Covid-19 Update
Due to the fluid nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Special Events staff members are taking appropriate precautions as we keep the safety of all guests and animals in mind. In order to maintain social distancing guidelines, maximum capacities for event venues have been reduced.
Facilities and Capacity
Savanna Oasis and Reilly's Reserve are our indoor venues that are perfect for a wedding surrounded by a variety of African species. Meerkats, zebras, giraffes and elephants will be just outside the doors of your celebration as you enjoy a time of dining and dancing with friends and family. For outdoor ceremonies, utilize ZooTampa’s Africa Circle. Your guests will be surrounded by towering trees, lush vegetation and unique African species.

For the day of our wedding my girls and I got dressed in their bridal suite. It was a wonderful experience because we were treated like royalty. Anything we needed the attendants were all over it & we got it!
The food at Zoo Tampa was AMAZING! All of the food was amazing!!!! From the pre-wedding lunch, snacks, appetizers and dinner…..AMAZING! We were definitely impressed and it’s not the “zoo food” one might think. I’m talking gourmet, fine-dining quality. Our people are quite the “Tampa foodies” and they all enjoyed their dinner at our wedding.
We really appreciate Zoo Tampa and especially Courtney, Karlin & Hannah for all of their hard work and caring about our special day. I would chose you all again & again because my day was perfect!
