We absolutely loved having our wedding at Lincklaen House! Carrie was so wonderful to work with and made the entire planning process so easy. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious. We couldn't believe how much we got for the value too! I would highly recommend this venue for weddings or really any other event you're looking to host!

We had a perfect experience hosting our ceremony and reception at LH. I could not have imagined a better location.

First of all, Carrie was outstanding during the planning process. Wedding planning can be stressful and LH made everything so easy. I don't think they said no to any of our special requests and always got back to us immediately, even when our wedding was a year and a half away.

The pricing is very fair and transparent. I kept expecting a catch or hidden fee and there were none. I'm honestly still shocked at how low the final price was, especially for such amazing venue.

They went above and beyond to take care of so many last minute emergencies and issues. We originally planned to only have our reception there, but our ceremony location didn't have AC and the temperature was looking to be in the mid 90s that weekend. I called Carrie with less than 36 hours notice to ask about moving the ceremony to LH and her immediate response was "Of course, not a problem."

We basically showed up the day before with a bunch of boxes and they took care of the rest. I'm a Type A over-planner, but felt comfortable letting them handle everything and we had a wonderful, low-stress wedding.

It's a beautiful venue that doesn't need decorations and has a lot of good photo opportunities. Our guests loved the food and open bar and we got a lot of compliments on it. It was wonderful having everything in one place and not having to coordinate different vendors or arrange transportation between a hotel, ceremony, and reception (or even the salon across the street).

If you're looking for a beautiful, low-stress experience, you should absolutely book LH!

We had my daughter's wedding reception at the Lincklaen House this winter, January (2021) and it was more than we could have hoped for. Everything was perfect. The Lincklaen House is a beautiful historic building with old world charm. It has a romantic atmosphere. The soft candlelit lighting, and beautiful old fireplaces add to it's magical charm. They decorate according to the seasons and it looks beautiful and makes for great wedding pictures. The food was delicious and the owners, Mary Margaret and Dan Cooper are great - they are pleasant, accommodating, and easy to work with. The party stayed over for the weekend. The rooms are reasonably priced, spacious, and lovely. There's a great hotel bar in the basement which the guests enjoyed. If you are looking for a unique venue for a wedding reception or party we would highly recommend the Lincklean House!

I wanted to share a story about this amazing venue. Due to COVID-19 my fiance and I had to postpone our wedding and basically scrap all of our original plans, which included having our wedding at the Lincklaen House. When I informed Carrie and the staff of this, they could not have been any more understanding and helpful. In what is a very difficult time for us, it was so comforting to have people who genuinely cared for our well-being even though they knew they would be losing the revenue from our event.

I hope if anyone reads this, it will give them an understanding of the type of people they would be working with should they choose this historical venue for their special day.

We were thrilled to have our wedding at the Lincklaen House! When we first found this venue in late 2018, we couldn't quite believe everything they had to offer. We worked closely with the coordinator, Carrie, to plan our reception. When it became clear that the Covid-19 pandemic was going to impact our Summer 2020 wedding, we couldn't have been more grateful for the clear communication and support we received from the venue. On the day of, Carrie took care of everything from set-up/decor, managing staff, coordinating the ceremony, and making sure everything went smoothly. We heard so many horror stories from other "Covid Couples," so we know just how lucky we were to find a venue that was beautiful, flexible, accommodating, and fun. We can't wait to spend many more happy weekends here in the future.

I will have a place in my heart for Lincklaen House for the rest of my life. The experience was incredible. From start to finish, I was satisfied and all of the wedding guests were raving about the decor, food, and customer service.

Wow, I don't even have words to express how amazing the Lincklaen House is for making our wedding day the most perfect day ever! Our only regret is that we didn't think of it sooner. From day one Carrie and Mary Margaret were professional, helpful, and responsive. We planned our wedding from across the country and anytime we called or emailed, Carrie responded immediately answering all of our questions and putting us at ease. She took time to meet with us when we were in town and spent time going over the menu, timeline, and all the little details we didn't even think of. They accommodated all of our special requests and nailed every detail. It was difficult for me to let go of day of set-up, but Carrie and her staff did an amazing job above and beyond everything we imagined. They were always attentive and making sure everyone and everything was taken care of. The space is so romantic and elegant with little need for additional decorations. And the staff will do everything from set-up to clean-up.
We held both our reception and a Sunday brunch at the Lincklaen House. All the rooms were reserved with our out of town guests. So many guests told us it was the best wedding ever, best food ever, best brunch they ever had, and such wonderful staff. It couldn't have been a more perfect weekend!

