Melissa is so talented! I was so amazed by the actual detail she able to put on the cakes. It is one thing to have a beautiful cake and quite another for it to actually taste good, usually you have either one or the other, but with Melissa, you get it all! The cake was beautifully decorated on the outside with her artistic skills, and tasted just as good on the inside. I will recommend her to everyone I know!

Melissa was incredible!! Her cakes are not only beautiful, but they taste so GOOD! She produced the most beautiful cake for my wedding, it looked exactly like I had envisioned. And we got so many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever had! She also make mini banana puddings (which are my husbands favorite) for our rehearsal dinner and they were so great! Highly recommend!

From the start, Melissa was amazing. She was the first cake tasting we had and we booked her on the spot! She made us exactly what we wanted and everyone at our wedding RAVED about the cake! We had a key lime layer, a lemon layer with lemon curd, and an orange layer. She swooped in and set up our cake and no one even saw her! Our cake practically appeared out of thin air straight into perfection. We've ordered smaller cakes for our anniversary because we loved them so much and I think it will turn into a yearly tradition!

Melissa did an absolutely incredible job with our wedding cake and cupcakes! Our guests were so impressed by the taste, presentation, creativity, and beauty of the cake and succulent cupcakes. Melissa is very responsive and you never have to worry about following up with her because she is on top of it and will be the first to contact you! She was also very flexible when we had to re-schedule thanks to COVID. Melissa absolutely puts her heart and soul into every piece that she creates and it SHOWS! Not only are her works of art beautiful, but they taste amazing as well! People are still talking about our cake and cupcakes! We cannot thank Melissa enough for for making our special day completely unique with succulent perfection! 🌵💗 We highly recommend Melissa for ALL of your baking needs!

We loved our cakes! We got 2 small cake tops as our bride (snickerdoodle with buttercream) and grooms cake (chocolate with chocolate ganache icing), and then a ton of cupcakes and sheet cake (both flavors) for the guests. The flavors were delicious, and the cakes were beautiful! All of our guests commented on how much they loved the cake (especially the chocolate)! I am a pastry chef so of course my biggest concern was the cake, and she nailed it! Thank you so much!!

What can I say about The Best Little Cake House in Texas. The word little may be in the name of the company but there is nothing little about the flavors or the skills of the creator/owner. The cake was simply beautiful in the champagne and taupe colors. My guest said it was the most beautiful cake they had ever seen. Also most important was the flavor. The flavors exploded in your mouth with the taste of strawberries cream cheese chocolate and route velvet. To top it off they were hand made magnolia leaves in the same colors cascading down the cake. She took the words from a single consultation and made it come into reality. She is a true artist. It had to have been one of the most moist and flavorful cakes I had ever eaten. It was so pretty I almost didn’t cut it!! What u can tell from the photo is that it was on a spinning base. Talk about impressive.

Oh but don’t stop at just the wedding cakes,. She supplied brownies and cookies, mini cupcakes and Carmelita’s. So if you want chewy gooey goodness, book her for those things as well!

Melissa is awesome to work with and made a beautiful, yet simple wedding cake for us. I was hesitant on the Vanilla due to I am not a big Almond flavor person but she proved me Wrong.. it was a mild flavor and unfortunately there was not a piece left for me to have on our wedding day, so that should tell you how good her cakes are. The flavors of Red Velvet and the Chocolate/Chocolate chips were also a hit. Will definitely use her again to possibly make me a layer cake when my 1 year anniversary comes around since I was unable to save any of the wedding cake. Thanks Melissa
