Rev. Scott Awbrey

We recently got married in a small ceremony in Estes Park, Colorado. While researching officiants, we came across Reverend Scott Awbrey, he lives in the Denver area and performs weddings in Colorado and beyond. We met via a Zoom call so both he and us could talk over arrangements. He sent us each a form to fill out about how we met and a few other fun questions. At the wedding he incorporated those answers into our vows, which made it very personalized. He talked about how we met and the moment we knew that is the person I am going to marry. We had asked for a casual fun ceremony and he delivered. I highly recommend Reverend Scott .

Scott received information last minute from us but managed and maintained flexibility with changes, unpredictable weather, and photography/videography requirements. Scott was very kind and adaptable to the audience. He spoke profoundly and endearingly.

We were thinking we hadn't given Scott enough information about us. He crafted a great storyline from the bits of information we'd given him and he was able to stretch it out into a several minute narrative. He came prepared, improvised when needed and physically knew where to be for photographs. He also gave a lovely service and entertained. Total pro.

From our very first meeting with Scott, we knew he would do an incredible job. Not only is he a seasoned professional in the space (our venue was already familiar with him!) he takes the time to really understand you as a couple. After a short intro meeting and a homework questionnaire, Scott interweaves personal details and stories into the ceremony that really made it feel tailored to us. It was a perfect mix of sincerity and humor, our guests raved about the ceremony afterwards. Happy tears are guaranteed with Scott; we’d choose him again and again!

Scott officiated our wedding in April and we had a great time with him. He made all of the details smooth and easy to follow, even getting my groomsmen lined up properly. During our prep, he was really easy to talk to and had a great plan to help us get an intimate experience. He was also open to questions and spent time with us to get to know us. His ceremony moved well with plenty of humor balanced with thoughtful and touching moments, He put us at ease with his calm demeanor and we are so thankful he was a part of our day!
