Wonderful venue

The best venue in Tampa, it's a must see. Dom, the owner is the best to work with, always offering a helping hand and he's extremely attentive to detail. I highly recommend this venue as its one of a kind, honestly Tampa's best kept secret. We had our event in May, the weather was great the outdoor space was beautiful, the indoor space has something to see at every corner. Overall, a wonderful experience, I would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful eclectic venue.

Best event venue in tampa

Red Door 5 is hands down Tampa's Most Amazing Event Venue. We had 200 of our employees for our annual Company Holiday Party this month. Everything was perfect. The outdoor patio made a great spot for live music. The place is so well appointed, we didn't have to worry about renting furniture. The owner Dominique was amazing from our first meet, thru the day of the event. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
My coworkers boasted about this being the best Holiday Party in years. Kudos to Dominique on crating an Exiting and Eclectic Venue!

Tampa's Hidden Gem

We knew Red Door No. 5 was the perfect venue for our wedding reception as soon as we walked in the door. It was important for us to work with local vendors, mostly within our neighborhood of Tampa Heights, and to find a venue that reflected us as a couple. Red Door is an eclectic and quirky space, the perfect canvas to offer a unique guest experience. Our 100 guests raved about the art, courtyard and gardens, and all of the fun we had. A lot of that fun wouldn’t have been possible without Dom. Dom was kind, accommodating and worked with us to plan a few surprises throughout the evening. He even ran to grab more string lights when he noticed an under lit area of the patio. He was also attentive leading up to the day, offering to let us see the space repeatedly for walk-throughs and vendor consultations. Thanks for a wonderful evening! Hope to be back soon.

Great venue. Horrible owner.

I wish I had nothing but wonderful things to say. Almost all of my other vendors were incredible and everyone loved the space. The problem was the lack of organization and the owner. To begin with, know almost zero rental companies are willing to rent to this venue because of how difficult the owner is. It was a huge problem for my caterers and caused a lot of stress. He was unwilling to allow the rentals to sit in the open space until typical pickup. Instead we had to first find a rental company that would rent to him and then pay extra to have it picked up the same night of the wedding.
Before the wedding began, he was unwilling to have someone there to allow vendors in. He stated he would open it once and then someone would need to be there at all times. Once he opened it, he stayed anyways talking to all of the vendors. After the ceremony, he ate and drank with all of the guests asking them if they liked the space and stayed the entire party which was not part of our contract and made several of the guests uncomfortable.
At the end of the night, well before the agreed upon contract time, while the caterers were cleaning up, he all of the sudden had a Bluetooth speaker system all throughout the main living room and kitchen space that he decided to blast his own music on as a sign to get out which he never told anyone about and the DJ had had to do multiple set ups because of it.
While the space is beautiful, the issues with it would certainly have made me think twice about using it. All of our other vendors were amazing and I wish I could say the same here.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
