor full of our family and friends all enjoying the Mockingbirds. The next morning at breakfast people kept coming up to us telling us how great the Mockingbirds were and asking how we found them. We cannot wait to go see them play an event in Boston this fall.

If you are looking for a band for your wedding...look no further. Kyle and The Mockingbirds are insanely good. They made our wedding day so much fun and every person there could not stop staying how awesome the band was. They captured our essence through music and made so many sentimental moments happen for us. They rocked everyone's socks off and played so many of our favorite songs, including Free Bird which was ELECTRIC...just saying. They played the perfect blend of pop, rock, country, DJing songs...you name it. They were the perfect band and awesome people to work with. We cannot imagine our day without them and would highly recommend to everyone who is looking!

We could not be happier with our decision to have the Mockingbirds perform at our weding reception! From the very beginning, Kyle (the band’s lead) was incredibly organized, responsive, and accommodating.

On the day of the wedding, the whole band was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We had a list of must-play songs, and they seamlessly wove those into a setlist that kept the dance floor packed all night long. They read the crowd perfectly and kept the momentum going from start to finish.

Since the wedding, quite a few guests have reached out to ask for the band’s name for their own weddings/events...the Mockingbirds truly made the reception. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

Words said by me on the way out of our wedding: And I do. When I say this band literally *made* our wedding, I am not joking. The dance floor was absolutely packed all night. Every single person I danced with said some variation of, “The band is INCREDIBLE.” We had uncles and grandparents and nieces and nephews and everyone in between out there getting down the whole night. Even our friend who is literally in a leg cast right now could not keep himself off the dance floor. If you want everyone to have the most fun at your wedding, book the Mockingbirds. Don’t even think about it.

And I’d be remiss not to mention that beyond the incredible musicianship and energy, Kyle has been the absolute easiest to work with. He is so easy to talk to, kind, helpful, and communicative. When I asked if they could learn Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen, Kyle was all about it (and don’t even get me started on their vocalist Boston who crushed that incredibly difficult song…) He even let us use his equipment so that we could perform a “first song” together instead of a first dance and was super accommodating helping us figure out the logistics of that.

If you’re still having doubts (why?), everyone at our wedding started chanting “ONE MORE SONG” at the end of the night because they couldn’t get enough. Our wedding was literally just a few days ago, but I couldn’t wait to write this review because I’m still riding the high of the best party ever. We love the Mockingbirds!!!

WOW. I was planning on having a DJ for my wedding until I saw The Mockingbirds live and am SO happy I booked them for my wedding. It's been three months since our big day and I still have guests telling me how much fun the wedding was thanks to the band!! The dancefloor was packed from first song to last - they had an incredible read of the room and kept the hits coming all night long. My 88-year-old grandmother was even a dancefloor attendee for most of the night!! The Mockingbirds went above and beyond for our special dances songs, too. They learned to play our first dance song (not a standard on their set list) and made some impromptu edits to the father-daughter song. Great energy, great to work with, super responsive, and SO MUCH FUN. Working with The Mockingbirds was hands-down the best decision of our big day!!

All of our guests have been RAVING about The Mockingbirds since the wedding! I cannot say enough good things about them. First, they were easy to work with and organized. Kyle checked in with me a few times a year during the planning stages to go through the whole process of what they offer and what we were looking for. They have great suggestions if you're struggling to decide certain music and they know the industry well. For a high strung bride like myself who worries about everything, I didn't have one stress working with them. They can read the room incredibly well and keep the party going! Our dance floor was full the entire night. The only time it emptied out was when the band would take a 10 minute break. All of the musicians are incredibly talented and put on an amazing show. Book The Mockingbirds for your wedding and you won't regret it!!