The Lincklaen House has perfected the reception game! Carrie Taylor and her team handled the decorations, catering and helped the rest of the vendors with the ease of their own set up. The food was one of the highest complimented parts of the day and was absolutely superb with options for all diets! The bridal suite is like an apartment and made the getting ready amazing for my beauty staff and wedding party alike. Any unscheduled bumps in the road on the way to the reception were handled with ease and the guests had a great time despite waiting on the bride and groom! The whole team is kind, professional and having it at the LH was a great choice. I highly recommend having as many guests as possible spend the night too as it allowed more of them to safely enjoy the evening. We also had access to Stones Throw and the lovely court yard of the building; this gave my larger amount of wedding guests plenty of space to move around. Thank you, LH!

If you are thinking about Lincklaen House for your wedding/reception, do it! You will not be disappointed. First, Carrie and the other event coordinators are helpful from the first day all the way through directing your event. I could not have done it with out them and they took so much stress off of my shoulders. We got so many compliments on the food and the bartender/bar options. All of the staff were professional and so helpful! On top of all the things you get, this venue is a great value/cost.

Wonderful place! Our wedding was perfect. The place was gorgeous, the food was great, and a wonderful time was had by all. The staff was wonderful. Special kudos to their planner Carrie Taylor, who made this an very easy process, from the beginning to the end. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Lincklaen House for our wedding venue. The staff was top notch; so accommodating, so attentive, and so professional. Everything from making sure I knew they had it all taken care of from the weeks prior, to executing my vision down to every last detail. They set up up all of the two dozen boxes of decorations absolutely perfectly. The day of coordinator Carrie, was on top of her game - clearly she knows how to organize and execute a wedding. The food was marvelous - I've heard nothing but praise from all of my guests. The layout was accommodating to my guests. I was pleased that they could handle the whole weekend. Rehearsal dinner, getting ready day of, ceremony, cocktail hour, (making sure we had food and drinks after pictures even though we missed cocktail hour), reception, after party in the tavern, and rooms for overnight guests - all at one place.

Working with the Lincklaen house and Carrie the event coordinator was the best experience we have ever had. Carrie was so prompt and responsive to emails and communicated with me and my family. Lincklaen house hosted the most amazing wedding, from the quaint old charm to the impeccable service and delicious food (did I mention the popovers?!) my husband and I will be talking about how incredible our wedding day was and we owe a lot of that to Carrie and the Lincklaen house! They were so accommodating and flexible with requests we made, including custome ordering certain beers and liquors that we liked. My bridal party and some of our closest friends and family stayed right at the Lincklaen house the night of the wedding and my guests told me that was one of the best parts of the wedding! Everyone was there together and partied all night! I would recommend anyone to have their wedding at Lincklaen house! Carrie is above and beyond amazing and was there with us all night to meet our needs (including bringing pizza up to the bridal suite at like midnight) just truly incredible!!

We worked with Carrie, and cannot say enough about how great she was to work with. When we initially met with her, she was willing to work with us to do anything we wanted to make our day special. When we were unsure about certain details, she offered great suggestions that were very helpful and made the planning process fun and stress-free. We had both the ceremony and reception at the Lincklaen, and Carrie gave us great suggestions throughout the planning process.

The staff was very responsive on the days leading up to the wedding, and everyone was incredibly helpful throughout the wedding weekend. Carrie not only made everything happen exactly how we planned it, but she went above and beyond to make the weekend special. Even our guests commented about how impressed they were with the LH staff! There were so many moments throughout the wedding weekend when I found my mom saying to me "Oh, the Lincklaen House staff already took care of that."

Overall, the Lincklaen House is an absolutely beautiful venue and we are so happy we chose it! We would absolutely recommend it to others!

I can not say enough good things about our experience with the Lincklaen House. From start to finish they were truly amazing.

First, in terms of physical space, they really offer something completely unique to the area. The hotel has a very classic appeal without feeling kitschy or run down. The space is very versatile, with multiple rooms both indoor and out that allow guests to sort of choose their own experience throughout the night, and not subject everyone to be boxed in the same for walls for your entire reception.

