Sweet Chef is a residential bakery owned and operated by Dominique Lewis. Dominique Lewis is a formally trained Executive Pastry Chef with a B.S. in Baking & Pastry Arts. Her background includes The Williamsburg Inn, Kingsmill Resort & Spa, The Celtic Manor Resort, William & Mary, and the Culinary Institute of Virginia. She creates wedding cakes, custom cakes and an assortment of fresh pastries. Legal, Insured, and Inspected.
My DC heroes themed wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. Chef Lewis even delivered in costume to my Halloween wedding. She was a delight to work with; she had so many wonderful ideas, which was especially helpful since I wasn't quite sure what I really wanted.

It was a pleasure to work with Chef Dominique! She is so gifted and creative, and will produce the flavors and aesthetic you desire. She exceeded my expectations, which I didn't think was possible as I am familiar with her talents! For my wedding, I requested cupcakes - 13 dozen. She made 4 different flavor combos, and a batch of GF/vegan ones. From the incredible taste and texture of the cupcakes and buttercream, to the gorgeous way they were frosted and garnished, to the beautiful way she arranged the displays, I was beyond ecstatic with my experience!
