DJ Mario is the absolute best DJ! We had talked to an exhaustive list of DJs to DJ our wedding, but we knew we wanted DJ Mario as soon as we got off a video call with him. He was super personable and very easy to talk to! Just an awesome person in general. During the wedding, he kept the party going all night! As many other reviews have stated, we had so many guests come up to us and say how amazing and spectacular he was! We had a pretty large group of shy guests, but he had them ALL up and dancing the whole night! He even got on the dance floor and gave the guests a tutorial on some of the line dances! Everything from the lights, photobooth, music, planning and setup exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have picked a better DJ for our wedding!

Mario was our wedding DJ, and we cannot recommend him and the DC DJs enough! From the beginning, he was so helpful and easy to get a hold of whenever we had questions. He played great music during the reception and kept the dance floor packed all night. We've had several guests mention how good the music was and later, when talking about the wedding, how FUN it was! We owe a lot of that fantastic feedback to DJ Mario. He was also a great MC; the events flowed smoothly; he orchestrated a soul train line for us, a request I made the night of, and our guests loved it. We couldn't have been happier with our DJ choice; you won't regret booking with the DC DJs.

Mario is amazing! We were so lucky to have found him for our wedding. We absolutely loved the whole experience. The planning process was very smooth and the portal was easy to navigate. I had a rockstar vendor team - But I have been looking forward to leaving this review the most. Wherever you are getting married - If DC DJs will travel to you, contact Mario immediately and book them. I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding in Leesburg, VA and I had the most fun during their reception with the DC DJs Team. My friend was a wedding photographer herself so I knew she was around a lot of different DJs so it showed a lot to see who she chose for her personal vendor team. My fiance and I were planning a wedding at Smith Mountain Lake which is 4 hours south of Leesburg. I inquired if they would travel that far and they would, for an additional fee, and it was the best decision we made. Mario helped us through deciding what package was right for our event. They provided planning guides that made music selection and organization a breeze. Just in the final planning meeting alone, his personality was so much fun. I am not overexaggerating when I say that Mario was by far the most complimented vendor we had. Almost every guest went out of their way to tell us how much they loved him. His enthusiasm was genuinely contagious. I assumed my parents would sit and talk to their friends and family during the majority of dancing but they were on their feet with most all of the guests through the night. We had two hours of straight dancing and if I could have changed anything, I would have prolonged the party so that we could have had more time. I could not be happier with our experience with DC DJs. I really hope I get to go to another wedding in the future with this team so we can relive the fun.

Mario took the time to do a call with us about two weeks before the wedding. During that call he got a good understanding for the things that we absolutely knew we wanted, and he really leaned into those. He also had a good feel for things that we did not have strong feelings about, and was able to offer good advice thanks to his experience.

In addition to the call, The DC DJs also make the preparation work seamless with an online portal to fill out forms and mark must play (and do not play) songs.

We hired Mario from DC DJs for our wedding and I'm so happy we did! DC DJs' planning process is organized and thorough. When we came up with an idea the week of the wedding to open the dance floor, Mario was open-minded and excited. On the wedding day, he was professional while still being so fun! He handled the ceremony amplification and made sure everyone could be heard over the wind. At the reception, he kept the dance floor packed, played great music and had professional-looking lighting all over the space. My husband said he is a true "pro's pro". If you're getting married in the DMV area, we strongly recommend DC DJs & Mario.

Mario is THE BEST DJ around. His presence lit up the room at our wedding and he was by far the hit of the party. He was very responsive through the entire process and worked so well with us. His energy was off the charts and kept the crowd into it the entire night. He was by far the best wedding DJ we have every experienced, and we were lucky to have him. Mario and his team truly made my wedding one to remember. From our first meeting he completely understood our vision. He included all the genres and eras of music that we requested and kept the party going all night long.
He even incorporated traditional Ethiopian music for my family into his playlist throughout the night.
My bridesmaid's and I did a surprise dance for the groom and Mario cut and edited the song perfectly. I could not have asked for a better experience!
