Scott was fantastic!
We were thinking we hadn't given Scott enough information about us. He crafted a great storyline from the bits of information we'd given him and he was able to stretch it out into a several minute narrative. He came prepared, improvised when needed and physically knew where to be for photographs. He also gave a lovely service and entertained. Total pro. -

From our very first meeting with Scott, we knew he would do an incredible job. Not only is he a seasoned professional in the space (our venue was already familiar with him!) he takes the time to really understand you as a couple. After a short intro meeting and a homework questionnaire, Scott interweaves personal details and stories into the ceremony that really made it feel tailored to us. It was a perfect mix of sincerity and humor, our guests raved about the ceremony afterwards. Happy tears are guaranteed with Scott; we’d choose him again and again! -

Reverend is a very prepared person. When he begins his speech you will not stop listening to him; he has very cheerful and messages that fill the heart and that invite to the reflection. He is very dynamic, funny and very committed, I definitely recommend 100%.

Rev. Scott was all that we could've asked for! He is so sweet and personable! He met with us via phone call, where we got to know each other and helped us make our decision of having him as our officiant. Right away, Rev. Scott sent us information on how to do a rehearsal on our own (since I decided to do it without him there), apply for a marriage license, change our names, and tips for the ceremony. He was in constant communication with us throughout the process! Rev. Scott also met with each of us before the ceremony, giving us pointers of what to do vs not to do during the ceremony. We requested our ceremony to be semi-religious, and he did just that! He incorporated beautiful scriptures, but it wasn't too much :) Rev. Scott had us fill out a questionnaire about our relationship and incorporated our answers into the ceremony. This made everything really personal and unique! He did a great job with every detail and put in some humor, which everyone loved! We were so pleased with Rev. Scott, and my guests loved him too! Can't stop talking about how great he was! -

We're so glad we found Rev. Awbrey to officiate our intimate ceremony. He did a good job of incorporating the elements that were most important to us into the ceremony.
Rev. Awbrey, also, took a lot of time to keep in touch and make sure we were on schedule in the planning process. On the day of our wedding, he did a wonderful job of making sure our virtual guests felt as if they were there with us. We would recommend his wedding officiant services. -

Our wedding planner recommended Rev. Scott to us as we were new to the area and did not have anyone in mind that we wanted to officiate us. Before booking him, we were able to FaceTime with him and get a feel for one another. He was SO easy to talk to, hilarious, and quick witted. He had so many tools to get to know us better before the wedding day and executed the ceremony PERFECTLY! Out of everything from our wedding day, I had the most people come up to me and tell me how much they loved him. You will not regret booking him! Such a sweet, personable guy with lots of laughs! -

Reverend Scott did amazing we got a lot of complaints from our family on how great the ceremony was! He incorporated our love story and really made it special and fun. There were some comical moments (we needed some comical relief as the day was a little stressful!) and some very serious and loving moments. Great job! -

Awesome Officiant!
We are so happy with our choice to have Rev. Scott officiate our wedding. He was great to work with prior to the wedding by communicating frequently and being very personable. During our ceremony, he did an amazing job including precious moments from our story in both a meaningful and appropriately funny manner. It was a perfect blend! One of our concerns going into our wedding was that while we wanted a religious tone to our wedding, we didn't want it overwhelming the ceremony. We relayed this to Rev. Scott and he did a beautiful job matching our requests. We highly recommend Rev. Scott! -

We’ve been to hundreds of weddings, what I loved about Scott was that he told our story exactly like it happened, which is wonderful, especially for those who haven’t heard it. That style helped everyone there understand the depth of our love and desire to be together. He made us pause and take everything in, not rush to the finish line lol he helps you remember what to do for the photographer (not bring your boutique up to your chest lol) and he turns you guys around during the ceremony so both sides of the family can see you. He makes it fun, he makes it personable, and he collaborates to make it what you want in your ceremony. 100% recommend! Thank you Scott for helping our 10.10.20 ceremony be the best! Ps - he also gives you outlines to help you get organized and even to get your name changed! -

Scott did an amazing job officiating our wedding. The time he spent with us and the questions he asked allowed him to make the ceremony personal and weave our love story into it. We were going to have a friend officiate the wedding but he backed out a month before. Luckily we found Scott Awbrey. He was so helpful and informative and did a great job meeting all our different families religious preferences without over doing it. -

It is so stressful to plan a wedding at times, and you hope that every decision will be worth it in the end. I can't even begin to explain my gratitude for Scott! He is so thorough and personalized in the work that he does for the couple and is so welcoming and kind! He made sure to take care of every detail with us which in the end, the ceremony was astounding! Some of our guests mistook him for a close family friend who might have known us very well (which through the process, definitely felt like he was a long time friend!). That is how personalized he! He truly cares in making sure to know you as a couple, and what brings you two together! But what makes him so much more special then someone who knows how to navigate public speaking, he is unmatched in his knowledge of ceremonial choreography! That sounds weird, but for our wedding, we struggled with some family stuff which left some of the big roles vacant, and Scott knew just how to fill those holes, make sure the bride and groom caught every moment, and leave the crowd in awe! He truly is a master of his craft, and you wont be disappointed! Thank you so much Scott!!! -

