Amber is the bomb! Highly recommend

Amber was fantastic to work with! She is somehow relaxed through out the process and didn't stress is out, while being very on top of a lot of details at the same time. She will ensure your other vendors all know where they need to be and when, and that you have a very stress free wedding day. We liked her pricing model as a % of our overall vendor costs, because we never felt guilty adding new things to the list, or removing them. It set us up to know we could ping her about anything anytime - and she was easily accessible via text or video call.

My husband and I worked with Amber of Sweetest Thing Weddings and could not have been happier! We hired Amber as our event planner as well as our florist for our big day in June 2014. Let me just say if you are on the fence about hiring a planner - just do it. Amber's attention to detail, amazing personality and ability to create beautiful events based on her clients' visions is second to none. She helped us stay organized during the planning process and on our wedding day gave us peace of mind knowing that everything would be taken care of. She almost put together the most stunning floral design that guests of our wedding are STILL talking about almost three years later. I highly recommend Sweetest Thing Weddings for any event planning and floral needs big or small. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Amber was awesome! She totally understood my vision and then took it to a whole other level. The floral arrangements were so beautiful and better than I had even imagined. I remember seeing inside our tent for the first time and being completely stunned. Amber also kept us sane leading up to the big day and was so on top of every little detail we really didn't have to worry about a thing and could focus on what was most important the day of our wedding. She was well worth every penny for that reason alone :) I 100% recommend Amber for your wedding flowers and/or coordination

In planning and organizing our wedding Amber Small literally created it from our dream. The very first question she asked was “what is your vision”? From that point on, our wedding unfolded into the most beautiful little intimate destination wedding one could imagine. Amber left no stone unturned. She is highly organized, knowledgeable, superbly professional, responsive, resourceful, imaginative and a great listener. While she has marvelous ideas, she wants your wedding to be just that, yours. We trusted her and had no reservations about her judgment and her suggestions. We stayed put in NY and let Amber do her thing in Maine. A couple of weeks before the wedding we totally let it go and Amber handled it beautifully. In addition to all of this, we grew to love Amber and we still keep in touch. A year and a half later, we are still smiling about our wedding. We enjoyed our experience so much, we wish we could do it again, of course only if Amber planned it!

Amber knows everything! Great choices on vendors, locations, she knows all the tricks! She was so smooth and got our (large and sometimes hard-to-wrangle) family exactly where they needed to be, everything went so incredibly smoothly you didn't even notice Amber or her team, they were flawless. Amber is incredible. She works so hard to make your wedding dreams a reality. I was so happy to have her managing everything on my big day. THANK GOODNESS for people like her! GET A PLANNER! Even if you are going to plan most of the details yourself, having Amber and Katherine for day of or week of wedding help is essential! They took care of all the last minute details and allowed me to relax on my wedding day with my bridesmaids. Amber also designed my BEAUTIFUL flowers and helped me fit together all the little details I have found in magazines and pinterest. Great planners and definitely worth the money!

Amber and Katherine of The Sweetest Thing Weddings are incredibly creative, highly professional and clearly love what they do. As former professional florist myself, my expectations were extremely high. Every detail of my wedding was handled seamlessly, the flowers were exquisite, and their sense of humor infectious.

amber & kathryn were the absolute best money spent of the wedding! they immediately understood our personalities, style, & vision for our wedding event... & excecuted an absolutely perfect weekend above and beyond any of my already very high expectations. it was unique, beautiful, thoughtful, and the wedding weekend was completely STRESS FREE! every step of the way, amber was there, helping with vendors, decisions, styles, choices, and putting out fires & dramas of every magnitude that come along with a wedding. we absolutely could never, ever have done it without her & she coordinated everything even as we were working thousands of miles away in alaska & overseas. i just cant say enough effusive compliments. thank you for becoming our friend over the last year & we just LOVE YOU! cheers!

Amber has the greatest attention to detail while ensuring that all of the elements her clients hold important take center stage. Her events are the couple personified. Through color, floral arrangements and catchy elements she captures a wedding day in beautiful and memorable fashion. Looking at Amber's work, you feel the desire to be a part of that beautiful moment in time. A wedding day planned in Amber's capable hands will guarantee wonderful wedding memories!!
