Facilities and Capacity
We offer two of the most stunning ceremony sites in the Valley, and after “I Do,” our expert event staff will welcome you and your guests to the Twin Owls Great Room to continue the celebration. Taharaa Mountain Lodge caters to events for 60-120 guests and the package includes:

- Twin Owls Great Room (Reception Space)

- Dance Floor and Designated Space for DJ/Band (vendors not included)

Fall Wedding 2024
We held our reception at the Twin Owls Steakhouse at the Taharaa Mountain Lodge in the Fall of 2024 and 1,000% would do it over again. The venue, staff, and food exceeded all expectations and was nothing short of perfection. Kathy was extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the venue booking process. Beth, who leads the event and catering team, was very professional and detail oriented which ensured our day ran smoothly. Both ladies were very kind and supportive throughout and you can tell they truly care about their clients. The dining room is absolutely stunning with huge, floor to ceiling windows with insane mountain views - they give your guests that million-dollar view! Also, the food was the best of any wedding I have ever been to. If you go visit, eat at the steakhouse for dinner and then, as delicious as that is, in my opinion, the catered reception meal was even better! Be sure to add the elk bites, bison ribeye, chicken florentine! Highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Thank You, Taharra Mountain Lodge!
We cannot say enough about the Taharaa Mountain Lodge and Twin Owls Steakhouse. We hosted a welcome dinner for around 50 guests for our son's wedding on December 3, 2025. From planning this event up to the night of the gathering, the staff at Taharaa were wonderful. The servers for the event were amazing, and they attended to the needs of all of our guests. The views from the venue were stunning, with fresh snow and wildlife. The food was delicious, and it was indeed an event we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you for making our wedding week in Estes Park so wonderful!

Amazing Experience
We recently hosted our wedding reception at Taharaa Mountain Lodge, and words cannot express how perfect the evening was! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was executed flawlessly.
The views itself were breathtaking and the food was an absolute highlight! Our guests were very pleased with our buffet selection.

Wedding Reception
This is where we decided to have my daughter's wedding reception. since this was a destination wedding it was a small group of 28 people. The size of the room was more than adequate. The food was set up buffet style and was delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Perfect Location All in One!
When we were looking for our wedding venue, we really wanted everything to be all in one place. People were able to stay there, ceremony and reception were all on site and the Taharaa Lodge exceeded our expectations. We were lucky enough to book out the lodge so the wedding party and family could stay in the lodge. All of the communication from the lodge, from event planner Beth to front office Tobi, were always on-time and friendly. The Lodge made everything flawless as we were all right on site! The salon they have in the basement for me the bride and people to get ready was so perfect!
Honestly, the reason our wedding was so successful was because of Taharaa Lodge. From the perfect Ceremony, to the wonderful cocktail hour, the amazingly prepared food at the reception, everything went so well. As the bride, I never felt overwhelmed with anything that had to do with the venue, and that was really nice. I didnt have to worry about rooms, where people were staying, food, drinks, organizing, ect. It was just the best day and most of that was due to Taharaa Lodge. Cannot recommend them enough.

A dream wedding venue
I recently had the pleasure of getting married at Taharaa Mountain Lodge on September 7, and it was truly the wedding of our dreams. There are stunning mountain views that provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception.
The lodge itself has a cozy yet elegant vibe that made our celebration feel both intimate and special. We had our ceremony under the outdoor pergola and it was absolutely beautiful. The indoor space was equally charming, with rustic décor that added warmth to our reception.
I can’t say enough about the staff at Taharaa (especially Beth!). They were incredibly attentive, helping to ensure every detail was just right. Their support made the planning process smooth and stress-free, allowing us to focus on enjoying our big day.
The rooms were comfortable and each had a private balcony and included homemade breakfast each morning, which was a bonus for our guests. Plus, being close to Estes Park gave us the chance to explore some local attractions during our stay.
Overall, our wedding at Taharaa Mountain Lodge was everything we had hoped for and more. It was a perfect blend of natural beauty and exceptional service, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our love.

Stunning and worth every penny
I could not be more happy about Taharra Mountain Lodge/ Twin Owls Steakhouse hosting our wedding. For us, food was important and even though we didn't eat at Twins Owl prior to booking them, we knew having a kitchen would be better than just something catered. The views of this location was also made us say yes. Majority of our guests weren't from Colorado, so we wanted something enchanting and beautiful to help our friends and family fall in love with this state too. We're so fortunate to be surrounded by so much beauty. We knew we wanted to get married at St Catherine's Chapel on the Rock, so Taharra was certainly a convenient location for that. Although you might have to decide who'd be staying at the Lodge if you're planning a larger wedding, I'd 100% buy the lodge out.
I absolutely loved working with Beth. And Vikki was such great help, especially during the weekend and having guests locking themselves out of their rooms! The only thing I wish we did, was stay a night before the rehearsal so we could have actually use the sauna and Jacuzzi.

I absolutely love working at this venue. Truly one of the best ceremony sites in the Estes Park area. Couple that with the incredible views from the reception deck make this one of the most popular wedding sites around. Owners Metta & Josh are great to work with.