I cannot tell you how many guests approached me after my wedding to tell me how special our ceremony was, and my husband and I couldn't agree more! Rev. Scott went above and beyond to make sure our wedding had the spiritual elements that we wanted while also maintaining our humorous, fun-loving side. In addition to the ceremony itself, Rev. Scott was also my go-to for information about obtaining our marriage license and changing my name. We were so lucky to have him as our wedding officiant, and I highly recommend him to any/all engaged couples. -

Fun Lighthearted Wedding
Rev. Scott was wonderful! My husband was deployed for 6 months leading up to our wedding. Rev Scott had us fill out a questionnaire about our love story, it was nice to be able to write our own versions of how we met, and have Scott mesh them together so beautifully. We wanted a fun light hearted ceremony and that is exactly what we got. Everyone after the ceremony was coming up to us asking if Rev Scott was an old friend, he has a wonderful way of creating a beautifully written/delivered ceremony even if he hasn't met the couple until the day of the wedding! He also came up with our unity ceremony, wine and love letters. We wrote each other a letter that we will open and read on our 7 year anniversary, we are very excited to do that and appreciate the idea. -

Sarah Sent on 09/25/2018Reverend Scott was terrific. All of our guests raved about our ceremony afterwards saying it sounded like we'd known Rev. Scott for years, when in actuality we only met a few times before the wedding. We wanted a non-traditional/spiritual wedding that was light-hearted, fun and interesting...and Rev. Scott made it exactly that. He also suggested vows and unity ceremony ideas since we had a child involved. We ended up going with a unity ceremony with glass beads that we could send in for blown glass (another Rev. Scott recommendation). If you're looking for someone whose kind, flexible, fun and professional then Rev. Scott should be your officiant.

Brigitte Sent on 05/20/2018Can I give him more than 5 starts? At first we went to a pastor at our church. He asked us how we met and what we like in each other, and that's it. Later we contacted Rev. Scott and he asked us question after question after question about every detail about our story, the wedding, the family, who we are, what we want. And threw out ideas he had from other weddings and informed us about the legal part of getting married like who signs as witnesses and timing of the marriage license and name change, etc. He even has a full questionnaire you could fill out as much of you like so he could put together a meaningful and personal ceremony. He cared about the ceremony and wedding as if we were his own kids. He is worth more than his fee. I recommend him to anyone wanting a genuine and meaningful officiant!

Katie Sent on 03/01/2018Rev. Scott Awbrey was perfect for our ceremony! For Justin and I, this was the hardest part of our wedding.....finding the right person to marry us. We didn't have any friends we really thought were perfect so I looked elsewhere. I found Rev. Scott and started looking at his Facebook and reviews. We set up a meeting immediately and we knew within minutes of speaking to Scott he was our guy. He was thoughtful, caring, honest, and fun! Everything we wanted. He was able to create our story perfectly for our guests and us. We laughed and some parts were harder because I had just lost my dad and I wanted him to be mentioned. Rev. Scott was awesome at blending all this together and giving us options for our ceremony. He had amazing energy and we loved him and so did our guests! My family still speaks about how amazing our ceremony was and it had all to do with Rev. Scott. Just to put this into perspective I was around number 14 of weddings in my family... I have a large family. Many of my uncles and aunts said it was the best ceremony they have been too. Rev. Scott walked Justin and I through everything and was amazing!!! I can't thank him enough and I HIGHLY recommend him for your big day!

He made sure that he was available to talk anytime that was best for us. He was very professional and gave a lot of pointers and direction during the rehearsal. He even told us the positions that were best for photos. The ceremony itself was exactly what we wanted, he made it very unique and fun. Every single guest mentioned him when I talked to them. Keep in mind my family is very hard to impress.

From our first phone conversation with him, he connected with us and really understood exactly what we were looking for in our wedding ceremony. Rev Scott was resourceful for other vendors and plans in the Rocky Mountain / Estes Park area as we were coming in from out of town. Our ceremony was perfect and his words were meaningful and thoughtful, with humor woven throughout which totally suited our personalities. All of our guests commented to us that this was the “best” ceremony they have witnessed. Two others stated that they cried and they never cry at weddings. Cyndi Sent on 08/17/2016I am not sure that I can even put into words how amazing our wedding ceremony was! Scott is extremely professional and personable. We knew that we had found our officiant after our first phone conference. Scott sent us "homework" which asked a lot of questions about our courtship and I could not be happier with the way that he incorporated some of those stories into our ceremony. He had our family and friends laughing hysterically one minute and tearing up the next. It was as if he had known us our entire lives. We have received numerous compliments about how amazing our ceremony was!
