Kennedy was absolutely incredible to work with! She took the time to really get to know me, my style, and what I was looking for. She even helped me explore ideas with my mom’s dress, which meant so much.
She did such a great job of understanding my style that I could truly see myself in each dress she picked out. But she absolutely nailed it on the first try, and that ended up being the one! She was so patient and truly felt like a partner in the process. I am so grateful to have worked with her. :)

This shop was the platonic ideal of of wedding boutique. I had been to several boutiques at this point and was feeling a little run down but The Bustle gave us the full bridal experience from a custom sign out front of the store to complimentary champagne. Our stylist, Kennedy, was warm and welcoming and very helpful in feeling out the right vibe and style for me, a bride who really does not dress up that often. My Elysee gown was a showstopper at my wedding and I'm so glad they helped me find it. The cherry on top was how easy it was for me to ship the dress from CA to DC with no trouble. The gowns are on the pricey side but I'd say they're absolutely worth it.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at The Bustle. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel comfortable and special from the moment I walked in (extra thank you to Paytin!). From the champagne, to the cute desserts, and their expertise and genuine enthusiasm for helping me find the perfect dress, The Bustle is truly exceptional. The boutique boasts a diverse and beautiful selection of gowns, each more stunning than the last, making the decision-making process a delightful and unforgettable experience.

After shopping with my maid of honor for her wedding dress at The Bustle, I had a premonition I would find mine there as well. What makes The Bustle stand out is its layout and its staff. It was really nice to be in a room with just my party; it felt more intimate and less chaotic than some of the other places I visited. I also really appreciated that I could pre-select some styles that I was interested in ahead of time to help my stylist get a feel for what I would be open to trying on. As someone who had no idea what type of dress I was going to wear, Emily made me feel so comfortable and never pressured me towards a certain dress or made me feel rushed, and always presented me with options within my budget. Every visit, from shopping to purchasing to picking up to alterations was as great as the next, and they certainly made me feel looked after and very special. Plus the dress was GORGEOUS!

When I say The Bustle made it a breeze from start to finish with wedding dress shopping, I mean it. Lexi helped me with my fitting appointment and I told her my vision and sure enough she brought out my dream dress on the very FIRST pick. I put it on and instantly started crying because it was what I had been dreaming of for so many years and she helped me achieve that dream! Going back in for alterations and additional fittings was also so easy and not stressful at ALL, which is all you can hope for as a bride with no wedding planner!! They were such a treat to work with and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!!

I had the best experience wedding dress shopping with The Bustle in Del Mar. The boutique is so cute, we were given champagne upon arrival, and my stylist did a great job pulling styles for me based on what I described to her. It was the third boutique I visited, and I said yes to my dress that day! Highly recommend for any bride.

I had the most amazing experience at The Bustle! My consultant Lexi was so kind, patient and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I tried on several beautiful dresses and was able to find the one! I couldn’t have been happier with how fun and stress-free everything was. LOOOOVVVVVEEEEDDDD my experience at The Bustle - I went for a dress appointment in June 2019 - after going sooooo many many different stores -thinking they would be out of my price range. BUT to my surprise not only was the place adorable and in my price range an old high school friend ended up being my lovely stylist during my appointment. Upon arrival, you are greeted with adorable details and your own personal room. The room you are put into is based on your price range so your possy can run wild without breaking the bank. Their amazing selection was unlike many of the other places I went and I ended up having my bridal moment and found THE ONE. After finding the one I got my dress exactly when expected in December 2019. Overall my experience was magical and I cannot recommend The Bustle enough if you want a special experience. One thing to note is that they do not do alterations in-house (but have a recommendation) and had a small veil collection.

Growing up in San Diego, we would always drive by The Bustle and I would admire the dresses in the window, or peek into the store while picking up food at Double Happiness, and I would think to myself, “one day.” Well, now I can officially say I am a “Bustle Bride.”

My mom, sister, and I came in on Saturday to find my dream dress and my consultant, Brooke, did just that and more. The Bustle shows its care for each client the moment you approach the store front and see a sign welcoming you as their “bride-to-be.” We were welcomed by Brooke and Paytin who offered us some bubbly and water (and the bubbly was very much appreciated).

Brooke sat down with me and asked me questions about my fiancé, where we are getting married, and my vision for a wedding dress including things I like and do not like in dresses. She patiently listened and took notes while I shared my thoughts and talked about other dresses I have tried on. Even though I had selected some dresses on their appointment portal before coming in, they also allowed my mom, sister, and I to look over the racks and see if anything stood out to us. Brooke directed us to the right area to look that was in our budget. The first dress I tried on was beautiful, but the second dress took my breath away (and ended up being my dress). Brooke recommended some other dresses to try on just so I could make sure I was set on my decision.

Besides finding my dress, Brooke was the standout moment from The Bustle. She got me in and out of dresses, and back into and out of dresses that I liked. She was supportive but not pushy and I really was able to feel that she was just there to help me feel happy and beautiful. She was always ready to grab a veil, headpiece, or belt if we asked and she is an EXPERT dress train fluffer. She also patiently endured all the staring at myself in the mirror that I did while I tried to imagine myself in each dress at my wedding. When it came down to two dresses, I never felt pushed into a decision; Brooke just asked me questions about how I felt, so it was very much my decision in the end. She patiently stood next to me holding the other dress I was considering while I looked in the mirror and made my decision. She was so, so kind.

Overall, it was such a warm, happy moment and I am so glad that I found my dress at The Bustle because it has been my dream since I was a little girl. The dress was also well under my budget! I plan on coming back with my sister to look for bridesmaid dresses, too. :)
