Brooklyn's The Bailsmen play gypsy jazz and vintage music. Transporting you to a French bistro, New Orleans dance party, or New York gala with stylized grooves. Whether you're contacting us for your intimate, socially distanced wedding reception, or for the big bash next year, The Bailsmen will charm your guests with fun and upbeat music.

Born on the rooftops of Brooklyn in 2012, these young and talented musicians have been performing locally as well as up and down the East Coast. With three albums and countless performances under their belt, this is a true band. They have performed everywhere from The Rainbow Room to the streets of New Orleans, from small house parties to celebrity weddings. Chemistry and high energy are sure to light up your dance floor and event space.

Jazz for Ceremony and Cocktail Hour

Abe was great to deal with, we had special requests for 80s songs that we wanted played in a Jazz format for the ceremony and they were able to help us figure out what could work or not. They were on time and never distracted from the wedding but many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the band.

Perfect band

The Bailsmen played for my 40th birthday party - a 70+ person cocktail party in a loft space. They were the hit of the party! They created a warm and fun atmosphere and I received several requests from guests for their name. Months later, guests are still commenting what an excellent time they had at the party. I would hire them again and recommend them to a friend without hesitation. Abraham was easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you for making the party such a memorable experience!

I hired The Bailsmen to play at my wedding recently and from first contact to the big day
they were wonderful to work with. Clear and responsive communication through phone and email.
And most importantly terrific performers! Total professionals. All my guests loved them
and I couldn't have asked for a better musical accompaniment to the celebration.

Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without them! Abe and everyone in the Bailsmen were very communicative, kind, incredibly talented... they even learned our song for us to play as we walked down the aisle. We will never forget it!

Great artists! We really recommend the bailsmen for those who would like to have a chic atmosphere. they played great French and American music at our cocktail reception at the French consulate in New York and everyone enjoyed the quality . Thank you guys! Amal from France-Amerique magazine

The Bailsmen absolutely stole the show at our wedding - they were such a big hit. They played while our guests arrived, the precessional and recessional for our ceremony, cocktail hour and during dinner. Abraham and the rest of the band were professional and easy to work with throughout the whole process. They are ridiculously talented and so much fun. Having them play our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Their music added such a unique and classy touch to our beautiful day. Thanks guys !!

The Bailsmen are the real deal. If you're looking for an average band, do not hire the Bailsmen. If you're looking for an amazing and ridiculously talented group of musicians to take your event to the next level, hire The Bailsmen. Throughout our wedding, guests were constantly approaching us to tell us that we couldn't have found a more perfect fit for our Moroccan gypsy theme, and I still have people asking me about our band. Abe was super accommodating, responsive and communicative through the process. We loved working with them and would unequivocally hire them again for future events.
