Spectacular. Everyone at the Lincklaen was helpful, friendly, and organized, and every step of the process -- from touring the venue to the tasting to the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and farewell brunch -- was wonderful beyond our expectations. Incredible food! Beautiful, charming, and cozy spaces and accommodations that our guests loved. A special place run by kind professionals who made a big day totally magical.

I will be raving about our wedding at The Lincklaen House for the rest of my life. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect thanks in huge part to the incredible Carrie. She is truly phenomenal. Her warmth, organization, and attention to every single detail made our entire experience feel effortless. She checked in with us throughout the weekend, made sure we had everything we needed, and treated our day like it truly mattered to her.

This was the first and only venue we toured and we immediately knew it was the one. The charm, the affordability, the incredible food, and the all-in-one setup made it a no-brainer. Ceremony, cocktail hour on the patio with outdoor games, dinner, and an after-party in the tavern… everything flowed so naturally and beautifully in one building. Even the air conditioning was on point, keeping everyone comfortable all day!

The staff was exceptional. Audrey was amazing throughout the day, and every single team member was kind, professional, and attentive. One of the sweetest moments was when they poured apple juice into champagne glasses for the kids during the toasts, just one of many thoughtful touches that made the whole day feel magical.

Our getting-ready suites were beautiful, spacious, and the perfect spot to start the day. From the small details to the big picture, the Lincklaen House made our dream wedding come true. We are so incredibly grateful and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

After looking around upstate New York for a wedding venue, we found the Lincklaen House and booked a tasting session. We took a tour of the place and loved the aesthetic of the venue and sat down for dinner. We were pretty much already sold at this point as the place checked out and the price was right. The bar for food wasn’t too high - we were hoping it was good. Turns out that the food was really great – and we’re NYC foodies. We don’t say this lightly. With the food being very good, we signed on and put down our deposit, which was extremely fair. Liz was our event coordinator and I have to say, she was incredible. She was hyperresponsive, detail-oriented, and answered all of our questions. She helped us workout the timeline of the day to make sure we were able to do everything we wanted. My wife and I run a creative studio in NYC, so we’re extremely detail-oriented. Liz ran with all our ideas, a few being a bit different/extreme, but she never red-flagged us! A big draw was the hotel booking. We would probably do this differently knowing what we know now, but they let us assign guests to each room. It was a pain on our part, but they followed our plan to the T and this was really appreciated. We had a ton of family traveling from NJ and farther away, so this was important to us. We did the rehearsal dinner there the evening before. It also went very smooth. Food was great as expected! The wedding day went EXTREMELY smoothly. The staff and servers were truly awesome. Everyone I came across was extremely kind and helpful. Liz was there the whole time running around, ensuring everything went according to plan. The wedding day dinner was just like the tasting. You never know, right? Cooking for 2 people vs 90 is a big difference. The steak was incredible! After dinner, we walked around for the first time, everything was setup perfectly - photobooth up and running in a great spot. The bar was great. Truly everything was magical and amazing. I cannot stress enough, Liz was extremely responsive. We have well over 100 emails back and forth within 8 months. We did a few video call meetings as we got closer. I know she communicated with the vendors as well. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Liz and the Lincklaen. You truly made the day perfect. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Lincklaen House! Carrie was so wonderful to work with and made the entire planning process so easy. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious. We couldn't believe how much we got for the value too! I would highly recommend this venue for weddings or really any other event you're looking to host!

We had a perfect experience hosting our ceremony and reception at LH. I could not have imagined a better location.

First of all, Carrie was outstanding during the planning process. Wedding planning can be stressful and LH made everything so easy. I don't think they said no to any of our special requests and always got back to us immediately, even when our wedding was a year and a half away.

The pricing is very fair and transparent. I kept expecting a catch or hidden fee and there were none. I'm honestly still shocked at how low the final price was, especially for such amazing venue.

