Constructed between 1883 and 1885, The Crest in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina is a testament to a bygone era's grandeur. Once owned by James Mitchell Rogers, a prominent local entrepreneur, this venerable house has seen the city's evolution. Meticulously restored, the Rogers House stands anew as a symbol of elegance and sophistication, offering an enchanting wedding venue.
Facilities and Capacity:
With 4,500 square feet, the house provides ample space for event preparations. The ground floor features a luxurious library lounge and three rooms with 12-foot ceilings, perfect for photos and hors d'oeuvres. Two private restrooms are available, and the well-equipped kitchen includes refrigerators, a warming box, a sink, an ice machine, and stainless steel tables. On the second floor, there's a dedicated area for hair and makeup, a lounge, and a dressing room with a private restroom. The carriage house, a charming 3,000-square-foot space, suits receptions or indoor ceremonies for up to 150 guests. A garden area offers a picturesque setting for vows, and for larger events up to 250 guests, the lawn and carriage house can be utilized.
The property includes 150 white garden chairs, 150 black Chiavari chairs, round and rectangular tables, a cake table, and two bars. Access begins at 9 AM, with extended hours available. Events conclude by 11 PM, with breakdown until midnight. Bridal preparation suites offer natural light, clothing storage, refreshments, and grooming amenities. A groom's room provides a space for relaxation and refreshments. Located conveniently near hotels, the airport, and dining options, the venue offers exclusivity, hosting only one wedding per day. Ceremony and reception spaces are available, with indoor alternatives for inclement weather. Ample parking is provided for your convenience
