From the moment Leah and Linsey from The Double Knot came on board, it felt like we had the best friends we could ever ask for guiding us through our wedding journey. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, especially with over 280 guests, live music, and a beautiful space like Luminarias in Monterey Park, but they made it all feel effortless. They handled every detail behind the scenes, always thinking of what we might need before we even knew we needed it. On our wedding day, they were our calm in the chaos: soothing my nerves when hair and makeup ran late, making sure we had an uninterrupted moment to enjoy our dinner together, and packing up all the extras to go home with family. They had a way of quietly orchestrating everything so seamlessly that we could just be present, laugh, dance, and soak in every magical moment. Leah and Linsey aren’t just planners—they’re part of your story, your support, your cheerleaders, and your friends.

Our wedding was beyond anything we could have imagined, and that is all thanks to them. We will forever be grateful for their love, care, and dedication, it truly felt like having the dream team and lifelong friends all in one.

We don’t often write reviews, but Linsey, Leah, and Martina were too incredible to not leave one. Linsey and Leah explained their attention to detail and years of experience that has shaped how they coordinate a wedding and we felt so at ease with their guidance.

We got married in July 2025 at the Athenaeum at Caltech in Pasadena where they’d worked before. Linsey joined us for a session in person at our venue and had such valuable insight. Our best wedding decision was asking her last minute to help coordinate our Indian welcome party of 200+ guests and our only wedding regret was not booking them for a longer period! Their swift decision-making and organization was stellar: they printed schedules for our bridal party, caught a huge seating chart snafu day-of and fixed it on their own, used the emergency kit to sew a button that unexpectedly popped off a tux or bribe the ring bearer with a fruit snack, and remembered my veil which I’d forgotten in the rush!! They navigated assertive parents involved with planning with unflustered supervision and knew how to deescalate smoothly. I’ve seen other wedding planners refuse to do many tasks, so I remember feeling so grateful seeing Linsey help steam my wedding gown on her knees, constantly bring us food and water, and even put all our belongings in the bridal suite at the end of the night together for us to leave the venue without having to pack up - something so often overlooked.

Our guests are still raving about how professional, helpful, and kind they were and how seamlessly the weekend was because of them! Most of all, they are kind, compassionate people who know how to get the job done while being a total joy to work with, which is critical as you spend the most amount of your wedding day with them by your side! We highly recommend The Double Knot- booking them was the BEST decision of our wedding.

We 100% recommend The Double Knot for wedding coordination! We used them for "day-of" coordination. From our first meeting with them, we could tell that they are absolute sweethearts and love doing what they do! For the big day, we had Leah with two assistants. Leah and her team were fantastic the entire day! The biggest thing that we were impressed with was how smoothly the day ran. Everything stayed relatively on time, and nothing felt forced to follow the schedule. It all seemed to just fall into place perfectly! Something we have no doubt was because of the coordination team! If you are looking for a coordinator, stop looking now and just reach out to Leah and Linsey!

The Double Knot twins are my heroes!!! I cannot say enough incredible things about Linsey and Leah's attitude, energy, professionalism, organization skills, communication, oh the list goes on and on! Honestly, I was so sad the wedding day ended because it meant that working with them was over! I loved watching them brainstorm, problem solve, plan minute by minute, add creative suggestions, encourage my ideas, and more. I highly recommend hiring Linsey and Leah. My husband and I hired them to take over two months before the wedding and we are so glad we did. They helped with more than we imagined and reduced our stress levels immensely. We are forever grateful for the amazing Double Knot team.

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire wedding planning experience thanks to The Double Knot! Linsey kept us on track with homework so that we never felt too rushed or behind; everything seemed like such a breeze and we hardly ever felt any stress throughout our planning. Even on the big day, though I was pretty anxious, none of those nerves had anything to do with planning - I knew that we were in good hands with our coordinators and that they were taking care of things. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the day, and we did just that! Can’t thank Linsey and Leah enough for all the hard work they put in towards our wedding. Seriously… don’t think twice about hiring a coordinator for your wedding and definitely don’t pass on The Double Knot. Your wedding day should be a day that you focus on on each other as newlyweds and not having to worry about coordinating or that the given coordinator at your venue is doing their job. I have been in weddings several times where the couple and family was coordinating because the venues coordinator was not doing their job. We never found ourselves doing that at our wedding and all the guests raved about how well The Double Knot handled everything. We hired The Double Knot back in March 2019 right after our engagement and to tell you the truth… my now husband was iffy about even having coordinators to begin with. But oh boy was he wrong. Even with all the postponements we went through this entire pandemic, The Double knot was there the entire time helping us re-schedule our vendors and review all of the nit grit details leading to the wedding day 2 years later. When our wedding finally came, both Linsey and Leah along with their team went above and beyond even with wrenches being thrown at them they managed to figure it all out. It wasn’t supposed to rain the day of but they found a solution and had tarps set up. My husband and I allowed them to make the decisions which helped us focus on our day. My dress wasn’t ironed and had wrinkles in it and even then, Linsey pulled out a professional steam cleaner from her car. I can go on and on about how amazing they are, but would probably end up with a book of good reasons to hire them. Lol in the end of it all, The Double Knot was the best decision we made for our wedding. After 2 years of working with them, we can truly say that we see both Linsey and Leah as family now and in a heartbeat, we would hire them again.

The Double Knot thought of every detail for our wedding! They didn't leave anything unplanned, which led to an absolutely perfect and seamless event! Both of our families couldn't stop talking about how professional and on top of the planning and design they were. I wasn't worried about anything going wrong and if something did, I trusted them to figure it out and allow us to enjoy our company with each other and our families that day, which is exactly what happened.