They went above and beyond to take care of so many last minute emergencies and issues. We originally planned to only have our reception there, but our ceremony location didn't have AC and the temperature was looking to be in the mid 90s that weekend. I called Carrie with less than 36 hours notice to ask about moving the ceremony to LH and her immediate response was "Of course, not a problem."

We basically showed up the day before with a bunch of boxes and they took care of the rest. I'm a Type A over-planner, but felt comfortable letting them handle everything and we had a wonderful, low-stress wedding.

It's a beautiful venue that doesn't need decorations and has a lot of good photo opportunities. Our guests loved the food and open bar and we got a lot of compliments on it. It was wonderful having everything in one place and not having to coordinate different vendors or arrange transportation between a hotel, ceremony, and reception (or even the salon across the street).

If you're looking for a beautiful, low-stress experience, you should absolutely book LH!

We had my daughter's wedding reception at the Lincklaen House this winter, January (2021) and it was more than we could have hoped for. Everything was perfect. The Lincklaen House is a beautiful historic building with old world charm. It has a romantic atmosphere. The soft candlelit lighting, and beautiful old fireplaces add to it's magical charm. They decorate according to the seasons and it looks beautiful and makes for great wedding pictures. The food was delicious and the owners, Mary Margaret and Dan Cooper are great - they are pleasant, accommodating, and easy to work with. The party stayed over for the weekend. The rooms are reasonably priced, spacious, and lovely. There's a great hotel bar in the basement which the guests enjoyed. If you are looking for a unique venue for a wedding reception or party we would highly recommend the Lincklean House!

We were thrilled to have our wedding at the Lincklaen House! When we first found this venue in late 2018, we couldn't quite believe everything they had to offer. We worked closely with the coordinator, Carrie, to plan our reception. When it became clear that the Covid-19 pandemic was going to impact our Summer 2020 wedding, we couldn't have been more grateful for the clear communication and support we received from the venue. On the day of, Carrie took care of everything from set-up/decor, managing staff, coordinating the ceremony, and making sure everything went smoothly. We heard so many horror stories from other "Covid Couples," so we know just how lucky we were to find a venue that was beautiful, flexible, accommodating, and fun. We can't wait to spend many more happy weekends here in the future.

I wanted to share a story about this amazing venue. Due to COVID-19 my fiance and I had to postpone our wedding and basically scrap all of our original plans, which included having our wedding at the Lincklaen House. When I informed Carrie and the staff of this, they could not have been any more understanding and helpful. In what is a very difficult time for us, it was so comforting to have people who genuinely cared for our well-being even though they knew they would be losing the revenue from our event.

I hope if anyone reads this, it will give them an understanding of the type of people they would be working with should they choose this historical venue for their special day.

I will have a place in my heart for Lincklaen House for the rest of my life. The experience was incredible. From start to finish, I was satisfied and all of the wedding guests were raving about the decor, food, and customer service.

Wow, I don't even have words to express how amazing the Lincklaen House is for making our wedding day the most perfect day ever! Our only regret is that we didn't think of it sooner. From day one Carrie and Mary Margaret were professional, helpful, and responsive. We planned our wedding from across the country and anytime we called or emailed, Carrie responded immediately answering all of our questions and putting us at ease. She took time to meet with us when we were in town and spent time going over the menu, timeline, and all the little details we didn't even think of. They accommodated all of our special requests and nailed every detail. It was difficult for me to let go of day of set-up, but Carrie and her staff did an amazing job above and beyond everything we imagined. They were always attentive and making sure everyone and everything was taken care of. The space is so romantic and elegant with little need for additional decorations. And the staff will do everything from set-up to clean-up.
We held both our reception and a Sunday brunch at the Lincklaen House. All the rooms were reserved with our out of town guests. So many guests told us it was the best wedding ever, best food ever, best brunch they ever had, and such wonderful staff. It couldn't have been a more perfect weekend!
