The Barn of Chapel Hill is a DREAM! What an absolutely stunning venue and it was the perfect place for our picture perfect wedding. Beyond being a beautiful venue you can not beat working with Kara and her team! Kara is incredibly responsive, helpful and easy to work with. She really makes sure your vision is achieved and your day goes smoothly. The Barn of Chapel Hill does all their florals in house and Jenn is a floral visionary! She put together the most beautiful flowers and they made the space! The Barn is affordable and you get a great package. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Scott and I were so lucky to find a locale that suited every wedding wish we had. The Barn of Chapel Hill was very easy to work with and had every amenity that we wanted. The space had a backup plan in case of rain, which was super important to us, and was able to host both the ceremony and reception seamlessly. The Barn itself is the perfect mix of reclaimed wood framing inside with modern amenities like air-conditioning, heat, bathrooms, electricity and real floors! The flowers, which are from the in-house florist, were vibrant, gorgeous and totally nailed my garden wedding vibes. She also made floral bracelets for the bridesmaids and mother of the bride and groom that were exactly what I wanted. Each one was unique and theyare much easier to handle than bouquets. Kara, the owner, was a dream to work with -- very kind and understanding of all of the crazy requests and questions that brides have leading up to the day. The Bridal Suite is full of light and made for beautiful getting ready pictures. Plus, it has its own bathroom, makeup and coffee station for the bride and bridesmaids to use! The rentals they use from Cottage Luxe were incredible and totally fit the look we were going for in the Barn. We were able to bring in tons of family heirlooms and other meaningful pieces to decorate with and personalize the space for our wedding. They supply parking attendants (off-duty police) to help with guests and there is plenty of parking on the property. The Barn set up lawn games for guests to play during the cocktail hour held on the covered patio. The brick courtyard and pergola were such a lovely setting for the ceremony. Best of all, the reception area is expansive with beautiful, vaulted ceilings and plenty of room for eating and dancing! I would choose this venue over and over again.

November wedding. Perfect place for a reception of 100 or more. Open and airy with plenty of room for dancing and dining all in one space. The outdoor porch was large enough for the cocktail hour and gave a nice outdoor break during the reception. The Barn is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. Kara always communicated quickly to our email inquiries and made us feel like friends. She personally cares about every event and figures out a way to say "yes" to so many requests. Also, the upstairs room gave a perfect pre-grand entrance space for the wedding party to relax and have some appetizers.
Jen, the floral designer at Wild Flora Farm is amazing. The bouquets were huge and full of natural-looking flowers in a beautiful variety of colours. The corsages came on copper looking bracelets, rather than the typical elastic around the wrist. The center pieces on the tables were simple but elegant and exactly what we’d wanted. The lavender send-off at the end of the night was such a wonderful and joyous moment. We laughed and got lavender in our mouths but we didn't mind - all part of the fun!
I can't say enough good things about this venue and the owner, Kara. I got to meet Kara while playing for a special event at The Barn of Chapel Hill, and she was so professional and such an awesome person to get to know. This is a very special place and I can't wait until my next wedding or event there! I HIGHLY recommend The Barn of Chapel Hill!!
The barn of chapel hill is a stunning facility that will offer a beautiful rustic venue for brides in a primarily non-rural area. It provides a beautiful escape from the busy atmosphere of downtown, while still being in close proximity to local hotels and amenities.