On to the food...which was in one word - incredible. My husband is a very picky eater and even he enjoyed everything we ended up serving. Because of his pickiness, we did request a fair amount of items that they don't traditionally offer but they were more than willing to accommodate and they did a beautiful job even with those things that they don't typically serve.

Lastly, the event coordinator that we worked with throughout the process was really amazing. My husband and I had quite a few unique requests that she was more than willing to work with us on. She also did a great job juggling all the family dynamics that come into play when planning weddings. She made our whole experience so enjoyable and stress free (which was really incredible given that we did most of our planning from the west coast).

We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue, staff and food, and the staff really worked hard to make sure our reception from start to finish was exactly as we wanted - I would definitely recommend!

Every meeting included a thick folder of notes. They thought of many details and attended to each with perfection. The ease of having guests stay right at this charming venue was exactly our goal. The food was exceptional, the staff attentive. I have two other children and hope they chose this area to tie the knot! Would highly recommend The Lincklaen House.

You will be so incredibly lucky to work with Carrie and the entire Lincklaen House staff! Everything was absolutely amazing, and well exceeded our very high expectations! We very look forward to annual anniversary parties at the venue to relive the magic of our reception at the Lincklaen House over and over again!

Our daughter and her husband recently had their beautiful wedding reception at the Lincklaen House in Cazenovia. Many friends had told us that the service we would receive at the Lincklaen House could not be beat, and they were right. Mary Margaret Kuoer and her staff were amazing! They were so helpful and creative during the planning and so flexible to work with. We had a wonderful food tasting beforehand and they assisted us in making many decisions about the food , table arrangements, flowers and the flow of the evening. Mary Margaret and her staff were there to welcome guests and even helped transition ceremony flowers to reception flowers. They were so attentive and treated us like royalty. Our guests stayed in the comfortable rooms on site and the bride and bridesmaids got ready in the roomy Bridal Suite. Many guest joined us for there Brunch the next day, allowing us to extend the weekend. We heard many compliments from our guests about the delicious food, service and beautiful ambience that the Lincklaen House provided. The photographs really highlight the beauty of the classic Inn, and we loved the cozy fireplaces. The reception was everything we hoped for and we are very glad we had it at the Linckaen House!

I can't say enough good things about having my wedding reception at the Lincklaen. Everyone there, Brittnee especially, handled everything relating to the reception so smoothly and wonderfully that in the end I wished I had decided to have the ceremony there as well. It was almost too easy! They made the food I wanted (all vegetarian, some vegan, some gluten free, I was VERY needy and they seemed more than happy to accommodate). They made the drinks I wanted. They made everything look so nice even though I barely managed to do any decor-related planning at all. Wherever I was for the entire day, Brittnee made sure I had something to eat and drink. They were flexible with the number of guests even on the very last day before the wedding. When the DJ made the wrong announcement, Brittnee got him back on track. She also worked with me to get all of my hard-to-wrangle friends booked with rooms in the inn so that we could continue the party, and they kept the bar open late for us!

This is of course all to say that the day went very smoothly, but it wasn't just that. It was the fact that every time I called, someone there got back to me immediately. And when I was in town and wanted to sample something or meet with someone, they were always available. They helped me plan my day on my schedule, and managed to get everything done to a T without ever pressuring me to make decisions before I was ready. Considering how stressful some of the other planning was, this was truly a dream come true. Working with Brittnee was my taste of what having an event planner for the whole day might have been like, and I think the only reason I survived without one was because she took on so much that I could let my worry about the reception go and focus on other things. She made me confident it would be great, and she delivered.

My husband and I booked our wedding reception at the Lincklaen House, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The event coordinator we worked with, Carrie, was so detailed and organized with all our requests and made everything possible. We were planning an out of state wedding and Carrie was in constant communication with us and kept our mind at ease through out the whole process. The other event coordinator Brittnee was also very helpful, answering emails for Carrie on her day off. All of the staff was very friendly, and helpful! (The staff even put our meal,the night of the wedding in our suite for us to finish later, which is a nice touch and hard to find that kind of service these days! )

My husband and myself fell in love with this venue because of the old charm and character of the building. Lincklaen has a full restaurant and many great tasting and affordable choices. We were able to stay on budget and offer amazing food and an open bar for our guests, which face it that is very hard to find when planning a wedding! Upon booking the hotel for your wedding you also get a room block which especially helped us for out of town guests, the rooms are reasonably priced which put all of our guests and ourselves at ease! After our reception ended we were able to continue the evening in the Three Stone Steps Bar downstairs, which gave us more time to chat with friends and family! Breakfast was also included with our guest's room and this as well gave us more time with family and friends after our big day to meet and reminisce about the night before.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue with vintage charm, amazing service, and an affordable wedding! The staff treated ourselves and our guests like family. Carrie and the Lincklaen house really do go above and beyond to make it beyond a perfect day!

