I'll start off the review by saying that my fiance (at the time) and I were a bit nervous about finding the "perfect fit," with an officiant before our big day. We had a few interviews booked with officiants, and Jane was the first one scheduled. From the beginning of the call, we both knew that she was the one, cancelled all other interviews after talking with her, and promptly scheduled with her. She was absolutely great at reducing our anxiety about the big day, and had such an unbelievably confident and calming presence about her. She asked important questions about how we wanted the ceremony to proceed ( Walking order, to include religious elements, spirital elements, union ceremony, why we chose to get married at our venue. ) Any question we had was answered without pause, with any scenario you could think of was carefully explained. She also explained that her Husband would be able to help usher people down the aisle, and help her coordination with vendors such as the DJ.

As far as planning out the ceremony, she was amazing. She was completely understanding of all of the requests we had for how the ceremony was to be shaped - and gave many suggestions in order to make the event flow better. Her style may differ a bit from others in terms of what she wants out of a couple, but for us it was absolutely perfect, and made the day much more special. First off - she gives homework for both people to complete before the wedding date. This goes over a lot of personal information including a bit of the story of how you met, how you knew they were the one, etc. You will not see your partner's homework, or responses until the ceremony. From there, she crafts an amazingly beautiful ceremony - with information directly from the homework. It felt like she truly knew us, our story, and why we chose to embark on the adventure of marriage during the ceremony. For people who may not know our story as well, it was a great introduction to how we fell in love, and why we chose to get married. The ceremony was so meaningful, beautiful, and funny at times - and we would never have it done any other way. Jane gave us an unbelievably personalized wedding experience, and the best memory of our lives.

Jane was a wonderful officiant to have on our big day. She is caring, thoughtful and communicates very well. Jane took the time to get to know us to make our story very personal. We really enjoyed working with Jane and would definitely recommend for your wedding!

Working with Jane was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning. She made it so simple. There was no intensive interview type meeting to get to know us. She simply had us tell her how we felt about each other through a few prompts. Jane wrote the most thoughtful, special, and intimate ceremony speech I personally have ever heard. It felt as if she had known my husband and I for years. Our family and friends could not stop complimenting on how nice the things she said were. Some thought that she was a close friend instead of someone we hired. I could not recommend her more to officiate your wedding. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the ceremony you get if you hire her.
