We got married in Long Beach, CA on 10/12/24 and all of our guests said Summit's food was THE BEST they had ever been served at wedding! I cannot recommend Summit Event Catering more! Pamela Aki especially was fantastic to work with. We chose the plated option for a guest count of just under 160 guests. We found the prices to be reasonable as compared to other vendors, and the quality of the menu, ingredients, and overall taste to be outstanding! Additionally, Summit allowed us to make several reasonable alterations to our chosen package, which we were really grateful for, due to several guest allergies, etc! Pam was incredibly communicative throughout our entire working relationship and we are so grateful. She made the process so easy! On our wedding day, everything went smoothly and the Summit staff was fantastic. We look back at the catering portion of our wedding with fond memories. Thank you Summit & Pam!

Our wedding coordinator from Modern LA Weddings highly recommended this vendor. We met with Veronica who is so fun and has so many wonderful food ideas. Food genuinely excites these people! You get the sense that they truly want to bring out the best food regardless of your style. They can do it all! We had them do a plated dinner with 6 tray-passed hors d'ouevres. They were so easy to work with and let us try so many different items before making our decision. They also were very flexible with the logistics since we had to change our wedding venue due to Covid and hosted the wedding in my parent's backyard. I was nervous about how food would turn out coming out of a mobile kitchen but it was still incredible. To this day I get compliments on how good the food was! It's not something you hear very often from wedding guests.

I hired Summit for my black tie wedding in Palm Springs. We drove to Orange county for a tasting and we knew they were the company for us right away. The food was delicious and the staff was warm, friendly, and organized!
Pam, our event coordinator, was awesome! She was always available for a quick phone call for questions. She even drove out to Palm Springs to check out the venue before our big day to make sure everything went smoothly.

We learned about Summit Event Catering from our good friend, who also used them for her wedding. The company - and Pamela (who we directly worked with) - blew us away. Pamela was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. She was clearly knowledgeable and truly cared for us as a couple, ensuring that we knew all our options, saving us money where she could, and sharing tidbits of advice from her many years in this industry. Multiple times she eased our concerns, especially my wife whose anxiety was through the roof many times over in this process. Although initially hard to schedule (given we were living across the country), the taste testing was phenomenal and gave a great view of what to expect at the wedding.
The day of the event also went incredibly well. Our guest were taken care of and loved the amazing food. I assure you nobody went hungry. The staff was also very professional and really made our wife and I feel special throughout the night. There is no doubt that Summit Event Catering has ample experience in this industry. We have recommended them to our friends and family.

And their VP, Veronica was nothing short of fantastic, she made me feel like family and she took extra time to talk things through with me so that I felt comfortable. We went to several food tastings and when we went with Summit we immediately knew they were the ones. If you want professional staff, DELICIOUS food, and great set up/breakdown, look no further!

Debbie and team were amazing! It was clear how much experience they had. She was organized and easy to communicate with pre-wedding. When we were doing photos (during cocktail hour), the staff was constantly checking on the bridal party to make sure we had something to eat. Especially one of the servers, Hannah! She was always going out of her way to make sure that I was fed. Couldn't have appreciated her more. During the reception, service continued to be fantastic -- people loved the late-night snacks of fries! Thank you to the team for contributing to such an unforgettable night!

As my partner and I planned our wedding, we had a couple of unpleasant encounters with overpriced caterers. The moment we spoke to Veronica, from Summit Event Catering we were sold. We hired Summit Events Catering before even trying the food. The customer service was so above and beyond we just had to work with Summit and their all-star coordinator, Veronica Medrano.

Veronica delivered on her promise to make our event a beautiful, special, and delicious one. Summit was able to work with us in so many capacities but I'll try and keep it short. We were able to taste a variety of their tasty menu options and select meals for all our guests, including our pescetarian guests. Choosing from so many great options was so hard! On the day of the event, they provided a delicious iced tea, water, water cups, kind, professional, flexible service staff, and of course, the delicious meal we are all still raving about to this day. Summit allowed us to personalize the meals a little further by permitting our family to provide a home made beverage.

The buffet was well organized. The wedding party was taken care of as they made sure to set aside appetizers for us. We, the bride and groom, were served our dinner and did not have to wait for the buffet line. The staff was flexible enough to pass around our cake pop desserts (from a different vendor).

Don't worry if your venue does not permit cooking on site. Summit can work with that.

For some, food is not as important for their event. For us, it was the most important. It is so obvious the hands cooking the food are so special and talented. On top of that, Veronica is well connected in the community. She was able to refer us to other vendors in the area. She is truly an expert in her field as are the great chefs.

When we first started to look for caterers, we had no idea what we were looking for and what we wanted. We found Summit Catering as one of the "preferred vendors" from our venue. They were located in Fullerton which is really close to where we live, so I made a call. From the moment I talked with Veronica on the phone from day 1, I knew they were our caterers. We even looked/spoke to 3 other caterers after them and we still came back to Summit. Veronica knew exactly what I wanted without me even knowing what I wanted. She knew my fiance and I were big on making sure the food was good and that all of our guests had a good time.

Veronica helped us plan the perfect menu for our wedding with just the right amount of deliciousness and fun. We had great appetizers that fed our guests through cocktail hour. The food during the reception was amazing with a carving station to top it off. Lastly we had late night snacks with bacon wrapped hot dogs that really helped with our guests who just wanted to linger around before heading home. Everyone til this day has complimented on how good the food was at the wedding and we can't thank Veronica enough for her guidance in planning.

I also want to note that we got married in downtown LA during the Women's March (aka Trump protest) and Veronica and her team were still able to make their way to the venue site and prepare a meal for 260 guests on time. They had to push and shove (with some law enforcers) to get to our venue to set up, but they were professional and timeline. We couldn't have asked for a better team of caterers that wanted to make our day more special than we did for ourselves.