From the moment that we walked in the door, the staff at the Linckalen House were all very kind and helpful. The venue itself is a beautiful, old building with several gorgeous rooms, all of which we inhabited for at least some part of our wedding festivities. We liked that this venue was not a typical ballroom set-up, our guests were able to move freely through four different, unique spaces. The weekend of our wedding, the staff at Lincklaen helped us move everything inside, did all of the set-up and breakdown for us and even repurposed our centerpieces on the breakfast tables the morning after our wedding. The bartender was fantastic, and I can't count how many compliments we got on the food and on how friendly the staff were. The next morning, all we had to do was take the boxes that they had packed up for us with our wedding decor and gifts and load them into our car.

I cannot, however, finish this review without mentioning our event coordinator from Linckalen, Brittnee. Brittnee met us the day we toured the House, and spent the next year answering every question I had (within 24 hours of my emailing it to her). The weekend of our wedding, she was there from Friday afternoon when we got to the venue until Sunday afternoon when we left. I am not even sure she slept, and yet she was the kindest person I have ever worked with. As a DIY bride, I was nervous about relinquishing control to someone else. But Brittnee took my ideas and decor and transformed them into something so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I cannot recommend her any higher, as she truly made our day perfect. She even found my husband a cell phone charger when he lost his, and ensured that we had cake and candy brought to the bridal suite after the reception. She was thoughtful, kind and helpful and never broke a sweat, even when I was close to freaking out. I can't thank her enough for all of her help.

Beautiful location, amazing food and great selections that easily stayed within our budget. Every need was met by a friendly staff, and Brittnee went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was perfect. The Lincklaen House offers all the professional services of a chain hotel or resort and that would charge extra for, but includes those services with a warm, romantic charm of a B&B. Highly recommend to others!

The Lincklaen House was absolutely the perfect venue for my charming, intimate wedding! Mary Margaret and Carrie were always available to meet me when I was coming into town to go over wedding plans and they were also enthusiastic and flexible when we were going over details. The venue itself has beautiful bones and is so packed with charm and history that you don't need to go overboard on flowers or decoration. We booked the entire Inn (rooms) for the weekend and ended up having our rehearsal dinner elsewhere, but having the ceremony, reception and Sunday brunch at the Inn and I couldn't be happier with the service and experience that we were given. Beyond the great service, the price of the food/drink is beyond reasonable- everything was delicious and after we received the bill I felt that we got so much for our money.
I recommend this place for weddings around 100 guests or less so that you can seat all the guests in one room and not have to separate anyone. We got a lot of feedback from guests who attended and they all loved the flow of the weekend best. For the weekend itself, everything was in walking distance and I think people really appreciated the ease of getting around. For the Inn on the wedding day, we had the ceremony in the mantle room, cocktail hour outside, dinner in the mantle room, and dancing in the black/white checkered floor front room and the spacing of everything was just right and really called for all the guests staying together. Looking around I always felt that all the guests where in the same room and feeling connected to the experience. In summary, this is the perfect venue for a couple looking for a charming, intimate, romantic space where having your guests feel connected to you is a priority, you appreciate a great value, and overdecorating is not something you're interested in. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. They book up about a year in advance for a reason!

This day was more than we could of ever expected. There are 23 rooms here and our families ended up booking them all! The set up was amazing. They accommodated anything we needed and more! Many of my friends and family contacted me after the wedding to say it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. I was so happy because lets be honest, you are only having a good time if all of your guests are having fun! I highly suggest the open bar during dinner and you cannot go wrong choosing anything off their menu. We stayed in the bridal suite offered and it was gorgeous with a great jacuzzi that we loved relaxing in after the reception. We had a photo booth in the atrium and the dance floor in the lobby and the patio was accessible for our guests as well! the Lincklaen House had a great flow and our guests were up and moving the whole time having a blast wherever they went! It was an absolutely spectacular event! I recommend The Lincklaen House to everyone I know!!!!! I could go on and on about how amazing they are so just book them before they are too full!!!!!
