Jane is not only a cherished friend but absolutely the best at her job. From start to finish, working with Jane was a beautiful experience.
Jane's process was incredibly thoughtful. She asked all the right questions through detailed homework that helped her truly understand our 54-year love story. She listened carefully to our answers and beautifully incorporated our unique journey into the ceremony - including our divorce, our loss of our son, and finding our way back to each other.
What impressed me most was how Jane seamlessly managed our entire wedding party and guests. Since this was our second marriage to each other, she provided thoughtful instruction to ensure everyone felt included and knew their role. Her husband John was wonderful helping with our grandchildren - our granddaughter and grandson who escorted me down the aisle to "give me away," two of our other sons who walked Meredith down the aisle to ”give her away”, our ring bearer grandson, and flower girl granddaughter.
Jane masterfully condensed and shared our 50+ year love story in a way that was both authentic and deeply moving. She captured the essence of our journey with genuine and emotional care.
The ceremony was perfectly paced - meaningful yet efficient, giving us intimate moments to share with each other while keeping everyone engaged.
Jane approaches her work with authentic care, professionalism, and an ability to make every couple feel truly seen and celebrated. I cannot recommend her highly enough for couples wanting someone who will honor their unique story with both expertise and heart.

Jane’s professionalism made Megan’s wedding an event to remember. From the very beginning, she brought a calm, grounded presence that set the tone for the entire ceremony. She kept things moving smoothly and gracefully, never missing a beat, and yet never drawing attention away from the couple — exactly what you want in an officiant.
I know this might sound a little cheesy, but her voice seemed to blend perfectly with the serenity of the mountains around us. It was soothing, confident, and sincere — everything my daughter needed in that moment. Jane kept Megan calm and focused when the emotions of the day were running high.
She was the maestro, guiding the rhythm and heart of the ceremony, but never trying to be the main event. She simply did her job — beautifully, professionally, and with genuine care. We’re deeply grateful she was part of such a meaningful day.

Excellent service, promptness & professionalism!
Jane was amazing to work with, she responded timely and was extremely flexible when we needed to change our wedding date. Jane really listened to what was important to us and structured our ceremony exactly the way we wanted and personalized it to share our love story. I am writing this review as the Mother of the Groom, not the bride! So I can’t speak to the process but I can speak to the end result! The ceremony Jane wrote for my son and his (now) wife was so beautiful and personal and heartfelt -we laughed, we cried, we felt all the feelings! The homework she assigned them enabled her to hone in on the important details of their relationship and share their innermost feelings for each other! The other thing I loved was that Jane talks to the attendees before the wedding begins and tells them to enjoy and have fun, cheer and celebrate! She also encouraged the bridesmaids and groomsmen to have fun as they walk in and out - and they did exactly that! Working with Jane was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning. She made it so simple. There was no intensive interview type meeting to get to know us. She simply had us tell her how we felt about each other through a few prompts. Jane wrote the most thoughtful, special, and intimate ceremony speech I personally have ever heard. Jane officiated our wedding on 9/21/24 at Spruce Mountain Ranch. She did a phenomenal job! Our friends & family loved her & the beautiful ceremony she created for us. I had no idea what a unity ceremony was during our initial meetings, and she took the time to explain this and give examples of what we could do. We decided on a shot-ski shot of limoncello to unify our marriage in front of all our guests and it’s something I will always remember! Our ceremony was so personal and really captured both of our love stories for each other. We didn’t meet Jane in person until our wedding day but we felt like we had known her forever. A Heartfelt Experience
Jane was kind and professional from the very beginning. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable from our first conversation. About two months before our wedding she sent us each "homework", which she then turned into a beautiful and personal ceremony/love story about our relationship. Jane had ceremony outlines and seating charts for my wedding planner and was very organized. Her husband was very sweet to take photos of us during and after our ceremony. Jane is very professional and also grasps the couples love story on a personal level. She is a great communicator and arrived promptly to the venue. Our overall quality of service with her was 5 stars. Even though we had 40mph wind blowing snow she was determined to finish strong just for us. However we decided to make the move and finish our ceremony in the car. We wouldn’t change a thing and recommend her above and beyond officiating service. Jane truly helped make our wedding dream come true! Her attention to detail and beautiful word choices made our ceremony the absolute best. Her 'homework' really delves into your relationship in the sweetest way possible and you really feel like you and your partner are talking to each other through Jane. It was so sweet to hear the 'inner' words of my husband and I cried way more than I thought I would!
I would highly recommend Jane as your officiant. We didn't want to have a religious ceremony and Jane was more than willing to accommodate! We also had a handfasting ceremony and Jane was able to answer all of our questions and concerns with the actual ceremony itself. She even gives you a copy of her speech on beautiful paper so you can include it in your wedding scrapbook/album.

Jane and John did a great job working with us to capture the perfect vision of our wedding day, and executed it perfectly. We had several meetings with them prior to our ceremony where we discussed ideas and expectations, and Jane provided us with some fun "homework" (couples questionnaires) to complete about our partner, which she then crafted into a beautiful story that was shared during our ceremony. John was our officiant the day of, and was very prompt, professional, and very nice to work with. He had a very warm and calming presence that was very welcome in the face of some wedding day nerves. Jane was absolutely amazing. We did our “homework”, reviewed the general layout of the day, and didn’t hear a word of Jane’s story for our big day until the day with our guests. Hearing how she interpreted our story, each others feelings and thoughts, and then putting it all together blew my mind. I loved hearing the ceremony with our guests. It made me tune into our ceremony more and overall Jane just nailed it. She added humor, heartfelt comments, and tradition all in one. Jane was so much more than we could’ve hoped for in an officiant! It took us a while to find one, and after reading the reviews we decided to reach out to Jane. We do not regret it one bit! Personalized and Beautiful
Jane was an easy pick as our officiant. She was my (bride) back yard neighbor growing up. We knew she was highly rated, and it shows. In all the wedding process/ planning, Jane was the easiest work, and most joyful. We met with her far ahead of time to go over things, then we were assigned “homework” closer to the wedding. Homework being why we love each other. Everything we wrote down was said in the ceremony, Jane crafts words together so well. We chose to have Jane wrote our vows and repeat her, they were beautiful and felt like everything we would have said. The ceremony is so personalized and not one bit generic, we couldn’t have asked for a better officiant! Jane’s husband John attended the wedding and helped out with running the ceremony as well.
