PK was an absolute blast! They were unbelievably fun to work with and every single member (and I mean EVERY single member) of the band was on fire the entire evening. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for the GOAT of bands for their wedding.

If you are looking for a band for your wedding, stop your search and hire PK & The Mighty 7. First, they sound incredible. They create a wall of sound that grabs everyone’s attention from the very first note. They interact with the crowd to make everyone feel like part of the show, and they work with you to help create exactly the vibe you want.

Everyone in the band brings amazing energy—and, more importantly, they want you (the bride and groom) to be the stars of the night. I’ll never forget being on stage with them—leading the band (and the entire party) in a rendition of Shout, watching my wife and daughter sing some of our favorite songs, and even stage diving during a song we requested (Coldplay’s A Sky Full of Stars, which they absolutely crushed). As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

For our ceremony, we gave the band the challenge of learning two pieces that normally require full orchestras to perform. Without a doubt, PK & The Mighty 7 pulled it off—you would have thought we brought an entire symphony to the mountains to play John Williams’s Jurassic Park.

Matt was extremely easy to work with and addressed all of our questions promptly. It’s been three weeks since our wedding, and our guests are still reaching out with comments like “your band was amazing” and “the music was perfect.”

We (and the band) had so much fun that many of the musicians even came to our after-party to keep celebrating with us.

We wholeheartedly endorse PK & The Mighty 7. They were instrumental in creating—and sustaining—the incredible energy that made our wedding unforgettable.

I don’t care what musicians or bands you’ve seen at Fenway or Gillette, PK and the Mighty Seven at your wedding will go down as one of your all-time favorite live performances. I literally stumbled upon PKM7 at Somerville Porchfest in 2023 while trying to find a different band. The crowd and the energy surrounding the porch where PKM7 were playing were so electric that my friends and I spent the rest of the afternoon dancing in the street with PKM7, completely abandoning our original plans. I wasn’t even engaged at the time, but that same afternoon, I texted my then-girlfriend (now wife) that I had found the band for our wedding. Two years later, I can confidently say that booking PKM7 was probably the second-best wedding decision I made - only behind deciding to propose.
From the start, Matt was incredibly responsive and professional. He never hesitated to hop on a call to answer our questions and coordinated directly with our venue when needed to make sure everything was in place. On one call, he even had us help map out the space on Google Maps so he knew exactly where the band needed to be and when. Through all our back and forth, it was clear that Matt and the band are seasoned pros. He made us feel like our wedding experience was his top priority, and his professionalism put us totally at ease.
As for the music, be prepared for every single guest to come up to you during the reception to rave about the band. During our ceremony, Nate on keyboard and Prophet on vocals had everyone tearing up with beautiful renditions of Isn’t She Lovely, What a Wonderful World, and Brown Eyed Girl. The cocktail hour started the celebration vibes with guests already starting to dance, and the reception was a full-blown, non-stop dance party. We had a smaller reception with only 80 guests and fully believe a DJ or a mediocre band would have never been able to keep the dance floor full the way PKM7 did.
Just to highlight the talent in this band: Sarah sang Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan so well that I now consider Chappell’s version the cover. Prophet was handed the tall order of covering Georgia on My Mind - a song that’s easy to butcher - for my father-daughter dance, and somehow channeled Ray Charles in a way I’ve never heard anyone else do. And as a testament to how contagious the energy was, one of my friends saw her husband dance for the first time ever at our wedding despite over seven years and many weddings together.
We genuinely can’t recommend PK and the Mighty Seven enough and wholeheartedly believe you won’t find a better band for your money. They have that rare trifecta of professionalism, talent, and chemistry that’s nearly impossible to find in a wedding band. Scream-singing Pink Pony Club and Mr. Brightside with my closest friends and family will forever be some of the most fun I’ve ever had. PK and the Mighty Seven are worth every penny and then some!

