I didn't have a planner because I had a clear vision for the day. But as I got closer, managing threads of all of the different vendors was overwhelming.

I was two months out and searching on Reddit panicked because my florist dropped out. I came across several posts on Gathering Florist.

After a transparent proposal process, I was actually worried she wasn't going to commit because I knew she was the right person to bring the whole thing together.

Her pricing is reasonable and transparent as compared to most New York vendors. She never scoffs at a question.

In the 6 weeks before the wedding, we had a walk-through and calls every 2 - 3 weeks, where there were clear hand-offs. I had relief in handing things off to her. She was responsive in emails in bouncing ideas and questions off of her to help move things along as I finalized details out of her scope. She's not a full-service planner, but no question was ever something she wouldn't help give an opinion on to move things along. She also just wants to make sure you're doing ok.

I loved every detail of my wedding and got to fully experience my vision. It was beyond what I could have hoped for.

For that, I will always be grateful to Victoria. I could not recommend her enough!

Victoria was a joy to work with for our wedding. We did not have a vision for florals, which made Gathering Florist the perfect vendor as design plans are part of the package. With only the vibes of the venue, our desired pallet (jewel tones), and budget, Victoria created a mood board that perfectly fit into our day. Another aspect that we loved was that she is buying in the flower district, ensuring everything is seasonal and fresh.

We had 2 bouquets, 2 boutonnieres, bar and table arrangements, and a stunning ceremony arrangement that Victoria rearranged for our sweetheart table. Set up and delivery was so seamless that we’re not sure how it happened. Almost like magic!

We got married at the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn, where Victoria was one of the recommended vendors, and from our very first call, we could tell how passionate she is about helping couples create their perfect day. Because of Victoria, we were able to truly be present and enjoy every single moment, knowing she had every detail covered — big and small (like making sure I stood on the right side during the ceremony so my grandpa who was joining via Zoom could see me!).

And the florals… truly a dream. They were more beautiful and magical than I could have ever imagined. Victoria completely nailed my vision (chic yet slightly wild) which wasn’t easy to describe!

She was incredibly responsive, kind, and an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. She even went the extra mile after the wedding, packing food up for room at the end of the night so that when we got back from the after-party, we had cake and food waiting for us.

Victoria is the rare combination of brilliantly organized coordinator and inspired floral artist — and brings endless positive energy on top of it all. She hyped us up, kept us calm, and made sure we were having the best time every step of the way.

We were married on April 12, 2025, at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn and hired Victoria as both our florist and day-of coordinator. We started planning our wedding a year in advance. Shortly after booking the venue, I began doing a lot of research on florals. After contacting a dozen or so NYC florists, I was shocked by the prices—many quoted between $12,000 and $30,000 for what I thought was relatively minimal florals.

Eventually, I found Victoria on one of those vendor sites and saw that her pricing was estimated to be within our budget. I studied her Instagram and customer reviews and knew immediately that I should reach out. She got back to us very quickly with a full proposal, letting us know she could deliver exactly what we wanted within our price range. We were also in need of a day-of coordinator at the time and were delighted to find out she offered a discount if we booked both services. It saved us time and money—and we figured that if she were in charge of both the florals and the coordination, she might pay extra attention to making sure everything was perfect :) We weren't wrong!

Over the next year, Victoria and I chatted often on Instagram, sharing ideas. My vision for the wedding evolved as I became more familiar with Victoria’s style. Of course, she’s very versatile and can execute any look you ask for, but I think her best designs are both color-forward and floral-forward. Drawing on a fuller palette allows for more expression and beautiful storytelling. We went back and forth experimenting with ideas up until the final month before the wedding, and we eventually got it just right. Victoria was so kind and incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I messaged her way too much (I felt bad at times!), but she always made herself available. It felt like I was planning my wedding with a close friend whose opinion I could truly trust.

In the end, our ceremony florals were everything we asked for—and somehow so much more than we could have ever dreamed up. The ceremony installation moved me to tears when we first saw it. We are an LGBTQ couple, and Victoria and her team (shout-out to Krystina!) made us feel so special—like our love story was just as deserving of something spectacular as any other. Through this experience, I learned the true power of flowers.

For the reception, we repurposed our ceremony florals for the sweetheart table, added hanging greenery to the ceiling, and had an arrangement on each of our 14 round tables. It was the most beautiful reception I’ve ever been to—and I couldn’t believe it was mine! The photos don’t do it justice; you had to see it to believe it. The table installations were massive and lush, and the added greenery made the entire space feel so alive. When I think about how much we paid for what we got, I still can’t believe it. We started with a modest vision for the florals, but that vision grew once we met Victoria and saw what she was capable of. Had we gone with any other florist we would have had to compromise, but with Victoria we were able to really make the space beautiful.

The day-of logistics were flawless (everything ran on time or even early!). In addition to the expected regular programming, we also had a second ceremony (a Korean pyebaek) and a big friends' dance. It was amazing that Victoria was able to manage everything, including a very complex floral setup.

My advice: Book Victoria, go big with your florals, and don’t be afraid of color! It will all be so beautiful. :)

We are so glad we chose to work with Victoria— she went above and beyond and nailed our inspiration photos. The structure, colors, and vibe of all the flowers were exactly what we we’re hoping for. We couldn’t be happier with how well everything turned out.

I had this crazy idea to hand make 100 ceramic bud vases for the reception tables. I reached out to Victoria shortly after booking her to see if she would be willing to work with me to fill the vases for the event. I was half expecting a florist to say that it was too logistically complicated, and that I was better off renting them instead. To my absolute delight, she was so encouraging. She sent me standard sizes, ranges for the openings, inspiration photos to help get me started. She sent me messages over 16 months, watching my progress and cheering me on. She lugged all 100 of them to the venue, and styled them beautifully on the reception tables. We asked the guests to take them home as party favors. They were a huge hit— I was afraid that we might have too many left over because people would forget them, but not a single one was left at the end of the night!!

We are so grateful for Victoria for encouraging us along the way, for transporting everything, and for styling them so beautifully on the tables. Best of all, she was incredibly pleasant, communicative, and flexible throughout the entire process! She was also extremely conscious of our budget, and did not push us at all to sign up for more than we needed. Very much appreciated while planning a wedding.

We had the best experience working with Victoria as our wedding florist! She was wonderful to work with – responsive, had great ideas and was incredibly helpful and constructive. We didn’t have exact flowers in mind, we just sent her some very general guidance photos and she put together a beautiful mood board that perfectly captured what we were going for. The day of flowers then turned out even better than we could’ve imagined (all for a very reasonable price) and she seamlessly coordinated to to get everything set up with the venue and drop off bridal flowers with me, without us having to think about or worry about anything. She was quick to respond over email and very easy to work with (we had only two phone calls throughout the whole process, both of which were lovely and efficient). We got TONS of compliments on our flowers and I'm obsessed with my bouquet. She is easy to talk to and has a great eye for design. She was not just a "day of" coordinator - we emailed back and forth regularly and had several video meetings before the big day. On our wedding day Victoria made sure everything ran smoothly.
