Located in Redmond, Washington and La Quinta, California, The Last Bite is a boutique bakery that specializes in European wedding cakes. Krissie knows that wedding cakes can get a bad rap prioritizing decor over flavor. That’s why we believe in wedding cakes that are both sophisticated works of art and exceptionally-delicious desserts, accompanied by exemplary service at every step. Specializing in European-style wedding cakes for 21 years, Krissie is passionate about bringing wedding dreams to life through custom-designed, handcrafted wedding cakes. Your wedding cake will be one of your final memories from this momentous celebration – shouldn’t it be unforgettable from the first look to the last bite?
Use only the highest quality ingredients that are organic, sustainable, and locally sourced whenever possible
Unlike traditional wedding cakes, ours are composed in the European-style with a dozen layers per tier - creating a remarkably moist and flavorful cake defined by its exceptional ingredients instead of sweetness alone
Gluten-free and other dietary restriction options available
The Last Bite can make a variety of desserts for your wedding, including cakes, cookies, croquembouches, cupcakes, groom’s cakes, pastries, and even dessert buffets. They start each relationship with a consultation, to better understand your vision, as well as a tasting, to better understand your flavor preferences. They use high-quality organic, sustainably farmed, and locally sourced ingredients as much as possible, and have gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan options readily available for those with dietary restrictions. On the day of your wedding, they will deliver and set up your delectable dessert, along with a cake stand if necessary. After your wedding, they are happy to provide an anniversary cake to remind you of the joyous occasion.

Mini wedding cake
Our wedding was cancelled and re scheduled 3 times. I was so thankful that Krissie was able to work with us and plan accordingly. She was in contact with us throughout the whole thing making sure we had everything that we needed. Do note that her wedding cakes are a little more spendy than other cakes, this is because they take so much more to make! It is so worth it and her carrot cake is out of this world! I would definitely recommend her.Sent on 10/21/2020
The Last Bite's reply:Thank you Samantha for your glowing review. It was the highlight of my summer to make the dreams come true of my 2020 brides. A whole lot of love goes into each and every cake I make, which makes it all worth it when I receive feedback as yours. Hugs, Krissie

Great experience and phenomenal tasting cake!
It is hard to say enough about our amazing experience with the Last Bite. First off, I can confidently say that my husband's favorite part of the of the whole wedding planning process was this cake tasting. You have an opportunity to try all the flavor combinations at your disposal with the samples of cake provided. This allowed us to develop two different flavor profiles so there was something for everyone to enjoy at our reception. The cake was a huge hit at the reception. We were told numerous times it was the "best wedding cake" guests had ever tasted. I also must point out that from tasting to our wedding day everything was handled in a professional manner and I never had any doubts or concerns throughout the process. Wedding planning can certainly be stressful so the importance of having a vendor who is professional and communicative can't be overstated! Finally, the Last Bite worked closely with our florist to make sure our incredible cake looked just as good as it tasted. I can't recommend them highly enough!Sent on 11/04/2019
The Last Bite's reply:Wow, thank you Abbey for such a fabulous review! It was such an honor to make your wedding cake and to be a part of your spectacular autumn wedding at Columbia winery. It gives me such pleasure knowing how much the cake was enjoyed by everyone. I hope to work with you again in the future for any special celebration cakes you may need. Hugs, Krissie

We had a great experience with Krissie! We loved how many combinations her flavors allowed for, her service is professional, and she works really well to accommodate people’s visions. You can tell that she tries, and it was really appreciated. Her prices are fair, too, which we really respect. We asked for a lot, because I had a really fantastic vision for the wedding, and I think Krissie did her best to deliver my dreams. Thank you for all of your work!Sent on 10/29/2019
My only complaint is that our wedding cake was served to us so cold that we could barely taste it. I don’t know who’s fault this may have been, but it’s a bummer because we know that the cakes would have been incredible if we could actually taste them!
The Last Bite's reply:Thank you Mat for such a fabulous review! I appreciate the detail you provided for future clients. I absolutely loved working with you and Michelle and am so glad I was able to bring your vision to fruition. Though I am so sorry to hear about the cake being too cold to thoroughly enjoy. I will contact you privately to discuss further. All the best, Krissie