We picked our band long before we picked our venue or even our wedding date! After discovering PK and the Mighty Seven at Porchfest a few years ago, we knew they were the ones we wanted for our special day. There is a magic in their funky and soulful sound and their genuine happiness in making great music! Prophet, Sarah, Matt, Ren, Nate, Miles, Jake, Joel, and Mike are simply the best! They brought such great energy. Many of our guests commented on how they had never seen the dance floor so packed all night long. Multiple people reached out after asking for our band’s contact information and told us it was “the best wedding band they had ever seen!” Not only were they fantastic the day of, PK and the Mighty Seven were very easy to coordinate with during the planning process. Matt (on the drums) was our main point person. He worked with our venue to figure out the little details, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Our venue coordinator was really impressed by the level of care, consideration, and thought put in by the band. We had live music for our ceremony, which was expertfully done. They brought a silent generator so that we had A/V set-up outside. All our song requests came out perfectly. If you want to have an amazing wedding, start with an amazing band— having live music performed by a group as talented as PK and the Mighty Seven makes a huge difference!

Matt was easy to communicate with during the planning phase and he and the band worked well with our day of coordinator, so I wasn’t needed at all for day of logistics! Everyone at my wedding raved about the band and they were so good, and so full of energy. They really got the crowd going during the reception, but were also fantastic for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They were happy to follow my slightly less traditional timeline (mini dance sessions after the first dance and again after parent dances!). I originally saw them at the Somerville porch fest in 2024 - they had a huge crowd in front of them (bigger than any other crowd I’d seen at porchfest before) and I decided then that I would use them for my wedding. I didn’t even interview or discuss with other bands, I just knew they were the one and they certainly delivered. Awesome band, INCREDIBLE vocals, and good people - plus having a horn section just makes its more fun. PICK THEM!

PK & the Mighty Seven took our wedding to another level, their performance was absolutely incredible and everything we could have dreamed of. The 7 piece band rocks and they crushed all our song requests. So many people after the reception told us how great the band was and all their song choices, they really got our party going. Matt was super easy to work with on coordinating everything and he was very professional, they know what they are doing making it easier on you. They are worth every penny and I can't recommend booking these guys enough, they will make your wedding even better.

We could not recommend PK and the Mighty Seven enough!!! They were absolutely superb for our 9/21/24 wedding in the Berkshires. We originally discovered them at Porchfest in Somerville, and I knew they were going to bring the party. They have the most incredible energy, and everyone had an absolute blast on the dance floor. They also performed an awesome set at cocktail hour. Matt was super easy to work with (and very responsive to any questions we had), and he even coordinated with our other vendors and the venue to make sure everything went seamlessly. Music was super important to our big day, and we got SO many compliments about how awesome the band was. We chose their Silver package and chose 2 songs for them to learn, and Matt even sent us a version to practice our dance to. The horns were awesome and we loved the hora. The sound technician also leveled out the sound to make sure it wasn't too loud. A++++ for PK. HIRE THIS BAND IMMEDIATELY!

PK and the Mighty 7 greatly exceeded expectations. During cocktail hour they kept it light but when it was time to party they brought the energy. Played almost 3.5 hours including cocktail hour. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Cannot recommend enough. Our guests have not stopped telling us how great they were. I've literally heard guests say they were thw best band they've ever seen at a wedding, and I agree with them.

Let me start by saying that we are not the type to write reviews for anybody - good or bad - but for the sake of future individuals/couples looking to book PK and the Mighty Seven we feel obligated to say that if you are looking for a band to entertain whatever party you are hosting you MUST choose PK and the Mighty Seven. To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. If you are getting married or have a special event in their area you will be doing yourselves an immense disservice not to hire them to make your evening as spectacular as you want it to be.

PK and the Mighty 7 was the best possible choice of band on our wedding day. They made our ceremony come alive with chosen heartfelt music, and brought everyone onto the dance floor during the reception - laughing and having a great time. Even a few weeks after the wedding, guests are still reaching out to us (now as husband and wife) to tell us how impressed they were with the band and how much they enjoyed the music. Matt was super helpful when talking through the timeline of the day and very responsive to all emails and zoom calls in order to make the day special and unique to us. When even the wedding coordinator is asking for the band's contact information to work with them on future events, you know they are the best of the best. We would fully recommend PK and the Mighty 7 to any couple who are looking for a live band on their wedding day or special event!
